Pathetic car. Pathetic Service

I booked a Celerio Automatic for one day (booking ID: JPSNCXE0M) and was appalled both by the condition of the car as well as the service by Zoomcar.

I booked the car for 4pm on August 5th and it was delivered by the host on time, and this was the only good thing that came from it.

I reached a petrol bunk an hour later and was told that there’s a green liquid coming from the car, and upon inspection, I realised the coolant was leaking from the hood and through to the road.

I called up the host and he told me to make some adjustments to the car - why would I have to do this when I’ve paid Rs 6824 hoping for a car in good condition. I asked him to come and collect the car and he did so after about one and a half hour of making me wait in the petrol pump. He said that I will be refunded by Zoomcar.

It took Zoomcar about 4 days to refund me Rs 3731 which means they charged me Rs 3093 for driving the car for one hour - which is basically stealing money in my opinion.

Based on my experience, I would never recommend that anyone uses Zoomcar. Terrible experience.

I have been facing issues since 5…

I have been facing issues since 5 months and still there is no resolution for my concerns. There has been only automated emails and they are not bothered about the customer but they still call to ask why are we not listing the vehicle. A customer damaged my vehicle fendor, body, tyre, for which i spent around 20 k and they haven't supported a penny on this. I have evidence of all this emails and screenshot of their fake promises. Never ever attach your vehicle's to zoom ever. They are just good for nothing and scamming people. Zoom cars is a complete fraud. I am attaching some of the proofs here so that people believe that zoom cars is the worse.

Worst car service.

Worst car service.
Making money by fooling people.
I have booked a car but car is not available at the location.
tried rescheduling the booking tried booking three different car but none of the car is a the location nor the customer car and host picks the call.
Nice startup to earn money.!!!!!!!

On 14th July 2023

On 14th July 2023, Host has called us at 13.00hrs. and conveyed that the Car will be delayed and will be ready only by 15.30hrs instead of 14.00hrs. AS the host was trying to replace the headlights. However, we reached the Host’s location at 15.00hrs which was 14Km away from our residence and noticed that all four tires of the Car were in very bad shape particularly there were no treads were found on both the rear tires and were in unshaped which could not be used for longer trip especially in rain. The host has not come forward to replace the unshaped tires and even for replacement of alternate vehicle and we were standing there for more than 3 hours with our family members. He simply left the place by saying cancel the trip and book another car. We tried our level best to contact Zoom car Customer care Service but everything went vain, no one could be contacted. Then we tried to get the alternate vehicle by using the Zoom car.com, but it was showing very old car which was 20Km away from that location. We were puzzled to get the alternate vehicle and could not close the trip. We tried to cancel the trip but we were charged more than what we paid for the car. We were charged even when we selected “Host denied the car” or “Car is in a bad condition” option during cancellation. Somehow, we managed to arrange a Car from our friend’s circle and left the Host’s location by 18.30hrs. After one hour, to our surprise, we could receive a message as “Your trip JPSNCFC3X has successfully started. Please ensure that you return the car by 18.07.2023, 10.00PM to avoid late charges”. Then immediately we closed the trip by using the Zoomcar app. We have not even completed the formalities of taking photos in front of Car and showing the license of the person who supposed to drive the vehicle and not even we opened the car. So, without using the car how it is possible to start the trip? This it has created a lot of mental agony and disappointment to me and as well as to my family members, all responsibility stands on Zoom Car Service Provider only because we were not known the Host prior to that, only believing Zoom car, we booked the vehicle and made online payment for Rs.16, 650/-. There were no number or email id to contact Zoomcar. We wonder how could we have possibly reached out to Zoomcar in case of an emergency like an accident or a vehicle break down? We were receiving only WhatsApp messages and unable to contact Zoom car Customer care, no one is lifting the calls, we feel it is one kind of cheating because after receiving the payment on online, the Zoom Car Service provider is not showing any interest to sort out the problems faced by the customers. "WE LOST ALL OUR MONEY!" And we expect a call back ASAP! In this context, I am expecting a responsible answer and return of full payment made towards the same from Zoom Car Service Provider.

Zoom car Daylight legitimate robers.

Zoom car did not provide the service and later refuses to refund the Money. Saying that I didnt not go to pick up what a joke and shame that you cant do much as the What's app messages that come to you while paying money are not replied to what there is no car at the said location and the email on the what's app profile is unmonitored and the phone number there is not in use. LOL so one way comms.
good luck finding customer care number on their website too... amazed to see that the team wants call logs of call made to an not in use number as it seems that they do not refund or support if we do not call and give proof of the same + emails aren't a medium of communication for logging refund request aghast how such companies are prevalent in India

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. Worst customer support. JPSNCTM7Z. Was given a car with damaged front tyre. Even the spare tyre was damaged. Both Zoomcar support and owner told to get the tyre repaired promising the bill will be reimbursed. Also promised that the drop off time will be extended to compensate for the time lost in repairing. Even after uploading the bill and repair video, there is no response from Zoomcar support, except for the scripted response closing the ticket without resolving.

HORRIBLE AND PATHETIC!

Not trustworthy at all!

We booked a Renault Kwid 2020 (JPSNCDIVJ) GJ06PD4644 for the duration of May 27th 2023 6:00 PM onwards till June 3rd 10:00PM.

