I love barefoot shoes, I bought a pair of xero shoes a few years back and liked them, that's why I bought these last ones, but they were way too big and had to send them back. They chared me 15.00eur to send them back. I will never be buying xero shoes again.

As for their shoes: they are narrow and uncomfortable, they squeeze my toes and I don't have wide feet. These are NOT barefoot shoes :(

UPDATE I have received the refund on 5 February 2026. Although it took way too long in my opinion, I am happy this is taken care of. The employee was professional in the communication and has kept his word, I appreciate that.
I placed an order (€235,-) last Monday evening and realized I made a mistake. First thing next morning I called with the customer support and I explained the situation. The employee was very cooperative and we agreed on a refund so I could place a new order once I had received the refund. The money was supposed to be expected on my bankaccount the next day, but that wasn't the case. Since Tuesday I tried to get in contact with the customer support via telephone, but after selecting option 1 for English the line continuously got disconnected.
In addittion I also tried to get in touch via email. They asked me for an order number, but I never received an order confirmation. After that it's still quiet.
I am not pleased with this customer experience and I hope this will be solved quickly and that I will receive my refund.
I ordered the wrong size and noticed immediately, so I emailed their support email. It's been 11 working days and I still haven't received a response.
First and last purchase from them.
Long-time customer here – I’ve bought more than 10 pairs from Xero Shoes EU over the years – and unfortunately their service has declined dramatically in the last year. Their return and refund system is unreliable and extremely slow, written promises about timelines are not respected, and overall customer communication feels dismissive and neglectful.
The shoes themselves are comfortable and the concept is good, but in my experience the build quality has noticeably degraded over the last 1–2 years, while prices have increased sharply. At this point, for the same money, I would recommend looking at brands that manufacture in Europe rather than mass-produced shoes from China.

I am satisfied with the shoes. They are comfortable barefoot shoes and I like them. They are manufactured in China; for the price, they could be manufactured in Europe, but that is just my personal preference. I would give the shoes themselves 5 stars.
What I am not satisfied with is the service. It is by far the worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered two different pairs and, as I didn't like one of them, I wanted to send it back.
There is a portal for returns where you should register the return, but the portal doesn't work! Since May (today is mid-September)!!! I have written to Xero Support several times and have always been told that they are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. Once it is fixed, my return period will be extended and I will be able to return the item.
I can't imagine that something as essential as returns at an online store wouldn't work for months. To me, it looks more like a scam, with the store hoping that most customers will eventually give up and keep their goods anyway.
Poor quality product. I bought a couple of pairs of mens shoes last year and it was fine for the first 6 months, after which the inside of the shoes started peeling off even on regular use and with proper care. The shoes themselves were expensive and so I presumed they sold quality product, but it did not seem like that. I then made a request to help with a repair, but they came back saying they do not repair the product. At that point the shoes were less than 2 years old, so I asked them even if it does not come under warranty (which it should), can it be repaired so I don't have to waste it to a landfill, but they came back with a counter offer of 30% on the next pair of shoes which I felt was not the proper solution, they were indirectly forcing me to throw away a pair of shoes for new ones. I am not sure how they could have a business model like this selling into Europe where there is a right to repair legislation and 2 year warranty period. I would not recommend the product for its quality (I could get similar pair of shoes for much cheaper from other common brand stores) and the logistics around it if the shoes get bad after 6-9 months.
One of the shoes I received last Friday is dented at the toe, as if a circle has been punched into it. I immediately e-mailed to the support address, but have not received a response yet. Chat messages on the website are also not answered. When I indicate on the website that I want to exchange the shoes I ordered on May 7, the website indicates that this is no longer possible because the 45-day period has expired. It is May 20. Cuckoo!
So now I am stuck with a pair of shoes that I cannot wear and cannot return, because then I have to pay for the shipping and I also do not trust the company anymore.
Amazing experience with this company. Helpful and kind customer support and they respond so quickly. I swear I get a reply within minutes!
Orders are always shipped fast and they handle returns and refunds quickly.
Top service!
No customer service and no refund! I ordered a pair of shoes but they didn't fit as expected so I decided to return them. I did everything in the returns portal and shipped them away almost a month ago. I haven’t even got a reply to my e-mail and can't even call them on the given phone number!! No tracking available on the website. I guess they just stole my money.
Don’t bother buying! Terrible customer care and return experience, worse than Temu…
I don’t really know where to start as there’s so many potential improvement points (speaking proactively). First I need to pinpoint that I had a pretty okay experience purchasing my first barefoot shoes from Xero Shoes (3 pairs) two years ago, probably because I hadn’t the need of returning anything. The warranty on the soles are ok but one my shoes (Trail runners) needed quickly to be reglued on the top of the toe box. Not great but I didn’t felt it was worth being negative as it could be just my shoes or the way I used them, even if I didn’t run on trails at all. I am not a typical negative reviewer, I mostly review when I am happy.
BUT gosh this time purchasing a pair of sandals which came with wrong fit (even if I followed all their advices, printed footprints etc)… summery everything is extremely complicated and customer care don’t care nor read/listen to the poor experience you are encountering.
- Shipping is due both on order and retur (twice) and never refundable even if there’s a sizing issue not due to customer
- For return expect full return (not shipping) only 14 days even if it states 90 days return right.
- For return nothing is automatic but you have to go through many steps, read a lot of b….it, print your own label and expect money back 10 working days AFTER they potentially receive your return. This is crapier than Temu here in Sweden. All company here offer free easy return (including shipping) and printing labels go through parcels point with a QR cod.
I have much more details about all I got through with Jan from their customer care but I will spare your time. My time is precious and all in all it took me two weeks to finally send back the sandals, including hours of small doings and communication.
REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND THE CEO VIDEOS feel so wrong and misleading at the end. Will never buy again unless they really make a true customer gesture and change their policies for good.
Had an issue with my Prios. After two years of ownership they were immediately replaced with a new pair - no (well, just a few...) questions asked.
Remarkable after sales service. Fast, honest, reliable. Clearly worth all five stars.
Shoes excellent, delivery bad. Already bought two pairs from them and both were excellent quality, but it's quite unfortunate that they had to use GLS for delivery, which is one of the worst delivery service providers in Europe. I had problems with their delivery in both cases.

