Zoosk is quite frustrating to use

Zoosk is quite frustrating to use. It is easily to prove they fill your View file with fake views from over 300 miles away from you, or even longer distances. I set my distance limit to 100 miles, yet get fake Views from as much as 2300 miles away. They consciously do this. I have contacted these profiles and they didn't view me at all. Zoosk makes it so easy for scammers to join up. A stolen picture, and a few mouse clicks are all you need to join. If Zoosk required you to type your Story, and required more than one picture, that would help tremendously. The misspellings and bad grammar used by those people would defeat their purpose. I would not waste one second on a profile like that. Because Zoosk doesn't require a Story, any scammer can sign up in seconds. Sincere people will type in their Story and maybe an Ice Breaker, and will have more than one photo. Zoosk has not made even one improvement since I joined. So much for their dedication to improve over the long haul. I paid a lot of money to use this service, and it's not really productive. The money I've paid them is good, but sadly their product is not. Not a fair exchange of my good money for their partially dishonest service. I can't wait for their canned, pre-cooked response.

Wrongfully blocked

Wrongfully blocked. Subscribed for years and then got blocked when I reported someone for asking for money. They have no phone number and no means to contest being blocked. Whats worse they don't give you back the unused portion of your subscription

Mixed good & bad results

I like the ease of using the site and that it seemed to have a lot of members in my area. It was clear to me that some of the “views” that it indicated that I had were not really sent by another member. More than once, when I sent a message from some of my “views” the person would send me a message that she had never visited my profile. She confirmed that she had noticed that the same problem before. To be honest, I felt that this was a marketing ploy that was possibly done to make the it look like there is more activity than there actually was in order to promote more use & subscription renewals. This made me distrust the information that I received and was the primary reason that I did not renew.

I was suddenly blocked from the site…

I was suddenly blocked from the site and issued a refund with no explanation what so ever. Prior to this I had stopped receiving e-mail notices from the site and was speaking to customer service through their e-mail. Prior to that I had complained I wasn't getting the verification mail when trying to log in. They manually got me in on that occasion. It was next day I told them I still wasn't getting e-mails notices, the next morning I was blocked and refunded. Apparently if you complain too much they deem you don't deserve to meet anyone. Just put up with their poor site and don't complain or you're gone. What kind of people do this??? Why can't they fix their tech issues?
Highly recommend you steer clear of this one. They have bad tech, and admin with bad attitudes.

I've been unceremoniously blocked

I have been working with the Zoosk website for at least 6 months. I had just renewed my subscription when I was unceremoniously and with out any explanation blocked. I contacted their customer service and the only thing they said is that there inconsistencies. They asked for me to prove who I was by sending my drivers license which I did right away. The next communication said I have to contact a different customer service which I did. AND now nothing for days.

I found my perfect partner in life. It’s not an easy thing but if you have a good profile with good and real photos of yourself, there are better possibilities of finding the right one. You also need to be very picky and only communicate with those that take their time to write a profile and have photos of themselves.

Scammer

Joined the website 2 years ago. not only members from other dating sites were entering this websites but when i tried to cancel and it did not work, i was still paying....after many emails to explained the situation, i was still being deducted money . i also was at the end of my debit card, got a new one and they were still debiting the monthly charges!...... I managed to block the charges only by phoning my bank who blocked the direct debit. Was a very scary experience! That makes Zoosk a fraud.
