What can I say...a disaster!!!...

What can I say...a disaster!!!...I have already bought from them but it was always worse....between Katanamart, Yarinoanzo, Budo on Etsy you never have the slightest certainty of receiving a package within the times guaranteed by the site...a customer service that is uncertain and imprecise to say the least....shame, because the products, of average quality, would not be bad...I advise enthusiasts to buy from Tozando, Seido or other e-commerce with excellent services...this for me was the last time...

Nothing after 6 full weeks

I ordered a katana 6 weeks ago, several days before by their deadline for arrival by Christmas. Payment went through the next day. On Christmas day I emailed them to say I had nothing, they replied a few days later saying there was probably a delay at customs. I've emailed them twice in the past month and had no reply at all. The website shows no change in status from the initial 'payment accepted' status. There is still not even a tracking number. Really disappointed. I have written today asking for a refund.

At the time of your order, we were in the middle of a major warehouse relocation, which unfortunately caused significant delays and communication issues on our end. This is not an excuse, but an honest explanation — and certainly not the experience we aim to provide, especially for a special occasion like Christmas.

We are currently working to resolve all pending cases, including yours, as a priority.
Now that operations have returned to normal, we’re fully available to follow up and resolve your request properly — whether through shipment or a full refund.

I purchased an iaito from them via…

I purchased an iaito from them via Etsy. It was a cheap blunt blade but that was what I was looking for for just drawing practice. It is very decent sword for the price (€169 incl. shipping). I would buy direct in future. The best bit was: I ordered on Sunday and had the item on Tuesday. Better than amazon.

The purchase of a katana

I was looking to purchase a katana. There were several companies on line. Alex at Yarinohanzo was the only one who replied to my enquiries quickly and with no fuss. Every time I e mailed, even with daft questions.
I purchased a Nami katana and it is an awesome example of fantastic craftsmanship. I love it. Thank you.
It arrived as expected, on time. Accurate management of expectations is the most you can ask for with any business.
