I recently bough an XSR900 from York Motorbikes. Lovely bike in excellent condition. They transfer with a full service and 12 months MOT, no nonsense or hidden fees etc. They're experts and enthusiasts running a smaller business and workshop, but the service exceeds what you'll get from a larger network or dealership.

am never one for writing a review but york motorcycles and david and his team have went out of their way to help in everyway and beyond my first bike was bought feb 24 but developed a problem 4weeks later phoned and spoke to david and the problem was sorted no problem whatsoever and very quickly 8mth down the line spotted a zzr 1400 on the website a quick call spoke to david went n seen bike n bought it there n then with no hassle whatsoever david is a credit to motorcycle industry my bike was delivered brilliant service in every way and will b using their workshop servce so i couldnt recomend them enough and again thanks to all at york motorcycles

Bought a bike from YM online - good price, exactly as described and very fair trade-in. I later noticed an issue that neither of us had spotted at the time but Dave sorted it out without question, despite a fair bit of expense and hassle for him. Great service.

18 months into a 3 month warranty and the man still comes through for ya !!!
Had issues with my softail classic so got it taken back to Dave (cos that's what back to base means!). He managed to beat the Harley parts ordering system and GOT THE JOB DONE.

Bought a honda cbr 650f from these guys in may, I saw it online and the purchase was made via phone and email. Excellent bike, condition etc, well pleased with it. Came with fresh mot and warranty, delivered to my door at 5am lol. Highly recommend 👌 👍. Best experience you won't be disappointed.

Having just written off a GS I was keen to get another bike, BMW's are jinxed for me now so I had half decided to get a Triumph Explorer. Had a mooch online, went to A!, no joy, round the corner to York Motorbikes for a gander, went upstairs and spotted it straight away...A silver, with a hint of blue, Triumph Trophy SE! It was love at first sight, spent ten minutes or so having a good look at it, went home and checked all the reviews, came out ahead of RT's in every area, I had one for nearly five years so I already knew how good they were, no brainer...Rang up put a deposit down and Natalie was very understanding and ultimately very patient about needing to wait for the insurance to come through for the GS. In the interim I nipped back and had a closer look at it and a bit of a play, talk about whistles and bells...One day short of three weeks after the accident the insurance paid out, rang up,arranged to pick the bike up the following day and did.
A seamless transaction laced with understanding of my circumstances at the time and a cracking bike, the more I ride it the more I like it, its very different to a GS but suits me right now, cleverly couldn't start it just after I'd ridden off and filled up at Morrisons, rang up, "Pull the clutch in..." Doh!

Fantastic company, really easy sale from David, wish I'd come sooner, I bought a lovely Bmw GS1200 in awesome condition, he also bought my wife's Harley, super super fella, TRY YORKMOTORBIKES....

Jeff was recommended to me by a few people fir the service and fitting of A klictronic to my Victory High Ball. Jeff went above and beyond, he collected my bike, serviced, MOT and fitted the disability aid. With his knowledge he knew that the standard fitting kits were less than ideal so had a custom bracket made fir my bike.
Absolute 1st class service, with a smile snd laugh. Thankyou so much to all the team

Had an issue with the bike riding around York, asked at a dealership for advice and they recommended Dave. He was on-site to pick up the bike within 5 minutes and cracked on sorting it as soon as we got to his workshop. Within 30 minutes I was back on the road having been charged a very fair price for the work done to resolve the snag plus a quick tyre pressure top up on his advice.

First class service, proper bloke… I’ll be going back and highly recommend his business.

Dave and Nat were brilliant when I contacted them about buying a bike! Quick and very professional with no pressure at all! My bike was delivered with a minor problem (no fault of theirs) but Dave sorted the problem within a few hours and the bike was delivered the same day! Would 100% recommend them!
