Great product. Detailed review of experence

I learned about XSuit and their face masks by searching online where I found an article from Money.com titled “What to Know Before Buying a Face Mask, According to Health Experts.”

The article had information from a list of different face mask companies. Using information from the article, I started researching and decided to purchase from XSuit. Here was my experience from ordering to delivery of my purchase:

Monday, May 25, 2020 on Memorial Day at 10:23 pm, I ordered a black xMask and 20 pack of filters. Once I completed my order, I received an email receipt confirming my purchase. The email contained an order number. This email and all subsequent emails contained a link where I could track my order via a UPS tracking number.

Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 8:23 pm, I received an email notification that my order was processed and would soon ship.

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 8:26 am, I received an email notification that my order was out for delivery.

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 1:50 pm, I received an email notification that my order was delivered.

Tuesday, June 9, 2020 around 6:30 pm, I arrived home to my package.

The mask came in a nice plastic zip bag and the filters came in a separate zip plastic bag. The mask was as advertised. The mask was a woven mesh that made it easy to breathe. The mask fit my face well and the ear loop/Velcro strap combination made for a nice fit. Filters were of good quality. The mask did NOT have any odor. Please note that I READ that the masks were NOT medical grade, that the filters were DISPOSABLE and not washable. I was informed that due to COVID19, delivery could take longer than the usual two weeks. However, from the date of shipment to the date received my order was 13 days. I also started a chat session online with XSuit customer service. It took less than 2 minutes to get someone and in less than five minutes all my questions were answered. I’m pleased with my purchase. I would shop XSuit again and would recommend them based on my experience. I hope this review helps others in their purchase choice.

Had some issues but got them fixed!!! Awesome!!!

Bought some masks and some filters and they they didn't work to my liking. Not xSuit's fault; my ears just don't well with the mask. Seeing as how I did try one on, it's totally understandable that I couldn't return that one. I had a little bit of an issue trying to get a return on the other items I didn't even take out of the packaging, but Frank at xSuit did get with me and things right. I'm very satisfied and pleased with my exchange and will work with them again in the future. Thanks so much to Frank!

xsuit masks

I had a great experience working with this company. I ordered 2 masks and refills online. I received my order on time during COVID-19 and it was exactly what I needed. The masks were comfortable and much better than another mask I purchased. A couple of days after my order arrived a 2 order of the same items arrived. I contacted Heidy and started the return process. I ended up keeping the masks and I received the price that they were currently being sold and Heidy refunded the shipping charge. It was a pleasant experience and she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

Pretty good overall

The worst part about the purchase was waiting nearly a month for a delivery that the company site listed as "in-stock." After not receiving the ordered mask, I went to this site and read the reviews. Am pleased to report that the mask was eventually delivered and none of the horror stories I read came with it. I received a clean new mask with no foul odors mentioned by another buyer.

The design is unique with slip in filters. There are no directions for replacement so several trial & error options exist--whether one simply punches out the disks and inserts these new filters in screw-down vents, inserts the entire liner with filter, keeps both the liner insert the mask comes with and the replacement filter or discards the shipped liner that suplied no filters in the vents, or replaces the liner entirely another and uses just a single filter liner thickness??

The screw down vents need a socket rather than just punched-through liner fabric which will probably fray and fail after a few filter replacements.

That said, the mask is much better than a home-made craft mask. I especially like the substantial Velcro-locking belt that secures around the neck rather than having cords that hook on ears or cheap hand-tied elastic straps. The seal is pretty good for a mask that isn't fitted, and the plastic-fabric can be cleaned between uses with sanitizing wipes like Sporicidin wipes. Pretty good overall.

Things did get off to a rocky start…

Things did get off to a rocky start with my delayed order. We're talking over 3 weeks. However, I can finally say my masks have arrived and they're great! Some of these reviews really scared me. I understand the shipping delay aggravation, but the mask itself is on point. Customer support was quick with responses along the way and actually called me to discuss the problem. Yes, I got an actual phone call! My rep seemed to really care how mad I was. That's why the review is 5 stars. They can be better with keeping up with inventory, but thats pretty hard for most companies these days.

