Cheater Host | Provided MT (manual) car instead of AT as listed

I rented a Renault Triber from Delhi airport for a week, expecting an automatic transmission (AT) car as listed. However, the host, Mr. Prem, provided a manual transmission car instead. This deception has been noted by multiple other users in their reviews of the host. It is concerning that such dishonest practices persist on Zoomcar's platform. If Zoomcar values its reputation, immediate action should be taken to blacklist this host. Attached are my review and those of other users, underscoring this fraudulent behavior.

The worst Host experience

The worst Host experience, my car got an accident I was trying to repair through zoom car but I am not able to contact customer care through calls/ chat. For damage repair they need email copy, but I am not able to register my email. worst service,worst experience. I don't recommend for car hosting/rental on zoom car.

Completely cheated

The offers shows while booking that vehicle drop and pickup at airport is free. While I called the host he refused as he didn’t opt for it. Therefore I had to cancel it within couple of mins. And they refused to refund a single penny in couple of mins for their own fault. To me it is cheating and classic case to go for consumer court for justice!

Review of Recent Car Rental

**Review of Recent Car Rental Experience with Zoomcar**

My recent experience with Zoomcar left much to be desired. Upon arrival to pick up the rental car, it was nowhere to be found at the designated location. The host informed us that the vehicle was unavailable due to tire replacement, indicating poor maintenance practices. Despite reaching out to Zoomcar for assistance, we were directed to raise a ticket, which unfortunately went unanswered for three days, highlighting a severe lack of customer service.

Interaction with Zoomcar's call center proved equally futile, with agents unable to provide any meaningful assistance beyond stating their inability to help. False claims about the car's availability further eroded trust in the company's integrity, as discrepancies between agent statements and the app's information became apparent.

Technical issues compounded the ordeal, preventing us from extending the rental period, subsequently subjecting us to exorbitant surcharges at triple the hourly rate. Zoomcar's adherence to policies, seemingly crafted to absolve them of accountability, only exacerbated the situation.

The inclusion of a blacklisted FASTag resulted in doubled toll charges at every plaza, further highlighting the company's negligence in ensuring a seamless rental experience. Attempts to address these issues with both the host and Zoomcar were met with evasion of responsibility, leaving us stranded without recourse.

The vehicle's poor mileage, averaging only 10km per liter, added to our dissatisfaction. Despite our grievances, the host remained unresponsive until prompted by our departure from the agreed-upon fuel level. Their reliance on intermediaries further hindered resolution efforts, as neither the host nor their representative offered meaningful assistance.

In conclusion, my inaugural experience with Zoomcar was overwhelmingly negative, leading me to unequivocally advise against patronizing their services to friends and family. The company's disregard for customer satisfaction, coupled with systemic issues and evasive practices, tarnishes their reputation as a reliable car rental aggregator.

Worst company

Worst company, useless, irresponsible service. Bloody people, Cannot call customer care or talk to anyone.also cars are in worst condition and we cannot even open car lock . Without opening how can we drive the car? Waste of time..faced this issue while I wanted to attend an important function..cars are full of dents and scratches. Worst rental company

Worst service and their policies are a scam

Car delivered was very dirty and customer service did not respond on call. But on chat with customer service they assured refund for the additional cleaning expenses. Not only did the whole process waste my time but the reimbursement was never processed and customers service is not responding even on emails.

The worse service ever

Pending transaction was rejected, because I released how much they stolen from my account. I'm still waiting for refund weeks without response. Don't download app Zoom Cars is Scam they will take money for registering App and much more after. Don't use this Zoom Cars , Scam Services

Horrible experience DONT USE ZOOMCAR

Horrible experience DONT USE ZOOMCAR - made an expensive booking, host did not respond at all and did not pick calls, zoomcar doesnt have a customer care number and the app is pathetic, the chatbot is horrible and for no fault of mine deducted cancellation charges when the owner is at fault. Will never use or suggest their services

The person Mr.Madhan who has provided me the car i20 sportz bearing number KA 20 MD 0364 on 11th Jan in Mysore,through zoomcar app booking has looted an extra amount of 11,700 from me for 2 small scratches one on the front bumper and the other underneath the rear door( I am having the photographs of same)..stating he is going to provide me the bills so that I can get the refund as I had opted for car insurance as well during my online booking....but the guy didn't provide me any bill nor answered any of my calls and messages....very disgusting!.....the zoomcar doesn't have any platform to discuss directly with the customers through their application...only a teleprompter comes...vomits the feeded data and goes back..

