I subscribed to yupptv for a year and it ended in 2020.
To my surprise last month I found out that are still charging me, they have been taking money from my account over 4 years. When I found out and asked them, they said another woman has subscribed under my card details and since last two day she has given another card detail. Week after they called and said I had done the subcription online. Every week a different story. Last week they said they can refund me a month subscription £7.19. This week they agree to refund £14.
After taking £7.19 over 4 years. Their records says I have not used their tv since 2020. Why have they been taking money from my account?

My experience with YuppTV has been disappointing. The customer support team closes queries without providing adequate assistance, which leaves issues unresolved. Additionally, service offerings and available programs have changed significantly without prior notification, and policy adjustments seem to occur without transparency. I would not recommend subscribing to YuppTV based on these concerns, as it feels unreliable and does not prioritize customer needs.

I messaged them to cancel a monthly package that I had subscribed by providing my username and phone number details. Mistakenly I provided them with a email address that I used to register the previous year. They said they had cancelled my previous account but because I had not given them my current registered email, they charged me despite the fact that the phone number that I had provided them with was registered with my current account. They wouldn’t refund my money despite pointing out that the account that was registered with my previous email had already been cancelled by Me previous year and that they had not cancelled anything this year despite my notice. The customer service is really poor and the person was ignoring all my explanation. Avoid these people

Even after my complaint with trust pilot and your post yupptv still not responded nor solved they are just fooling me no use of complaints
I signed up for a subscription, but there were hardly any channels available. Every day, I received 4-5 calls asking when I would subscribe, even though I already had. Over the phone, I was told there would be many channels, but that’s simply not true. This is just a scam with unprofessional staff. Definitely not recommended!

My subscription hasn’t ended yet (25th September 2024) and I haven’t renewed my subscription yet but the yearly subscription money was taken without my permission. I have requested my refund but haven’t responded yet. It is a FRAUD activity and will report it to the bank. I have been contacting again and again with their support team but no respond. I will publish this in social media and YouTube platform through who has 1M viewers. I’ll report it to the bank as FRAUD COMPANY too.

YuppTV sent a credit card hold to my card, I have never used this service or been to their website. Totally random and unsolicited use of my card details.

By default, Ads pop up each time you switch channels. Ads are inserted dynamically even within the channel stream. Even when you are paying for a premium subscription.
When you want to switch the channel, you are forced to watch a minute long "local" ad that yupp tv shows which you can't skip.
It also shows brief ads during the actual channel stream itself. It's not the native ads shown by the actual channel, they hijack the channel stream to show their own ads.
You have to reach out to support to opt-out.
Support is basically unavailable / useless.
It wouldn't be as frustrating if they were upfront about that's how their app works.
But they lie its a system glitch that just happened to your account only, when they actually sell this pre-roll ads /dynamic ads separately in their site itself to advertisers.
Support basically abandons the chat when questioned about it.
Ads are also disabled only temporarily. It comes back again.
Update 11/30: Hijacked Ads are back again.

YuppTV has the rights to add or remove any content as per the terms and conditions.
It didn't mentioned specifically for ads. YuppTV has all the rights to make any changes in the service ,We haven't mentioned anywhere that YuppTV is adfree.

How about providing a clear answer here so that everyone can understand whether ads are included by default for all accounts, even after paying for subscription? If ads are indeed part of the deal, why isn't it clearly mentioned in the package details that you'll be getting ads on every channel change and hijacked ads mid channel stream? And if they are not, who exactly is your "/advertise" section on your website catering to? Where are all these ads being showed?
Also, why is the representative lying that this is a "glitch" happened only to my account when clearly there are multiple reviews here complaining about same issue?
Unsuspecting customers are still being served these intrusive ads even after paying their subscription.

I was on a non-recurring package and they just auto renewed by themselves without my consent. I have screenshots to prove it is a non-recurring package and yet they are not refunding my money. And it is a pain to reach them because they have suspended all their phone numbers. Better not to sign up for this service in the first place, because they will charge you for things without your consent. Will give zero stars if I could.

If only the answer the phone call i had 3 device working for only 1 day n was told will not be charged for 3rd device as i was nor asked now a day later they asking me to pay , calling n on hold foe 4.45mins such a scammers

This guys are very bad service first of all they don't have their contact phone number. I reacently subscribed their service $149 I paid with credit card and Yupptv doesn't have any speed and continues buffering I try to call them and asked for refund because of bad service. they don't mind and told me not able to pay back my money. now I contacting my credit card company to get back my money. my suggestion is don't get trapped with this guys. I'm not recommending this guys.

Been a customer for Yupp TV for several years. Mainly watched by mother and relatives who come from India. We use to contact the customer service by phone who use to sort out the issues immediately.
We have renewed the contract in November/December to see the Telangana and other state assembly results for my brother visiting from India. Lots of channels were removed and the worst situation is the customer service has been changed to whatsapp chat and it is a joke and the problem did not resolved. I left it as I was busy.
My mum came to stay with us and even the Maa TV and other TV channels does not show up on live TV. My mum has to watch these serials on back up and after sitting on what's app chat for a hour, I gave up.
Please do not get YUPP TV. It is a day light robbery. I am sure they will go bust soon. I wish I get my annual subscription back!!

My elderly mother watches a few channels and we renewed the service in Feb this year. After a month or so of decent service, her channels have been "cannot be shown in your region for copyright reasons". We checked our profile and it has gone from UK to the US. But can we get this reversed? No. Emails receive automated Ticket Opened, then immédiate Ticket Closed, messages. Phone calls go to a voicemail with no space left. WhatsApp messages ends up being equally pointless because Chat history is not picked up by the Agent. What a bunch of cowboys! We've asked by WhatsApp for an immediate and full refund. And now they've become shy as well as inept.