When we went to pick up the car, it has a small crack on the windshield, we took photos of it and uploaded it on their website. The next we noticed that the crack has slightly increased and immediately reported it to zoom car customer support. They gave the solution to return the car to the own and end the trip and that the payment for the remaining days would be refunded in 7 working days.

This happened on May 29th 2023. We returned the car to the owner at 2:00PM and ended the trip.

Since then I have emailed them multiple times, daily actually have shared the images of the damage which was already there and all they do is just send a canned response staring to wait for 48 -72 hours and the refund will be initiated.

It's has been more than 2 weeks now that they have not done anything about it and no refunded is issued.

They just keep postponing the process.

They are a totally untrustworthy service.

Please do not loose your money to them. They do not return your money.

I am still communicating with their team and it's a frustrating process.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ANS A TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

SCAM COMPANY - Zero Service

SCAM in the making.

No contact number to connect when vehicle breaks down. HOST gave car with worn out tyres to put blame on us and get money.
Stranded on highway at midnight with family and nobody answered our calls. ZOOMCAR support is automated and only raises ticket which it will never update on.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Horrible Experience

We booked a Renault Kwid (Registration Number: UP53 CJ 6484) on 25 May 2023 (Booking ID: JPSNCD5DO).

When we reached to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle was not in good condition and the fast tag was missing. The back gear was not working properly and engine had some kind of noice. We asked the car owner about this issue but she assured us about the fitness of the vehicle. After the assurance of vehicle owner, we started our journey.

Within a couple of hours, the engine got seized and the car stopped at the middle of the highway. We approached to the local machanic for the solution. After checking the car, mechanic informed us that the car was not serviced since a long time and the engine oil was nil, due to which the engine go seized. After this, we immediately informed Zoomcar on chatbot and called the car owner. Nobody helped us and hence we have to left the vehicle after the local Zoomcar person told us that he will make arrangements to pickup the vehicle.

Our trip changed into a horrible incidence and we had to bear a great business loss. Please issue the FULL REFUND as the car was not fit for driving. This is a kind of cheating and harrasment for us.

We have a team of advocates and I will file a lawsuit if Zoomcar denies the refund.

Terrible Serive

If you don't want to ruin your day, do not book with this company. Terrible client service. Police came. This company has hiden fee. Your credit card insurance won't be covered as the rep at the desk told me. I agreed to add an insurance because i needed a car. I told the rep at least three times but it seems he thought he was in charge of the situation. He forced me to call my credit card insurance and I did. He interupted me during my call with the insurance and printed out my credit card insurance policy and tried to explain to me. I was like? I told you to just add the insurance and give me a car earlier? just made thing complicated and he told me. i will not offer you a car because of my attitute. I was like? is it a joke?? I tried to call client care on the website but all phone calls went to their desk and they hanged up in front of me. I paid the rental fee a day before and now i couldn't get a car after spending 45 mins in front of the desk. He threated me that he would call police if i didnt leave. I told him that i would stay until police comes. This is a fraud. unfortunately, police came but coudn't do much about for me. They suggested to submit complaint to the company where i paid the fee and write a review, so people can advoid this rental company.
Again, if you dont want to ruin your day. dont book with this company.

Cheaters duping Customers, need refund now

I would have given ratings in minus if it were possible. They have such a pathetic service and no support for customer. They don’t really have policy. Their business should be shut. I booked 2 cars and both the cars weren’t available at the designated location. Owner stopped picking up call after reaching to the place of pick up. There is no call support and I got stuck in limbo after wasting lot of money. I need refund now, how can you dupe customers with their money?

I would never recommend use a zoomcar

I would never recommend use a zoomcar, they use 3rd party cars for rentals and the condition of the cars are not good to drive. I had to return my car on the second day for 2 weeks booking but they did not refund my booking amount despite promised by their customer care executive. After doing a continuous follow up no response from their customer care team. There is no way you can talk to these guys and they never respond to any emails. It’s a worst experience and I would never recommend to use their services.

This service is completely worst and…

This service is completely worst and scam. I was not able to open the car with the application and had to wait for 2 hours, because of an issue with the car sensor. But they charge me for all the time. Top of that they have forcefully applied fuel charges on my expense. The most worst part is they don't have a support to call you can only chat with them

Zoomcar is worst looting money from…

Zoomcar is worst looting money from public and host program. worst experience worst policies. My new car got accident 10 months past raised ticket 1176492 but no use. I am paying emi back to back still repairs not started and no compensation received with zoomcars. Customer care never respond properly if they respond also tells story as our fuc… concern team is working from last 10 months. Dont share any cars to zoomcar they are frauds, cheaters, bloody buggers.

HORRIBLE & PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very recently I had booked a ZoomCar from Kochi airport. The booking was done almost 2 months in advance with full payment. At the time of booking, I was told that car pickup and drop will be from Kochi airport. After reaching the airport and searching the car for 40 mins, I finally decided to call the customer service helpline. The CSR informed me that ZoomCar has stopped pickup and drop services from the airport, and that I need to go to the owners place to get the car. Then upon asking the location of the owner, I was informed that the original car (which I had paid for 2 months in advance) was not available and I had to book a different car for more money. I was assured that taxi fare will be reimbursed by ZoomCar, but to my surprise nothing is reimbursed by them. After several follow-up emails & calls to the CSR, my reimbursement request is closed without any update.

WORST SERVICES - WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN.
