After receiving my Meangraf Super Japan Limited Edition, I wanted to thank the Yema team. The watch met my expectations and I am very pleased with it. The design is unique, the dial is beautifully executed, and the ETA 7753 movement gives the watch a reassuring mechanical feel. I particularly appreciate the originality of the mean-speed calculation system, which makes this chronograph different from the usual racing chronographs.
I also want to thank your customer service team for their excellent communication and for checking and regulating my watch before shipping. It was a pleasure dealing with you.
This is a watch with real character, and I am happy to have added it to my collection.

This review is specific to the purchase and delivery of the Superman WorldTime GMT Coke.
Purchase on Yema's website was easy, as it should since they are trying to take your money. Make that as easy as possible. LOL. Received my Coke today. It was extremely well packaged. Shipping and delivery went very smoothly. Shipping courier, DHL, was very good with the constant updates and notifications of status. Happy with this purchasing experience.

I honestly don’t remember the last time I had such a positive experience with a brand’s customer service.

From the very beginning, the communication was incredibly fast, friendly, and helpful. Every question I had was answered with patience and genuine care, and the whole process felt personal rather than like a typical online purchase.

This was my first YEMA watch, and I was already excited about the brand, but the level of customer support made the experience even better.

Superman Titanium MoonTide CMM.11 Limited Edition.
At first, I needed some time to understand the watch especially because I also own a Yema Superman Heritage and I was unconsciously expecting the same experience. It is quite different from more conventional watches and requires a different way of looking at it. The lunar-textured dial should not be judged as a flat dial, but rather as a surface with depth and dynamics. Once I started interpreting it in this way, the watch revealed a completely new experience.
Depending on the light and viewing angle, many small hidden details appear: the dial gains a third dimension, the hour markers stand out more clearly, and the whole watch becomes dynamic rather than static. It is a watch that asks for time and patience, but it rewards both.
The titanium construction also requires some adjustment. At first, the lightness and feel of the bracelet were unusual compared with steel. However, after wearing it for some time, the bracelet started to feel more natural and intimately connected to the wrist.
Overall, I now see the MoonTide as a very distinctive and unique watch: not immediately obvious, but rich in character once you learn how to read it.

I've gone to a fan to a critic in the space of 2 years. I've own 5 Yema watches. My most recent purchase, a world time failed, the date function stopped. Can't fault how this was dealt with, getting it back for repair etc. but over a 100 days for a repair to even begin is just not acceptable. Is this time wasted excluded from my guarantee Because one things for sure if it's dodgy now it will be in the future. Moved to Baltic watches and won't be back.

Really great customer service. Beautifully made watch that feels solid and with great design. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a great chronograph or a everyday watch.

Misleading shipping information

I purchased a watch from Yema based on the information shown on their website, which advertised “free worldwide delivery” and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping. Based on this, I reasonably understood that import duties and customs charges would be covered.

I was only informed of the import fees after the item arrived in Australia, at which point I was told I would need to pay the charges in order to receive the delivery.

I later learned that DDP does not apply outside the US, however this limitation is not clearly stated on the website at the point of purchase. The product page initially displayed DDP shipping and at no point during the purchase process was it clearly communicated that duties would be payable. While customer service has since noted that changing the country at the bottom of the site may alter some shipping information, even then it does not clearly state that duties are payable or direct customers to any FAQ. During the purchase journey from the original product page, there was no reason to believe that DDP would not apply.

The customer service staff have refused to update their product pages to clarify that this only applies to the US and suggested it would be reasonable for customers to contact support before ordering to clarify import fees.t heir reluctance to update the product pages to clearly reflect this limitation raises concerns about the transparency of their shipping practices.

I bought this watch for my wife’s birthday. I thought it appropriate because she was a nurse in Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service. She has always loved the sea, was a canoeing instructor and still is a keen and capable swimmer. We both love visiting France.
She is extremely pleased with the watch. She thinks it is extremely good elegant and well designed.
I am pleased with the ease of purchase and the no-problem delivery in UK. I think it is very good value.
The only minor observation, not a complaint, is that the mesh bracelet may be extremely tough, but it is difficult to adjust without damaging the clasp mechanism. I believe it should be adjusted by a specialist.

I currently own two Yema watches: the Wristmaster Traveller and the Superman Heritage Diver. Both offer attractive designs and a strong vintage-inspired character, and overall I would rate them 4 out of 5 stars. However, there are also some areas where Yema could improve.

