Brilliant learning providers …
I’ve just completed my Level 2 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The online course suited my learning style perfectly—easy to navigate, clear, and genuinely engaging. The videos were informative without ever feeling boring.
The in-centre practical sessions were equally enjoyable. The tutors were knowledgeable, friendly, and always approachable. Because I already had some practical experience, I was able to work through the workbook at my own pace, with plenty of helpful advice and support whenever I needed it.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this course—and the centre—to anyone considering any of the programmes they offer.

Great experience.
I completed the 2391-51 course and I had no issues with the company at all. Always answered my emails, access to the online training course was easy, and the course itself was very helpful and had knowledge checks along the way to help you know if you were ready to continue. Attending the Leeds centre to complete my exams and the staff were all really friendly and helpful, and put me at ease as I tend to get very nervous before exams.

However, we don't feel the one star review is valid.
The portfolio we use to support you for the NVQ, shows you were active on the portfolio over 950 times over the 3 years you were registered.
This was between the 17/08/2020 - 17/09/2023.
You were clearly told on email you had 3 years to complete this qualification. You then logged back in on the 01/05/2025 nearly 20 months after the completion date stating you had little support.
The assessor you had is excellent and gets 5 star reviews on a regular basis. He states the support was always there but no evidence was ever uploaded for him to check.
We were very clear when you began that you needed to take ownership of your NVQ and collecting photos is something you need to do for us to assess the work you carry out.
You were on an assessor built portfolio which means the assessor does the write ups, using the professional discussion carried out which are recorded.
Your main role is to collect good quality photos with you in and upload then to the portfolio with a short description.
There are zero photos uploaded to your portfolio.
We need to pay City and Guilds, OneFile and other bodies to register you too these qualifications.
We have made you a very good offer, of a part refund which others would definitely not do. For you to ask for £2000 back after 5 years of starting is unfair and unrealistic.

Feedback from my Assessor Muz was great, you just need to be focused , keep on top of it, and they will guide you 👍 I took the experienced worker route as been in the game 20 years. I have worked with apprentices who are already qualified thanks to xs training videos or courses. Overall good experience
My experience with xs training as a whole was really positive, although did have some bumps along the road after being unexpectedly changed assessor with no reason as to why. I don’t want to speak too much on previous assessor but my new assessor Tom was very good with communication and letting me know what was needed and when, kept to all meeting times and was clear about where I was on my journey. The team in the office were really helpful too in getting my ecs site card sorted whilst learning. All emails replied to promptly etc. very happy overall and would recommend Tom as a really good assessor who puts your mind at ease when feeling under pressure. Thanks for all your guys help

I opted to pursue my 2357 NVQ Level 3 with XS Training after perusing numerous commendations and encountering an article in the Professional Electrician and Installer magazine that lauded their demonstrable success in training. Having endured unsatisfactory experiences with prior training providers, I approached the prospect of engaging another provider with considerable trepidation.
However, upon reaching out to XS Training and engaging in a conversation with their representatives, I felt reassured and ultimately resolved to proceed with them. I enrolled in the comprehensive 2357 Gold course, which encompassed all the essential components I required to achieve my objectives. The course structure and stipulations were exceedingly informative, elucidating the pathway ahead.
My assessor, Muztaba excelled in articulating the requirements and outlining our trajectory toward completion. At various junctures throughout the course, we engaged in professional discussions regarding the evidence I had submitted. As I approached the culmination of my training, I gained access to the invaluable AM2 preparation videos, which proved to be immensely beneficial; I successfully completed my AM2 on my first attempt. Without the aid of these preparatory videos, the outcome may well have been markedly different.
Observations were conducted via Zoom meetings, during which I elucidated and demonstrated my technical proficiency and knowledge. Overall, I cannot extol XS Training highly enough; they are truly exceptional and have far exceeded my expectations.
