21-day hip opener
I have really enjoyed the 21-day hip opener programme. The exercises are easy to follow with multiple variants offered dependent on ability. The explanations of how and why are also helpful. I have seen real results across my practice, in particular getting heels down in malasana, which I never thought would happen
Beyond Yoga: A Science-Based Approach to Yoga That Works
I've been practicing with Lucas Rockwood since 2021, I completed his Gravity Yoga certification program early on and was very impressed by his knowledge of science and physiology, which led me to continue practicing with him. His approach to yoga goes beyond traditional teaching. Rather than presenting yoga or stretching as something abstract or purely intuitive, he offers a clear, structured way to work through movement and flexibility training. Lucas explains and teaches students how their body works and how to train it intelligently and safely. I am currently signed up with his daily 15-minute training sessions, which he offers twice daily on Zoom. I find these short-sessions invaluable. It's a great way to build consistency and experience his teaching in a practical way while also learning about movement through your own body and about your body through movement.
Happy back challenge
Just finished the 21 day happy back challenge, and i will definitely start all over again, and again. Lucas gives clear instructions, exercises are well explained, including variations for different skill levels. Overall a very positive experience!
Absolutely incredible
Absolutely incredible teachers , simple to understand and follow , from breathwork to hip opener to gravity / flexibility courses, all of which were on line . I’ve had just the best experiences and training with yoga body , plus I was lucky enough to do in person, the yoga trapeze course . Which changed my career from a hairdresser to yoga teacher .
YogaBody 200hr Certification course
I completed and graduated from the YB (200hr) course in March, 2026. For anyone interested or even considering it, I would say: DO IT. Lucas and Camilo were our primary instructors and, may I say, they are fantastic communicators. Both of them are very clear in their delivery, explanations, and examples. There is never any doubt about the goal of any lecture or practice, as well as its applicability and purpose. The YB course runs like a well-oiled machine. Lucas and Camilo foresee just about every eventuality and provide for it. The support team is very responsive and helpful - at all times, I felt I would have my concerns addressed, questions asked, and practical issues resolved. Content-wise, this is a fantastic course. I LOVED the 4 prongs of it, and loved graduating as a 4-in-1 coach! I could not make the live Zoom lectures, but having the e-learning platform was amazing. I could always access practices, lectures, pose charts, and course/exam requirements and timelines. Overall, a very professionally-run course with excellent course content, preparation, and applicability. I am proud to be a YB coach!!
Clear, structured, encouraging
I very much like the calm and clear approach Lucas takes, the fact that he consistently links back to scientific evidence, and the clarity he brings on which things respond quickly and which take more time. The hip-opening programme is a good example of his approach as he explains clearly why we need to work on other joints and muscles, not just on the hips themselves.

This program is simple and effective - the format makes it easy to be consistent and make progress. Lucas's delivery is clear and the options make it very inclusive and accessible. I always sleep better when I do the program just before bed which is an added bonus.

This programme has really helped me. I had a very sore lower back and I started YOGABODY a few weeks ago. My back is much improved. I especially like the easy to follow instructions and the simplicity of the exercises. Fifteen minutes a day is good timing too.

5/5 stars. I love that I just tap on the day, then Lucas leads me through the rest; YOGABODY removed all the obstacles to make this a daily habit. The progressions/options are also excellent. As I’ve progressed through the days, and I’m now on my second lap, I can adjust my position to get the right amount of intensity. I also like that Lucas explains where I should (and should not) feel the stretch, and encourages me to feel it myself with my own fingers.
I am on day 2 of the 'science of…
I am on day 2 of the 'science of stretching' and I really love the program so much already. The teacher is amazing, gives very easy explanations and also offers many variations. After the first stretching session yesterday I went about my day but this morning I noticed the first positive side effect; I felt very well rested after my night sleep. I am a horrible sleeper and for more than 20 years I have been waking up almost every hour in panic and in the morning I am tired but do not want to leave my bed. Last night I did wake up often but felt more relaxed. In the morning waking up I felt well rested and quite good. I first did not link it to the stretching but than it dawned on me. I'm a big fan already, if only for the sleeping benifit already.

I have been doing YOGABODY daily for it a month - really enjoying it, 15 mins of strength and 15 mins of stretching 5 days a week - app is clear and well laid out, lots of bonuses (live Q&A, some masterclasses etc) support is responsive and helpful - these guys know what they’re doing, very pleased I found Lucas and yogabody
Socks on!!!
I’m 61 years old and for the first time in years can put my socks on standing up!!! I run several times a week and have for many years but didn’t realise until a chiropractor pointed it out how tight my hips were. Within days of starting the 21 day hip challenge I noticed the difference and have been amazed at how free I am feeling after completing it. Still a way to go but will follow Lucas advise and carry on mixing and matching the positions that suit me best. Definitely excellent value for money. 👌🏻

The instruction given on the Happy Back challenge is really good. Lucas is a great teacher, very thorough and encouraging. My back is much better after following these videos for the past 21 days, and I plan to continue doing the exercises to continue strengthening my core.

Lucas’s Hip Opener challenge has truly changed my quality of life. After just 21-days, I no longer experience aches and pains getting out of bed. I had previously assumed that this daily inconvenience was a byproduct of being in my mid-fifties. But thanks to Lucas, my daily movement is so much improved.
