It looked amazing when it was received. Only disappointment was it was not delivered directly to the address given, but sent to the post office and had to be picked up.

Terrible
Terrible. Ordered a baby boy gift basket called Blue Danube and instead the recipient received a PINK gift basket for a baby girl !!!! On top of the gift basket we ordered flowers but it was never delivered also.
The customer service is not willing to take any responsibility for such a big offensive mistake of sending PINK girly items to a baby boy. Truly embarrassing and Terrible company.
Appalling company who will not send what you order
Ordered a beer gift basket with tray, glasses and paid extra for cheese for my partner and what was sent was a broken box and 3 poxy food items. I complained and was told I could have a store credit for a fraction of what I actually paid. I've said several time the store credit alone is what I would pay in shipping and I just want what I ordered. To just get the same message over and over again that rhe store credit does not expire. Absolutely appalling company and unfortunately from reading the reviews this is appears to be a regular issue
Bad products and atrocious customer service .
I ordered a gift for my friend in Chandler, Arizona .
It was an exotic chocolate box and complete holiday cheese ball gift. I paid $102.97 .
The package was delivered in a shabby condition - torn and the chocolate had melted and cheese had mould.
My friends took photos of the packages and they didn’t look any thing like photos of products depicted on the website. I complained and asked for a full refund.
Yorkvilles ( Manoj)contacted and made a refund of $ 40 only. I have refused accept this payment.
For no fault of mine, I am losing $62 and my friend had to receive an unhygienic product and a waste it time for both of us.
Don’t even think of buying from this merchant.
Awful company with no customer service
Awful company with no customer service. Hamper delivered late, damaged and rotting items for an expensive order!
Great customer service
Great customer service, Great products.
Arrived on time. Wonderful!
Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with, it is a scam, They make you think company is in Canada but is in China. Everytime I ask where my item is I get the same automated babble that I must be patient. Do not buy from them.
Do NOT Use
Do NOT Use! No customer service - can't call (have some bs message about covid and then hangs up on you) and when email help it's an automated response saying get back in 24 hours and it's 2 months later no response.
The basket ordered was NEVER received by my friend. I disputed with AMEX. Yorkvilles sent document (no picture of front door where they claimed to have delivered) with deleivery date / time so I was charged.
I sent to both AMEX and Yorkvilles (help email address which is a joke) my friends Ring Doorbell log showning NO front door activity detected at the date / time Yorkvilles said to have delivered .
AMEX had to charge to me because Yorkvilles would not refund me even with Ring Doorbell proof. Because Yorkville does NOT respond to customers, I cannot get a refund or even another basket delivered. I'm out $131 USD with no product to show.
This company is garbage.
Dont use them!
Spent about $200 on a gift basket and several of the items did not arrive or were not substituted. Customer service said " not receiving the goods you paid for happens and they are not obligated to deliver what was paid for in its entirety" per some agreement. Well, in any other business if I pay for a specific good and you give me less value or omit goods that were paid for we have a problem. I am sure if I gave them only a fraction of the money owed they would not have any of that. Anyways they weaseled out of about $40 in items of what I paid for. Dont use them!
Everything was wrong with my order and…
Everything was wrong with my order and delivered on wrong date
Terrible
Terrible. Sent an expensive cake that arrived as mush. When I contacted them they said I used the wrong shipping method
( the one on their sight)!! Kept quoting their terms and conditions. Don’t use!
Disappointing rip off
I bought a wine and cheese basket as a gift for my sister. While the delivery was prompt. The contents were very different from what was advertised and actually looked like supermarket products instead of gourmet products. When I sent a complaint, the response I got was that this was within the "substitution policy" of the company.
I would rate this a minus 100000000 if…
I would rate this a minus 100000000 if I could. I am absolutely pissed off with the basket my friends received that was NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO!!!!
This is a scam so please do NOT get your baskets here because it is a waste of money.
My basket was supposed to have a marble cutting board and gold rimmed wine glasses. Instead it was an ugly wood cutting board and wine glasses that look like they are from the dollar store.
