I recently had the misfortune of dealing with yatra.com, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their unresponsiveness over text and call, lack of assistance in obtaining a medical waiver, and rude customer service executives left me utterly frustrated and disappointed.
Firstly, attempting to reach Yatra via text or call was an exercise in futility. It felt like their contact information was nothing but a façade. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get through to anyone who could address my concerns. The lack of communication channels and the unresponsiveness of their customer support team were deeply frustrating and unprofessional.
Furthermore, I approached Yatra with a genuine medical emergency that required me to cancel my ticket. However, instead of showing any understanding or compassion, they flat-out refused to provide any assistance or waiver for ticket cancellation. This lack of empathy and flexibility left me feeling helpless and betrayed as a customer.
To make matters worse, the customer service executives I managed to speak with were incredibly rude and dismissive. They seemed disinterested in resolving my issue and showed a complete disregard for my situation. Their lack of professionalism and empathy only added to the overall negative experience.
I understand that companies may have policies in place, but a reputable travel service should have a certain level of flexibility and understanding when it comes to genuine emergencies. Unfortunately, Yatra failed miserably in this regard.
I strongly advise anyone considering using Yatra's services to think twice. Their unreachability, refusal to help with medical waivers, and rude customer service executives make them an unreliable and unsympathetic company to deal with. I sincerely hope Yatra takes customer feedback seriously and works towards improving their customer service standards in the future.

I wish i could give 0 star rating to this booking aggregator! I was getting a better discount here so i decided to book with them for the first time - inspite of the fact that i had read severly poor reviews about the company but i ignored them assuming they must be human errors and would’ve eventually got resolved - but wohoo! Surprise. Yatra sucks - as a company and as a customer retention expert! I booked an Air India flight through Yatra for 18th June 2023, upon receiving booking confirmation, they booked me on a flight for 4th august - out of nowhere. To hide their technical glitch, they are blaming me for the wrong selection of dates and sending me template driven auto replies! Cancellation: rescheduling is costing me the same flight charge and for no fault of mine. Yatra refused to take responsibility for their mess up. What a shame yatra! As a failing travel aggregator, you have resorted to fraudulent practices and looting customers in the name of travel bookings. Stupid customer service - even more stupid service support team. Probably trained just to send regret messages to customers and fool thek by making money out of malpractices.

The most pathetic service ever. You have used my money since the past 6 months and still not refunded me. I have literally followed up over 70 times on email and all you say is my refund will be processed in 24 hours. It's been over 3 months and you are yet to finish your 24 hours. Are you on another planet?
I pity you, your careless employees and innocent customers like us who fall for such an incompetent company.
GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I AM LOSING ALL MY PATIENCE.
My last retreat will be to file a case against you under Consumer Act.

Worst service received from @Yatra.com during our family trip to Kashmir last week 30/04/2023 to 06/05/2023.
1. Details of driver was not provided on time. After continuous follow ups we were able to get the same at night.
2. Emergency contacts are not responding at any time. If emergency contact number is not picking a call, then how it will be helpful in any emergency!!! After several requests on call & emails we had not received any alternate emergency contact information.
3. Due to miscommunication from Yatra.com with Houseboat at Shrinagar, we had spoiled our 2 hours with my family under scorching heat along with my 2 year’s old daughter.
4. Car’s glass is in broken condition throughout journey.
5. Issues in @Welcome Hotel, Gulmarg
* Food quality issues:
We had dinner, in which very low quality of tawa roti served. After couple of requests, the quality of roti was highly poor. It’s too much hard, hence we were not able to cut it. In Paneer sabji, paneer was so hard (not fresh). Cucumber in salad was bitter in taste.
In breakfast, food quality is not good. As per Hotel’s manager they will going to serve Cut fruits, aloo paratha, upma, juice, bread butter & tea-coffee. But, today there is only poha (highly oily & without salt) & bread butter (not good quality) nothing else.
Tea & Milk were not served hot.
* Unhygienic dining hall:
Overall condition of dining hall & food arrangements were unhygienic. Poor cleanliness, unclean table, 2 of the chairs were not safe to sit (one may fall anytime due to loose joints), un even floor surface of steps in dining hall etc.
* Power cut issues:
More than 7 times power cutoffs within 10 hours. In night, our both rooms heater and bed sheet heater does not work in such a cold condition. Hence, we were not able to sleep due to heavy cold. Our both room’s geyser not working, so we were not able to take proper bath in such cold.
6. WiFi was not in working condition at Hotel Welcome, Gulmarg & @Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort, Pahalgam.
7. Geyser is not able to heat water sufficiently @Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort.
Considering above observations, It shows Yatra.com is only interested in taking bookings & money not in service to their “So called valuable customers”.

