I’ve been with Ziggo for almost a year
I’ve been with Ziggo for almost a year. The first year’s price and performance were fine, but in recent months I’ve had regular connection issues and my bill more than doubled when my discount ended. I was told my contract was over, so I spent 10–20 hours researching other providers—only to later be told I actually had another year left.
A second customer service agent offered a lower-cost plan (€54 instead of €76) if I downgraded my internet and canceled TV/HBO. I agreed, but never got the promised confirmation email. Two weeks later, my invoice was €100, including HBO (which I had canceled) — and even charged twice for it.
Two major customer service failures, broken promises, and higher bills. The internet quality is okay, but after this experience I can’t recommend.

Quite literally the worst internet I have ever seen. Supposed to have 100 mbit/s download speed yet i can't reach above 7, let alone 100. Absolute scam of an internet provider

The worst internet provider you can find
The worst internet provider you can find in the Netherlands. I strongly recommend people avoid Ziggo as much as possible.
I moved address last week and informed Ziggo accordingly, expecting a smooth transfer of service. It has now been over a week without any internet connection, and it seems like this situation will continue even longer. Despite this, Ziggo still charges the full monthly price and offers no alternative solutions or compensation for the lack of service.
An appointment was made with a technician, but apparently, the appointment was arranged incorrectly, and now I have to wait another five days. No alternatives were ever offered. This level of service is absolutely ridiculous. I am not even going into further details about the endless calls and unhelpful responses from customer service.
Overall, my experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and unacceptable. I highly advise anyone considering Ziggo to avoid it at all costs.

If I could have give a -1 star review
If I could have give a -1 star review, I would. I got an unnecessary fine from Ziggo for their Wi-Fi system.. €300 euro’s! I told them I wasn’t home for a few weeks to be able to send it back and that I would’ve done it as soon as possible, no help at all! It’s like they just want money even when they weren’t able to set up my Wi-Fi! Now they started an incasso.. I tried to set up a monthly payment (EVEN THOUGH I TOTALLY DISAGREE TO PAY THIS AMOUNT! I COULD HAVE SENT IT BACK BUT THEY REFUSE AND JUST WANT THE MONEY!) The monthly payments only goes from €75 euro’s per month! When I talked to a colleague on the phone they said they were able to reduce the price to €45 per month and now I’m hearing I can only choose €75 as the lowest. What kind of company charges so much for a Wi-Fi system because you don’t send it back in a few weeks? And also expects me to be able to pay €75 per month. i called them to tell them I will do it as soon as possible but they said I can’t, I need to send the money & I can keep the Wi-Fi system! A Wi-Fi system that I will never be able to use because there is no Wi-Fi connector! and they still think I should pay €300 euros.. Crazy….. I’ve had KPN Wi-Fi and they never did stuff like this, no charge for Wi-Fi box and no difficulty or incasso for anything!!!! I tried switching to Ziggo and I regret it so much!!!!!!! So I have no Wi-Fi at home, a Wi-Fi system that has no Wi-Fi & I have to pay €300 euros!

Very poor service and over charging
Ziggo is the worst provider for internet services. Their prices are high and the speed is very poor.
They also are very unethical in misleading clients.
I am switching to another provider

Terrible service
Terrible service, they can let you hang on the phones hours, very rare to come across a professional agent...most of they time they don't follow up on what they say (not sending contracts...) one of the most horrible services ever met

Ok following my last review
Ok following my last review . I have had a telephone conversation with a representative from. ZIGGO.NL.
It was a civilised but ultimately an unproductive conversation.
He did offer a small reduction in cost but actually this would be cancelled out Immediately on the 1st of July when the new 2% increase is levied.
And the channels I really want to watch like the science channel are in the top package costing 1020 euros per year
It is not just a problem with Ziggo
But all companies you are loyal too. Last year I switched energy companies after 20 years and by taking a 3 year contract the new company saved me over 350 per year and I also got 200 euro back at the end of the first year
Of course all companies want to entice new subscribers.
But long term loyalty should also be rewarded after 25 years I have spent thousands with Ucp/Ziggo.
They are sending a engineer to check the Internet which has a small glitch .
In the UK companies have to offer a pension rate for internet. I am on a pension Tresttial Tv with the exception of the BBC is Free because they have ads.
The person from Ziggo was calm and polite which was appreciated.
But really there was no resolution to my original point that long term term loyalty offers no advantages.
It only pays to change companies when ever your contract allows.