The absolute worst

First things first. Before I wanted to be a host, I had queries which I wanted answered. So I looked for a helpline number. Surprise surprise. Does not exist. Asked me to download the app and chat with them. But to chat, one needs to share all the car details. Why? I’m still inquiring. Why should I share personal information with a company I may not want to do business with? Irrespective, I do it. And then still no help. It’s the worst. As a customer and a host. Don’t go to a business so unethical they cannot even help you. Now, I am trying to delete my account. But cannot. My car is listed without getting any information from zoom. It’s terrible.

FRAUD !

FRAUD !! FRAUD !! FRAUD !!!
Worst service and support. It's fraud company. My car broke down in trip and is in garage from 3 months. And now they are denying to repair because repair expenses is 50k above. Fraud company... They never contacted or replied to any ticket. Tyre and Battery is new, due to this delay it might got damaged already.. Garage also stole original parts of car..
Very pathetic and non sense service.
Who will bear this expenses. Fraud.. Fruad... Fruad.. Company.. Don't let your car or hire from Zoom car

JPSNI3VSH - Prithvi - DREADFUL AND DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE

I hired a vehicle in Delhi through Zoomcar (my first time) to drive to Dehradun. However, before travelling, I admit I did not check in the boot that the spare tyre was in good condition, trusting that the vehicle owner gave me the car in good working order. The car had recently been in an accident (so I was informed by the owner), and the right rear panel and lights were damaged. I did take video footage of the vehicle before my departure.

Upon arrival at my destination (300km away), my friend noted that the right rear tyre was one of the small emergency tyres and was not in good condition. When I checked in the boot for the spare tyre, I found that the spare tyre was damaged beyond repair. I phoned the owner, who told me I would have to put the invoice through Zoomcar if I bought a new tyre. Ultimately, I paid cash for a secondhand tyre as the small emergency tyre was also in a poor state of repair. I was told by the tyre repair guy that I should not be driving on it as it could blow at any time.

So, I paid cash -- and sent a photo of the transaction to the owner, who point blank refused to give me back Rs1,000 and again maintained that I had to go through Zoomcar.

When I returned to Delhi and met with the owner, I told him he was irresponsible and risked my life by giving me an unsafe vehicle to drive. He blamed me and told me it was my fault for not reading the Zoomcar policies and that I should have checked in the boot before taking the vehicle.

Secondly, I delivered the car at 9pm BEFORE the 11pm drop-off time indicated in the booking. I have now found a notice that I have to pay an "Unapproved Extension Fee" of Rs590.

There is no way to contact any help - as it keeps defaulting to the "Unapproved Extension Fee" payment page, of which there is NO extension fee because I returned the car at 9pm. However, the "completed" section on Zoomcar indicates that I returned the car at 1115pm, which is untrue, and only the owner could have put this time. I have requested that he amend it, but this has not happened to date.

There is nowhere to lodge a formal complaint against the owner for knowingly giving me a vehicle with an unusable spare tyre and for refusing to refund the Rs1,000 I had to pay to replace the dangerous small emergency tyre.

This was a dreadful experience, primarily because my life was put in danger by a man who was more interested in making Rs14,000 than caring about the safety of his client.

Pathetic, useless, very poor,miserable zoomcar service for Damaged

Our car got damaged by customer and who has taken zoomcar insurance due to that still our car is parked at zoomcars listed garage.
I have already dropped the car at zoomcar listed garage but he needs block id to share estimation with zoomcar and zoomcar replying that they need estimation first and then zoomcar will provide the block id.... is this our job to do the followup for all this stuff... it should be zoomcars responsibility and we are wating for all this nonsense from 7 days. Still haven't received any reply from customer service team.

Its all a scam

Its all a scam! SCAM ALERT!
This company is a pure scam founded by 2 Americans and looting Indians. I booked a vehicle and they needed prepayment which I did. A night before I get a message saying the car is not available and they DO NOT have a freaking customer service number. What a joke when you leave customer stranded for hours and no one to reach to. You are going to doom very soon. All the 5 star ratings are fake, its pure marketing and no service, no customer support, its worst of all!!!!

Zoom cars doesn't care

Booked a car by paying full amount and reached the pick up location, my documents were still not verified and was running into some issue with the document verification. Could not find the vehicle at the location, pinged the owner several times but there was no response. Waited for several hours in the scorching sun without any resolution. There was no way I could reach zoom car or the owner...it was frustrating and I had no other choice other than to come back to my hotel without the car. I see there is no compitition to zoom cars hence they don't care. I lost my money, time and would never hire zoom cars again.
