Good app and support

I had a few issues during onboarding, but the team was very responsive and the actual account works well and the app is nice.

XAPO BANK: PURE RIP-OFF

Tried to open an account and immediately ran into basic onboarding issues.

First, the signup flow repeatedly threw a generic “Something seems wrong. Please contact support…” message with no actionable explanation.

Then I tried registering with a different email address and was told that “.inc is not a valid TLD.” That’s simply incorrect — .inc is a valid top-level domain. If a company charging around €1,000 per year can’t get something as fundamental as email validation right, it is pure rip-off and doesn’t inspire confidence in their systems, compliance process, or support quality.

Between the vague errors, the incorrect validation, and the “contact support” dead-end, this feels less like a premium banking service and more like a rip-off.

Based on this experience, I recommend avoiding Xapo.

Takes forever to get anywhere with this bank

Very slow with deal with anything. Reported a fraud 6/ 7 weeks ago and they are very slow with dealing with it wish I never opened my account. I get no updates unless I enquire about it . Will be closing this account very soon this account costs me £750+ wish I never opened it . All you get when someone contacts you is bank speak and fake concern and push around from on person then another person . Sick of repeating my self on that chat app you can't talk to a person it's all that chat app now . If you want to talk to a person you have to make a dam appointment.

Security protocols

All transactions using debit cards have been confirmed within minutes thereby monitoring card usage and providing excellent level of security and confirming the banks security systems established to protect clients funds.

I find the product very expensive. Every operation has considerable fees. I consider they should be cutted at least half.
