Just after ordering timeline was changed & it was showed that 72 minutes will be needed to deliver the order. When I tried to cancel immediately, Customer service told it’s not possible to cancel & if still I cancel it penalty will be needed.

They can’t deliver in time but want to extract money in other way.

I ordered 3 quantities of Chicken 65 from Gitech Bawarchi on the Zomato platform.
Only 1 packet of Chicken65 was delivered
When I took up the matter with Zomato, they said they had reviewed the matter and that they could do nothing about it! Don’t know who is fraud in this case, is it the hotel, delivery boy or ZOMATO for not having sufficient controls, negligence and not taking any action.

I ordered 2 loaves of bread from Brik Oven on the Zomato platform.
Only one loaf of bread was delivered
When I took up the matter with Zomato, they said they had reviewed the matter and that they could do nothing about it!
I intend to take them to the Consumers Forum and make them pay for their callous attitude.

I recently placed an order(#6965410414) on Zomato and had to cancel it shortly after. The app confirmed that the cancellation was successful, but I never received my refund. It’s been 3 days, and despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no resolution.

Their customer support was either unresponsive or gave generic replies that led nowhere. This feels like a deliberate delay tactic or even a scam. Holding on to customers’ money after canceling an order is unacceptable and unethical.

Zomato needs to take responsibility and fix these issues instead of making users chase their own money. I’m extremely disappointed and will think twice before ever using this app again. I hope others are cautious too.

I had ordered my food. I had paid after payment there said u order will be delivered in 1hr. So I canceled but still my amount not received

Zomato has a good selection of restaurants and the app is easy to use.
However , delivery delays and unresponsive customer support bring down the experience.
It's decent for regular use, but not reliable when something goes wrong

They promise a timed confidential deliver and they fail to deliver it almost 75%

Very slow, you order at 1pm and 3 hours later the food arrive, it's not worth

I think Zomato is short on staff. I ordered something from monginis. They have to pick up and deliver but they are still taking lot of time.

I have placed an order from Zomato at 12.30 pm. Now its 4.09 pm, they could deliver the order. Rather they were continuously delaying the order. I called up the restaurant like 10-15 times. They didn't received my calls, instead they were continuously delaying the order. Now after 3-4 hours, they have cancelled the order. Its an festival in Bengal, I have ordered food to celebrate the occasion. Now when the entire family was waiting empty stomach, they cancelled the order. We are having lunch at 4.15 pm. Zomato provided me a coupon code of 1100, but I didnt want that, I just wanted food.

My question to Zomato is that how these small restaurants get this much of audacity. Because of encouragement from you. Even the customer support executive of Zomato was continuously requesting us not to cancel the order, they are giving special attention and will make sure to deliver the order.

After so much harassment, they are still listing the restaurant as a good one.

I have order by mistakly so within 10 sec i m going to cancel but then i see if i cancel they are charging us the full amount what the hell this company is fraud

They are looting people in the name of delivery. When I cancelled the order as it was very far from my place what they did is charged the full amount in the name of compensation. When I request the customer support she was completely deaf and dumb when I share my experience with her upfront she told compensation and close the query. At least Swiggy will refund the amount not like zomato to charged and loot the people in the name of compensation that too whole amount. Irresponsible and looting us

Food and delivery charges plus plat form fees.
Food quality is bad and over charged on ZOMATO.
Why so much extra?

IF THE HEAD OF ANY COMPANY IS SINCERE AND HONEST EVERY OTHER PERSON DOWN TO THE LOWEST WILL BE WHICH SADLY IS NOT THE CASE WITH MR DEEPINDER GOYAL FOUNDER/CEO OF ZOMATO.COM

Very bad experience wid zomato. No proper resolution. I recommend Swiggy and other platforms for food delivery.

Utter scam. I joined through a promotion and got charged which wasn’t supposed to be the case. There’s no number to speak with someone and emails get no reply. Now I stand the risk of getting auto renewed despite me wanting to cancel. Don’t waste your money

I like Zomato services - they are prompt and transparent. I'm not too happy with so many different fees that they charge (platform fee, delivery fee, packing charges, GST etc etc)

The worst ever application in the world is zomato . Shame on you people to introduce such a thing. The first class fraud and scam they r, moreover they have the worst customer service and application launch