The Wristmaster Traveller wears smaller than expected. While the specifications state 39mm, the case measures closer to 38.5mm. On a larger wrist, it can feel a bit undersized and would benefit from being available in a 40mm version. The watch runs well and has a solid feel on the wrist, but the lume is disappointing and provides very little visibility in the dark.

The Superman Heritage Diver caught my attention because of its beautiful classic diver aesthetics, which it absolutely delivers. However, the bracelet is a weak point. The taper from 20mm to 16mm is quite dramatic, making the bracelet feel too light and narrow for a 41mm watch. As a result, the watch head visually overpowers the bracelet. I ended up purchasing an aftermarket strap, and it is disappointing that Yema does not offer a more substantial alternative bracelet option. This appears to be a common point of feedback among owners.

Overall, Yema makes attractive and distinctive watches that I enjoy wearing. That said, some of the shortcomings only become apparent after living with the watches, and they are difficult to assess from the website alone. While I am happy to own these two pieces, I do not currently see myself adding another Yema to my collection unless some of these details are addressed in future models.

My second unsucessful shopping experience with Yema. First time a Yema Arme de l'air hat a serial flaw where the the housing CUT into the bracelet - haven't seen that in 45y yet. This year I wanted to buy a GMT. They sent via UPS to Germany. But they did not pay for rescheduling service. That meant: when I called UPS I the AI dropped the call and denied an agent because sender didn't book hotlien service. On the internet it said, the parcel didn't support rescheduling either. WTF?! UPS of course didn't care to drop at my house EVEN THOUGH I gave them a note at the door. They just went by and took it to their STATION 50km AWAY!!! Yema couldnt recschedule either and only offered to cancel the order again. OMFG - what is going on?! The only thing positive they always gave my money back but after too long of a time. I had to ask for it several times.

I am very happy with the whole experience of buying the watch. And she's a real beauty. Everything was perfect. Compliments to the yema team.

I received a Yema Superman Bronze limited edition watch last year in 2025 as a gift from my wife. The watch worked well for about 6 months, I received many compliments on it as well. Then, after about 6 months, I woke up one morning and the watch had stopped working. So, I chatted online with a Yema support person. After completing the required steps from support, they determined for me to send it back. I sent it back in early March of 2026, then I received it back on June 10, 2026...three months later. And guess what, the watch still doesn't work! I again chatted with a support rep today (Marie), she had me go through more steps (like taking a video of me winding it etc) and still not working. This watch cost about $2000. I have asked for a refund twice during chats online or a new one, I've been denied both times. You figure you pay $2000 for a watch and it doesn't work, I feel Yema should stand behind it. Not only that, now I have to send it back to France and I'm guessing it'll take another several months to get it back. In my opinion, just bad customer service. To this day, I don't know if its poor craftmanship/design or poor workmanship. You figure if you send it back, it would have been fixed or corrected properly since Yema had for three months?? I have since bought a cheap chinese Boderry automatic watch from amazon in the meantime just to have a watch while Yema try's to fix mine. Honestly, it works and keeps time just as good. In the end, maybe this watch from Yema just has/had inherent problems and is a one off so to speak. However the level of customer service after spending $2000 for the Yema watch just isn't there. How about standing behind your timepieces and just refund me or give me a new one as replacement. Now I have to wait 48hrs more to get another return label and probably wait another several months (hoping the watch is repaired properly this time. If Yema employees reading this the reparations # is 86230262 for the original ticket #. It have also been nice to be able to speak to someone too rather just online chatting. Again, this is a $2000 limited edition Superman Bronze watch, only 2000 made or something like that, you think you could get better quality and customer service. Signed unhappy customer in the USA

I first discovered Yema at a watch fair and was immediately impressed by their product quality and unique bracelet design. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Superman Gilt Blue directly from their website, and the entire experience was flawless. Their customer service team was extremely supportive throughout. To my surprise, they shipped the watch the very next day, and it arrived here in California just 3 days later. The build quality of both the watch and the unique bracelet is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Watch was received in perfect condition and well protected. Very pleased with the limited edition model. Lovely colour and beautiful complications. Outstanding quality.

I visited Paris at the end of May and had decided to purchase a French watch as a memory of the trip. I wanted a watch that actually used a French movement. I had identified Yema and noted their new boutique was very close to my hotel. So I visited to try out a Superman Dato or Gilt.

The gentleman who assisted me was extremely helpful and pointed out their limited-edition Dato in the colors of the street signs in St. Germain. It has the in-house CMM.11 caliber movement, which is amazing.

If you are in Paris, you should definitely check out the Yema Boutique. You will be treated like a king/queen.