You can trust Xmask to deliver a good mask and good support along the way.

I ordered a mask in mid April—6 weeks later...

I ordered a mask in mid April. They said it would be 5-7 days for delivery. Well it took almost 6 weeks for over $100 woth if masks and filters. I emailed customer service multiple times. Initially I got. I response for over 2 weeks then they said it was “on the way”. It sat in a warehouse in CA for almost 2 weeks. That isn’t en route!

They are deceptive and the quality of the mask isn’t good. The holes with the exhale flow valve isn’t finished. I’ve asked for a refund and guess what...no response.

Buy the masks from someone else.

Can you imagine their service for a $500 suit???

UPDATE 6-10-2020
XSuit contacted me after this review. They gave me a $40 refund which was posted 4 days after contact.

I appreciate them reaching out and the refund, I still don’t think that the masks and filters are worth $30 each based on the construction. I upped their stars to 3 for the refund.

Horrible chemical smell

When I finally received mask, it was in a clear plastic bag with Chinese instructions. The mask has a horrible chemical smell. Looking online, xsuit just seems to be reselling a generic mask, with a hefty markup.
The mask has such a strong chemical smell, even after 9 days of "airing out", it is unusable.

They are taking advantage of consumers buying masks during the pandemic... the are not trustworthy

They resell masks you can buy online cheaper from other suppliers, massively cheaper. They do not stand behind the mask as I got one that simply does not fit or work well (beware the wrap around mask). The quality is okay and it is as advertised but Xsuits is just a reseller with massive markups. They are taking advantage of consumers during the pandemic. Do your homework and you will find the same product for 100 to 200% cheaper online elsewhere.

Another side note... they told me 10 to 14 days for my masks. I waited 7 weeks. They are made in China and I am sure that was part of the issue.

Do not buy a mask from Xsuit.com

Do not buy a mask from Xsuit.com.
They promise a delivery time frame that shifts.
They can not provide a tracking number.

When mine became lost they said they would run a trace and if it was lost they would provide a refund. It's lost and now they claim it is my responsibility to file a claim with USPS and not theirs.

When I originally spoke with them I was told this would ship FedEx. Now it is USPS. I would advise anyone to reconsider doing business with these people.

Adriana R is my customer service hero!!…

Adriana R salvaged my customer service experience. She went above and beyond with multiple phone calls on my behalf after my initial order went horribly awry.
As a commercial truck driver I am out here making sure stuff gets where it needs to go. Most shippers and receivers will not let me use their bathrooms to wash my hands and sanitation without damaging paperwork etc is a constant battle. Getting masks (let alone reusable ones) to protect myself while transporting goods has been extremely difficult. My initial order on 4/18 made it thru customs on 4/28 and my request for a replacement order on 5/20 was lost. Adriana R was able to find my request and convince management to let her redo my order from items already in the US. I am so grateful.

NOT HAPPY-FALSE ADVERTISING

I have to add on to this list of people that are not happy with the advertising practices of this group, horrible logistics and not providing on-time performance. My masks that I ordered are late and you would think for the price I would get them when promised but a classic marketing bait and switch. One would think you would get a refund or discount for the trouble but its sad it has not been offered or hinted at. They just accept that they can do what they want since they have my money. These are false advertising claims and are illegal. DONT SAY YOU ARE SHIPPING VIA FEDEX IN 5-7 DAYS AND THEN NOT DO IT. I need these products now and its a shame its not here. Was going to buy more from them but cannot see doing so unless they provide massive value. As a start-up, they NEED to know this.

Do not do business with XSuit...