Fraud by any other name
Agreed to change to ziggo. Was told could have comes in English. Not happening. Told we would have the new system installed and working before old one was stopped. Went on holiday old system stopped new equipment tossed over the fence and left to get rained on!. When I did open it found it was incompatible with our fibre connection. Had to go to a shop to arrange for an engineer to sort out and want to charge 40 euros for the privilege!
And originally offered Thursday. Today is Sunday!
Over all would never think about using in the future once the contract is finished I will be sacking them.
If I could this would be zero stars.
Update after the engineer came he said can't attach the ziggo box as we don't have the right connection, they don't do fiber to the house only coax and we would have to have our garden dug up to lay an additional cable which is unnecessary as we have fibre to the house. According to him this happens all the time as the sales people will say ANYTHING to get a registered sale!
So I have cancelled the service and gone back to the previous suppliers who have been great, I can totally recommend Odido.

Ziggo is a scam.
Ziggo called my wife and sold her a "fiber optic" internet at our address, with a discount for switching customers, in a 3-year contract with no early termination option.
Now it turns out they don't operate a fiber network at our address and their promise was vain. Now we will be paying 15 eur more for a 10x slower upload speed than we used to.
Considering legal action.

Customer service
They look only hired people who cannot speak English for the customer service.
The last update: They solved the issue and gave me a call via an English speaking customer service. Thank you

Bad service
Yes, the reviews are correct: it's that bad of a company. I get constant internet interruptions in my house, so they are not even capable of providing the most basic service: uninterrupted connection.
Stay away from Ziggo (if possible).

Ziggo charged me €45 for extra technician time without informing me beforehand or obtaining my consent.
Ziggo charged me €45 for 15 minutes of “extra labor” during a technician visit. I was never informed that exceeding the estimated 1.5 hours (mentioned in their own appointment confirmation) would incur charges. The engineer did not ask for approval or mention any cost. I was shown only a digital signature screen, with no indication that it confirmed extra payment.
I consider this to be a misleading business practice and a breach of transparency and informed consent. I have already contacted Ziggo and received a generic reply stating that the costs are “correct” but did not respond to my concerns about consent and prior disclosure.
I have submitted this complaint to ConsuWijzer for misleading billing and lack of consent. Consumers deserve transparency. I believe Ziggo repeatedly violates Dutch consumer protection principles.

Very difficult to switch from Zakelijk to Particulier
It is very difficult to switch from Ziggo Zakelijk to Ziggo Particulier. It can only be done via the phone it seems, and they will try to change your mind. For example not including the BTW amount in the phone call so it sounds like a better deal than it is.
It is the best to sa you are going to switch providers unless they switch you to Particulier.
On top of that the communication when accepting an offer from Ziggo Zakelijk is misleading. On the webpage where you accept the offer it says there is a 14 day cancellation period after accepting. But on the phone they will tell you differently.
They also don't care about consumer rights if you indicate that you mostly use your subscription for personal usage.
Also, you should not accept the device sent by post if you want to cancel. You will the receive an email that the deal is cancelled.

Verschrikkelijke ervaring met Ziggo
This is not a company, but some kind of meme
It all started with the fact that they sent an invoice twice as big as it should be
I tried to log into my account, but they have two-factor authentication in the basic version. The funny thing is that the SMS just doesn't come no matter how many times I tried. After long conversations with support, they reset the two-factor authentication. But that's not all, the application works so badly and slowly that it can take you 20 minutes to get to the invoice, because it just freezes
Another interesting feature of this company is that you can't write to them by email, or chat in the application, which does not work, or call, on which you will also spend a lot of time without result
Having gotten to the invoice in the application, it really turned out that it was 2 times higher than what was written in the contract. They simply do not take into account the discount that they themselves promise (on the site all offers are still with this discount)
After long negotiations in the chat and on the phone, we were simply told: "In our system we see full price" and we were sent to hell
Choose anyone, but not this company

No respect for consent nor privacy
I've never seen a company with this much disrespect for consent. I've been harassed by their commercial calls for years now even though I've opposed formally many times to that. I was a client once, over 7 years ago. I wasn't particularly happy. But the aftermath... I would never have shared any data with them if I had know. Never ever again will I be a customer.
Their door to door practices are also forceful and dishonest, I was shocked multiple times.

I Cried to Dashboard Confessional While Waiting for Support
The very second ODF finishes threading their sweet fiber through this neighborhood, I’m yeeting Ziggo’s cable into the abyss with the energy of a jilted 2007 MySpace user. Once upon a time Ziggo was actually a decent choice. But somewhere between the last season of Game of Thrones and whatever Netflix thinks counts as content now, they decided customer satisfaction was optional.
Paying nearly €80 for gigabit download and an upload speed that hasn’t evolved since Fall Out Boy first told us to "Dance, Dance" is giving major dial-up energy.
Until the fiber cavalry arrives, I guess I’m stuck in this overpriced, underdelivering internet purgatory. If you’re listening, Ziggo: this isn’t a phase. It’s a breakup.
P.S. Internet’s been down since Friday night with barely a peep from support. Cute for a weekend detox, less cute when Monday rolls in and you work from home.
