Professional, speedy and quality.

I ordered from Wylies Outdoor World recently and would 100% shop there again. Fairly priced items, quick delivery and a professional service. I also thought it was a very personal and lovey touch from the owner Drew Wylie to send a personal email about how much he appreciated my custom. I purchased some Keela trousers for work and have been very happy with my purchase. A happy blue light worker. Highly recommended 👍

Great customer service and products

Fantastic service, purchased a Keela Talus jacket which is excellent quality. Needed to swap for another size which was very simple and easy to do and I was kept up to date along the process. Will definitely buy again from here. Thanks

Excellent quality

Excellent quality, along with perfect packaging. Very comfortable. Definitely a premium item of clothing.

A personal shopping experience

Purchasing through this small business has been such an easy process and a very pleasant experience. I had questions regarding female sizes, and I got all the support I needed in a timely manner. A very friendly owner and great service! I will definitely return to purchase other items in the future.
Also, the black labbie photo really sealed the deal. I hope he helped pack the order!

Careful with this seller!!

Unfortunately I've had to give poor feedback to this company. Something that I have never done.
The communication was initially good with an email saying that it had been dispatched and thanking me for the purchase etc.
The communication was OK until a return for refund was politely requested.
This was when the seller went quiet and no longer wanted to respond or offer any explanation if there was a reason they couldn't refund. After repeated polite requests for him to issue a refund and being ignored I had to open a case with paypal. Thank god I used PayPal.
I was then given a refund with there assistance.
The seller continued to post there business on Facebook whilst my emails were ignored. Use another company. All good until there's a problem or refund is requested.

this review is quite "liberal" and misleading with the facts.

Chris ordered an item and then returned it for an exchange. this was done quickly and efficiently with constant communication throughout.

Chris then returned that item for an exchange again, this was handled in the same manner as his initial return.

Some time had passed because Chris chose to ignore the invoice for his second return shipping which didn't help identify the issues that would follow.

We have 3 returns on our system for Chris. Despite the product pages having detailed and accurate information regarding sizes.

Chris changed his mind on the 3rd item.

Chris was a little impatient regarding refunds, I did refund him for his final return within the window stated in our returns policy.

Because Chris had me, and our system "jumping through so many hoops" because he didn't take his wife's measurements. My system refused the refund because it thought he had already been refunded, twice.

I received no alert from my system or PayPal because so many swaps and changes had happened. This left me quite a complex issue to resolve.

Chris emailed me over the weekend very early Sunday morning while we were always closed. I responded to Chris at 1:30 am on a Sunday morning.

Chris opened a case and then immediately escalated it. His refund was due to be processed the following working day (Monday) when we opened. Because I had spent the majority of my own time that weekend troubleshooting what had caused the issue. His issue was not resolved with PayPal's assistance as he suggested.

It was me, working during my time off to resolve it for him.

No one ignored his emails or messages. Facebook posts are scheduled 1 month in advance. I do this personally, to allow me time to respond to customers and my daily duties of running Wylie's Outdoor World. I work alone. Being the sole point of contact for all our customers is very time-consuming. I do social media posts in bulk and schedule them throughout the following 30 days to free my time to support customers daily.

This unpleasant situation for both the customer and us (the retailer) could have easily been avoided if the customer had taken the time to read the product info, accurate sizing information, and measured his wife prior to placing multiple orders. Multiple returns wouldn't have been necessary. Also, the failed refund issue that manifested itself because of so many swaps and changes would never have occurred.

I process returns, and exchanges on a daily basis.
In 10 years I had not encountered this issue. As the owner of the company, I have a responsibility to ensure I eliminate the possibility of the same issue reoccurring.

We were left with 3 excess jackets, valued at over £100 each. A lot of wasted time tracking what has caused the issue. With a Paypal case, and a negative review for our efforts.

Thanks for your initial business Chris, I am inclined to agree that in the future you should use another retailer.

I am always happy to accept reviews, good or bad... as long as they are honest and accurate. Things don't always go to plan, that is the nature of every business. What should be measured is the manner any company resolves problems when they do occur, whether they are responsible or not.

If you do leave a review, maintain your integrity. Be honest and forthcoming with the facts. Do not "cherry-pick" parts out of context that serve to absolve you of any responsibility while painting a poor picture of a retailer with the intention of damaging their livelihood. That kind of nonsense I won't tolerate.

If you had ordered with a little more care, I assure you your experience would have been a pleasant one.

Excellent trousers as I am an Emergency Service worker and needed some new kit and KEELA are a known product and decently priced.
NO FAULT of Wylies, however I did have a few “parcel delays” with DPD which is completely out of the Drew’s control.
Will order again when I need more outdoor kit.