I cannot believe this website is not taken down?? How has this not been reported enough to have this business completely shut down.
Please do NOT go with this place for baskets because I promise you will not get what you ordered. Their website ratings are high but it’s also a scam.
I hope this review saves someone else’s money
TERRIBLE!!
TERRIBLE!!! I ordered a $150 gift basket that never arrived. They refused to send a replacement or a refund and basically told me ''it wasn't their problem''. NEVER ORDER FROM THEM! *RIP OFF
180 dollars for three bottles of beer
180 dollars for three bottles of beer, 200gm cheddar cheese, some mints and biscuits. They know exactly what they are doing. Taking advantage of people who want to do something nice for someone else. We'll done Yorkville's for ruining decent peoples desire to do something nice for others.
Definitely a poor customer service
Definitely a poor customer service. Still waiting to find out when my order will be delivered
awful service
awful service - they did not send what I ordered (I ordered a cake and they sent squashed child like cupcakes) and what they did send was both squashed and delivered late
I contacted customer service who basically told me to suck it up.
absolutely avoid them at all costs
DO NOT ORDER - It's a con.
On June 8, I purchased a surprise birthday hamper for my friend in Toronto for delivery on June 13. On June 13, nothing was delivered within the allocated time. My friend got a call from an unknown number claiming that her gift had been delivered to the wrong address. The lady had opened my friend's hamper and used a couple of items (crackers and jam). Upon noticing this was not addressed to her - she called my friend and asked her to pick up her package (as i am based in England). Surprise ruined, my friend left to pick this up, however, as she left the driver who mixed up the parcels called and said he would collect and deliver to her. The parcel arrived really late and only half the items were thrown into a plastic bag, rather than displayed in a gift hamper, like i ordered. The birthday card, was a screwed up note on an a4 page, not a card. Some other items ordered were missing, or incorrect. The hamper included a fresh cake which had been opened by the other recipient, and had to be discarded due to COVID-19 - it also wasn't the cake i ordered. On contacting customer services to have this resolved, we were brushed off and told that they have a substitution policy. I was also told that there is no problem with the service or product i received - the delivery mix up was completely ignored (despite COVID) and as i paid for 1-5 items, they were entitled to only put 1 of the 5 selected in. They failed to acknowledge they charged me for 5 items and fraudulently failed to deliver. Since this email I have been ignored by customer services (both via email and over the phone) and the matter has not been resolved. There is no customer service team post-order as the only number that goes through is the sales team, who take payment.
Don't ever order with Yorkville's
Don't ever order with Yorkville's. Not only do they not deliver what was ordered (ordered a tiramisu cake and a raspberry chocolate cake was delivered - smashed from all angles) but they also refuse to take responsibility for what happened and are not willing to solve the issue. Terrible experience and horrible customer service.
Time to make it public!
I ordered a $150 gift basket for my mother for Mother's Day. Although she did receive it, which is more than many others received, it was missing a number items, in addition to a number of substitutions. The basket was missing the orchid, magazine, coffee, and biscotti. I did contact the company, but after receiving a canned response (from Manoj), they ghosted me so here I am. I don't have a photo, as my elderly mother does not own a smart phone capable of taking digital photos. It is clear from all the negative reviews here this company should not be used. My review is to encourage everyone who has had a bad experience with this company to contact ctv news' Pat Foran, consumer alert videojournalist (he recently did an expose on Bloomex which delivered substandard Mother's Day flowers - google it!), CBC's Marketplace, and for anyone who worked for the company, please contact CRA if you have any knowledge of the owner paying "cash" to his employees, committing tax evasion/fraud. Time to take down these companies that are stealing the money of hard working individuals who just want to send a gift to their loved ones during these difficult times!
This company is horrible
This company is horrible. I wish I read these reviews prior to ordering a $200 gift basket for my mother in law.
The substations are disgraceful and Manoj the CSR I was assigned was a complete waste of time.
Don’t use them... end of story!