No customer service and no refund! I ordered a pair of boots but they didn't fit as expected so I decided to return them. I did everything in the returns portal and shipped them away on December 11. By the tracking feature of the returns portal it seems they were delivered on December 15. but I still (on February 13th) haven't received any e-mails about them being refunded neither the actual refund itself and it has been almost two months now! The website states "we strive to process all exchange/return requests within 10 business days of receipt” - I haven’t even got a reply to my e-mail (sent to ask about the refund more than ten days after they received the boots) let alone a refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I've got 2 pairs of Xero shoes. They both fit very well and the build quality seems high.
Unfortunately the sole of one of the shoes came loose. Might have been a production error. Customer service provided excellent service to resolve the issue. I'm very happy with such service, even 1 year after I bought them.
The other pair is still going strong!
I already had couple of Xero shoes purchased elsewhere and I really like them. Last time I ordered from xeroshoes.eu and everything was okay. Fast delivery, size as expected, quality perfect.
Shoes with a beautiful design, however the quality of the Denver Leather leaves something to be desired. When they arrived, the color of the two boots was different, there was glue residue between the leather and the sole and after 2 months the sole started to come off. The solution given by the brand to repair the situation is not viable. They demanded that I send the damaged boot, at my cost, they would analyze the defect and then they would decide what to do. I think the products are expensive for the quality and support provided.

I'm saddened to hear about the others' bad experience with Xero however my experience was one of the best.
After some digging I decided to order the Prios on a Friday night. They were quick to process this order and GLS managed to deliver the shoes on Wednesday (3 working days).
My shoe size across a collection of Vans slip ons, Converse All Stars, Nike Air Force 1's is EU 42.5, UK 9 so I ordered them 42.5 as their website suggested sticking to my usual size. They're a perfect fit. (Although the UK size on the box is indicated to be 8.5 which gave me a bit of a scare and perhaps this was the reason the customer from Ireland wasn't happy with the size)
These are my first barefoot shoes therefore I can't speak to whether they're narrower than usual although there's a fair number of videos on the internet talking about the width of these shoes and they seem satisfied with the proportions.
I also haven't had to get in touch with their support team so I won't be able to comment on that.
A little note about GLS: I'm usually fairly satisfied with GLS deliveries. This time I had to change the delivery address to a pick up point and that was very easy to do through the email GLS sent. However GLS didn't notify me when the package was available at the pick up point so if this happens to you go there regardless and collect your package.
I ordered two pairs of their shoes expecting normal fit like my Vivobarefoot and Altra shoes, they have a zero drop, but I was surprised after a walk around the house that they're way narrower than a normal barefoot shoes. I contacted customer service so that I can return them but the answer was either a 100% credit to use on the shop (which I don't want because of the fit) or a 70% refund because the shoes are worn! Excluding paying for shipping twice.
I ordered running shoes on xero website in may, unfortunately the size didn’t match, there shoes are much smaller then the usual measure.
I did take time to process exchange because they answer in a weeks, in 2-3 weeks I’ve got new box from them but the size of shoes inside the box was wrong, I have exchanged for 37 woman and they did send 39,5 for man.
I did signal strength away by mail and form on website no one didn’t reply me, after a week i just receive automatic message that they have very high standards blabla and they will deal very fast and I just need to send wrong size box and I’ll have new one with my size very fast.
I did send next day and send a tracking number. They never answered. Then they did receive it after 4 days but no one still answering me, I keep sending a mails. But no money, no shoes which I needed for competition training from 1 July.
The worst service you can imagine. It’s July in few days.
So if don’t want to loose few month to get a shoes then maybe check other companies.
Still hope get money back.