I booked tour of 5Nights/6Days from yatra to shimla and manali, i have requested these people to take care of us as i travelled with my 5yr old child but this tour bring me so much of mental trauma and tension that i came back to delhi within 3 days only.
In the itinerary they have mention welcome drinks on arrival, deluxe room but when we reached our shimla hotel there were no welcome drinks, the journey from delhi took about 13-14 hours, they didn't even asked us for water also, the rooms are so small and there were no facility of any Wifi or heater were available. I immediately complaint about this to the hotel and mailed to these "Yatra" people but no one was listened, so i asked them to bring heater for us for which we paid extra amount. This was all about day 1 of 5nights/6days tour.
On Day 2 they scheduled sightseeeing to kufri but that was also a disaster for us. Our cab driver introduced two guys they are the locals there, he said these people are the only one that taking you to kufri not us because they are goons and they didn't allowed any tourist car to go over there to kufri, so i asked him (my cab driver), if i have to paid this 1000 rs. each then why it is not mentioned separately in my itinerary as i have already paid my full amount for this kufri tour, why i have to paid this seperately now. But i have paid them 2000 rs. for me and my wife as child is free. They bring the jeep and took us to the mountain above, they people knew there were heavy rainfall but still they didn't warn us and took us there. There was too heavy rainfall and everyone was shivering, we waited at restaurant for about 3-4 hour and once my child started sneezing then i immediately call those guys to bring the jeep to us. I was waited an hour something after that one jeep was came and it was already fulled but still we managed somehow to fit ourself in that jeep so that we can safely make to the hotel. After that we went to our hotel and nothing was done on Day 2. Our 2000 rs. and whole day got wasted.
On Day 3 we woke up at 4 am in the morining as we have to travelled to manali from shimla, we started our jouney at 6am in the morning and it took about 10 hours to reached manali. When we reached there at manali the same thing was happened there also at manali hotel there were no welcome drinks, the room allotted to us that was no view, no balcony and no ac or wifi. I immediately complain to the yatra people they told me to contact to emergency contact person, the emergency contact person told me to connect to operations team people and their operations team people told me that nothing was happend now, you have to take the room which was already allotted to you. So, i told him that i already gone through lot of trauma in this tour, please change this room otherwise i go back to delhi and file a case against you and he said, the room change wan't possible, you do whatever you want. So, on next day i came back to delhi and now i am filing a case on these people.
So, guys this is my whole and true story this is such a torture, please don't book any tour from these yatra people.

We booked a hotel (Royal Oak Bhatkal, in Karnataka) through Yatra and got confirmation as well. While we went to the hotel, they said they haven't received any intimation from the hotel and that they're sold out. They dint have our rooms reserved. Yatra customer care wasn't reachable then. It always directed to an IVR and the call gets disconnected stating that they'll get back within 30 minutes. But they dint revert the call for more than an hour. We had to wait in the lobby till we get some clear answer on what was the issue. Later they called up after an hour and apologized for not providing the room and they said they'll process refund.
Whatever be it, standing in a hotel lobby at 3 o clock in the afternoon, after a tiresome journey of about 20 hours, with a toddler and accompanied by senior citizens, is a worse experience that no one should get. Both Yatra and the Hotel management werent bothered about our plight. If I had the option of providing 0 stars, i would've done that.
But one good thing is that they processed the refund which hot reflected within 2 days. Thanks to that

Hi this is with reference to my booking Reference No : 0904230129493. There is small speeling mistake in name of passenger. I booked ticekt on 10th April 2023 , before issuing final ticket , I noticed that name is worngly spelled and need to be corrected.
I convey the same , and my torture started with Yatra service team.
After sever follow up they came back and told me that name change is not possible and asked me to contact airlines.
I contcated EMIRATES air lines under this no: +919167003333 and they confirmed that name correction is possible, but Yatra to be contcated as ticket is issued by YATRA.
Again I started my comunication with these people , after my every day follow up with YATRA, for 10 days, i.e today 21st April 2023 again same message came that name change is not possible.
I called again Airlines , they assured me that it is possible , even they asked me to take Yatra customer support team on conference call , but I know you these people don't join.
I am now clear intention of yatra.com is not to support Customers, but to make them suffer.
As this completely against and is not Ethical. I strongly urge all of you, please block list Yatra for all your travel needs.
If anyone knows how to handle or proceed legally against with Yatra, please help me.

My sister books the wrong dates for a refundable tickets but cancel within 5 minutes. after 4 months of chasing the refund I got the below reply-
We understand your concern with No Refund against this booking. Please note that even in case of refundable tickets the airline cancellation penalties and the Yatra Service Fees would be deducted. The refund against the booking is calculated post deduction of these charges. As the sum of the airline penalties and the YSF is higher than the amount paid by you for this booking, there would be no refund due against this cancellation. We would like to take this opportunity to confirm to you that the fare rules along with the applicable penalties were shared by us at the time of booking as well.

Shows a different price when you select ticket and the price suddenly increases to double at the time of checkout.
Cheap strategy, worst travel agent.
I would highly recommend people not to use this and avoid and offers and discounts because they are nothing but false advertising.

Very Bad experience with bus booking. This is second time I faced same problem. Amount deducted from my account but no ticket recieved.
Last time it takes to refund 20days.
But this time i don't know.
If they not respond urgently will call consumer helpline 1915.

Then, why couldn’t I found the ticket in Air India website with the PNR You have given to me? Also, why didn’t I receive any confirmation message from the Airline? I read allegations about you in Google reviews. But I thought those were single out cases. But today I myself experienced your true colour. How long will you go with these fraudulent activities of yours ?

It's worst company and one of the crook website for Airline booking. I booked a flight from Yatra website of VISTARA AIRLINE .
While booking it's never mentioned it's non refundable it was clearly mentioned partially refundable but due to some reason I was not travelling so I called the customer care and they said your cancellation charges is equal to your flight ticket which is INR 8000/-. So nothing to refund .
What on earth is cancellation charges is equal to flight fare, basically it's non refundable.
They run fake promotion partially refundable. It was really bad and worst experience. Better book on some another website.