I ordered my xMask in April (12th) the xMask Pro / Metallic and a xMask Women Mesh. on May 14th the come back and tell me the Metallic mask is out of stock and to please pick from a list below... considering all the masks available were not remotely what I was looking for I pick the second/third best a Blue and or White xMask Pro... They reached out to me on the 16 thanking me for confirming the new order and they would be reaching out to me with a tracking number... Today Frank reached out to me to tell me the Blue is also out and to pick from what is left over and giving me a 15% discount on my next order you already offered that the first time you screwed up... Clearly you do not care about your customers and don't even know what is in your inventory

I’ve had the same bad experience as…

I’ve had the same bad experience as many others here. Xsuit does not ship when they say nor do they use the fast shipping method they say they use. Don’t waste your time with this company. Update after response from Xsuite. I completely understand delays due to the virus. This order is for a face mask and filters due to the pandemic. I paid $25 for FedEx 5 to 7 day shipping as stated on the order but the order was shipped USPS. Your customer service stated orders would ship in about a week. The order was placed on 5/5 today is 5/21 and my order is still in CA. Amazon has the same mask and filters for less than half the price. As I see it you overcharged me for the product and the shipping taking advantage of the pandemic and price gouging.

ZERO STARS to FIVE STAR Customer Service!

ZERO STARS: On May 1, 2020 I ordered an xMask mash ear loop black, a 10 pack of xMask refills, and an xMask Pro mask total bost of $179.97 USD. On May 13th i get an email from xSuits support claiming that i "ordered the incorrect filter for your mask" which is rediculous since I ordred one of each type mask the mesh and the pro models and they only had the basic filters available. The Pro filters were not even listed on their website as of that time! So i have back n forth email explaining i need to choose the now available pro filter. I tell them ok give me the pro filter and see online they then had both filters types now for sale thus on May 14, 2020. I ordered a 6 pack of xMask Pro filters since they became available that day as well as another 10 pack of xMask basic filters for a total of $76.93 USD. I get only paypal and xSuit payment confirmations on all the above expenses but no other replies. Now on May 20, 2020, got a new email saying they appologize for delayed response and incovienience with my order but they 'unexpectedly ran out of stock of the xmask Pro/metalic" that orderd back on May 1st! Email says i can chose from one of 4 other absolutley unprofessional looking and bizzare looking remaining other pro mask options. No i am sorry i need a black or blue for my uniform not some strangely artsy looking mask with wings or shapes glued on it! Here i am 20 days later and $256.90 spent and no product recieved not even the other basic mesh mask had been sent yet nor my fitlers. Nothing to show for my money spent with this company. I could have had a ton of other masks products by this time. I understand ther is a pandemic trust me i am a front line critical care health care worker. This product looked promising but could not tel you as i have yet to get it. The company so far has majorly dissapointed. Please contact me xSuits with way to set up a live person contact to speak someone to resolve or refund me.

5/21/2020 Update: Okay so I just got off the phone with Frank, a customer service rep from xSuits. Wow am I impressed and my entire opinion is changed. For anyone like me who read the article that listed these xSuit’s xMasks among the top 5 best masks and decided to buy only to be left feeling possibly scammed... well I can now tell you this company is legit and they really do care! What I learned is this: Yes, these masks are manufactured in China but then again most all are and certainly my hospital work provided surgical face masks are too...thus it is a reality and a topic not worth debate in this review. They have a headquarters and US warehouse based in Florida. Apparently or most likely due to the article about the xMask Pro model had lead to a surge in sales that exceeded what they thought they had available in stock. They also did not have the replacement filter packs for the Pro mask model right away. So my original order was on hold until clarified but sadly that resulted in the particular color Pro mask I ordered having run out of stock before fulfillment. Unfortunately the current remaining Pro masks in stock would not be wise choices for wear with uniforms.

The customer service I received today was above 5 star excellence! Frank was extremely understanding, a pleasure to talk with, highly professional, very knowledgeable on their products, super courteous, and empowered by xSuits to resolve customer issues. Despite my disappointment in the loss of the color pro mask I hoped for, I ultimately could not select from the remaining pro choices for my need. Frank initiated a full refund for the Pro mask and Pro mask filters I had within my two orders placed. He also took $20 off my remaining order balance for the mesh mask and basic filter packs for all the inconvenience. Frank could not speak to when sold out or other Pro mask options will become available but promised to contact me when known. He also is also going to put me in touch with their design team for submitting my suggestions and ideas for adapting their masks more for the needs of front line workers and health care providers. The xMask and Pro xMask obviously are intended or marketed more for business wear fashion but their core design with some consideration could be tweaked for front liners and people wanting such level of protection. Sorry for such a long winded review. I write honestly, from the heart, and with no connection to this company for personal or financial gain. I only seek to be a satisfied customer who spent money worth it. Feel safe to order from xSuits and know they are real people and a legit company not out to scam us who are doing their best through this pandemic and it’s challenges to make and offer quality masks. Don’t waste your time

I pretty much just have the same thing to say as everyone else here. It’s now been 19 days since I placed my order and I haven’t even gotten a shipping email like it seems like got (even though it was a lie).
I saw someone below say we need to understand they’re a startup, but come on! Etsy has nothing but small businesses and I’ve never had to wait this long for their products. I even got an order from Lithuania before this company was even able to ship out their product! If you’re going to say between 7-9 days to ship, then do it.
I’ve sent them an email asking for a refund, so we’ll see how they try to scam me out of that. I’ll file with the BBB if they give me pushback, and might contact my lawyer or dispute the charges with my credit card company.
Moral of the story is to always look at reviews of the company first.

I ordered 2 masks and 20 filters on…

I ordered 2 masks and 20 filters on 04/16/20 for $118. I received a notification on 04/28/20 stating that the shipment was on its way from Industry City, CA. On 5/4/20, I received a notification stating that the package had been delivered. Upon returning home, I found the package to be an empty black plastic envelope with a green label attached stating 'Attention Customer - Received without Contents'.

I immediately sent an email to xSuit 'support' who responded within 24 hours stating that they would follow up with the matter and would receive a prompt response. Only after repeated emails following up, including threats of taking the matter to the Attorney General of California (which I did twice now), did they respond by email.

Their email stated that I received my merchandise on 5/4/20, which again was not true. I responded back to them with the evidence again, after which I received a phone call from someone named Adrianna from a New York phone number. She stated that in order to proceed further, she would need evidence that a claim had been filed with USPS.

I went through the steps to file a claim with USPS only to be informed that, because xSuit had not insured the package, the tracking number was not eligible for a claim to be filed.

The fact is xSuit knows all of this. They know how to 'look professional' and persuade thousands of consumers to purchase a product that they do not intend to deliver. Meanwhile, when consumers call them out, they 'hide' behind pointing their fingers at both the consumer and USPS.

Overall, the general picture of this organization called 'xSuit' is that they are an organized group of people committing fraud en-masse against the US consumer.

They know there is a massive demand for facial coverings, particular decent looking and functioning facial coverings / masks. They also have done their homework on how to market to consumers.

I have already been informed that California, for one, is following up and investigating this company. For anyone who has dealt with this company, please notify your state attorney general and news agencies, both public and local.

This company needs to be exposed. They are defrauding US consumers of millions, perhaps billions, of dollars through mass marketing fraudulently.

100% Fraud

Chinese company claiming to be American does not have anything in stock and will not mail out in any sort of reasonable timeframe. Receipt says Hong Kong. Masks are made in China. When you call them out on all of these points and report it at fraud to your credit card company, they start offering money off, but try to extort you into making a return for a product they have not mailed. Save yourself the hassle and avoid these crooks and their scams.

Not a ripoff they did refund my money.

I have ordered a couple of masks about a month and a half ago. Still have not gotten them. Last message from tracking was that my package was In city of industry ca. I reached out a couple times and the only response I have gotten was that the tracking would be updated soon. Still says that the item is in city of industry ca. At this point I don’t feel like I’m going to get them. I’m beginning to think that I’m not going to get them. Ripped off.

Support reaches out to me and refunded my money I appreciate them doing that as the package still has not arrived and the tracking still has not updated.
