It looked amazing when it was received. Only disappointment was it was not delivered directly to the address given, but sent to the post office and had to be picked up.

Don't waste your time or money!
Zero stars would be my preferred choice. I ordered a cheese board set and selected extra items. NO WINE out of respect for my recipient. They sent someone else's basket with wine to recipient. A replacement with the correct order will take over 3 weeks, the requested refund will take over 3 weeks...you are joking right? No instructions as to what to do with the incorrect product a nice lady in the states ordered for her family. Seriously Yorkville? Get it together and deal with your mess! I will be contacting my credit card company.
Yourkville's web shop is false advertising (READ TERMS)
This is basically an online company with false advertising... ordered a Christmas gift basket with 12 yr old whiskey, whiskey glasses, and some munchies... what arrived was a generic sparkling wine, bottle of simple Smirnoff Vodka, and some chocolates... not what you expect right?
Wrote them that this was a wrong order, which they ignored and then finally replied with, "Thank you for contacting us. Our records indicate that your order has been successfully delivered to the address provided."
I again replies with pictures of the order versus the wrong package contents that arrived. Reply was rather surprising:
"We're sorry to learn that you are not satisfied with the products delivered. We do take careful steps to ensure that all orders exceed expectations. However, as per our substitution policy stipulated in our terms and conditions, at times substitutions may be necessary to fulfill orders in a timely manner, especially in the event that an order is time-sensitive and intended for a special occasion.
Substitutions are actually quite common within the gifting and gift basket industry, as products are constantly changing on an ongoing basis after product details and photos have been published. Some items may be temporarily unavailable due to various reasons beyond our immediate control, under which circumstances we reserve the right to substitute such items with similar products of equal or greater value to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner without incurring further delays. Degrees of substitution may vary. In some rare instances, the entire contents of an order may be substituted.
Due to the high volume of orders being processed, we are not always able to contact customers ahead to advise them of substitutions. By placing an order you accepted our terms and conditions, and thus agreed that the order may consist of products that differ from the original product description. Furthermore, you agreed that you are not entitled to refunds or compensation under such circumstances, as per our refund policies: "NOT AS DESCRIBED & SUBSTITUTIONS - Where a package is 'not as described on our website' and/or we have substituted item(s) in a gift/gift basket that are in compliance with our 'substitution policy'."
So the moral of their story is, we sell you on an image and bill of goods, but wait... you can be sent anything we find laying around and there's nothing you can do about it... have a nice day.
Should have a company slogan of, buyer beware.
Bait and switch
I ordered a gift basket with 3 bottles of wine to be delivered to my cousin. They received it 3 days early, and it was a basket of snacks with no wine. Yorkville wanted a picture of what was received so I sent them one. Then they said they wanted the basket taken apart and the items lined up with more pics to be taken. I indicated that it was CLEARLY a basket of snacks and not 3 bottles of wine, and that I didn't want to bother my cousin with the hassle of all that work for a gift. They said because I didn't provide all the necessary evidence, they could not refund me. I didn't want a refund, just that the correct gift be delivered but they refused
Nightmare!!!!!
Please do not order to this company!!!!! They cannot even provide a legit travhing number so i can track my packages. I ordered for same day delivery at 7am canada time and now its nearly 8pm still not there!!! I cant track my package and theyre not answering my emails and cant contact them too. Please avoid this company!!!! Thanks
Don't use this
They deliver chocolate candies intead of ordered ballon. My daughter was very upset because she doesn't eat chocolate. If you want to spoil your children's birthday, then choose this delivery service.
WORST SERVICE EVER
WORST SERVICE EVER! Do not order from this business. If I could give them a negative zero star I would. After I placed the order I emailed and politely asked if the courier could kindly give my mother extra time to get to the door as she has just had a hip replacement. I was rudely advised I had chosen 'ground service' and that was what I would be getting. No compassion whatsoever. I then asked if I could cancel the order and was told 'customer change if mind' was not acceptable. Disgusting behaviour from them. And to cap it off it was a within 2 business day delivery. We are now at the end of 3 business days and the cake is nowhere to be seen. All I wanted to do was send a little minding to my mum from her family in Australia and I'm left feeling angry and upset with this appalling service. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
The cake arrived wholly crashed
The cake arrived wholly crashed! Everything was around the box. Any attempt to contact them, get a refund or at least a "sorry" is with no chances.
Avoid them and that will be your best decision.
Extremely sad experience :'(
I ordered a cheese cake from India for my friend in Canada. Yorkvilles delivered the wrong cake without informing me that they don't have the cake I ordered in stock. It was such an awful cake, they even charged extra to write a message on the cake which was also wrong. On writing to them they said, we have the right to substitute your order with what we have, i mean seriously? so what is the point of us choosing with so much love and interest and paying the amount they asked, when they have to ultimately send a horrible cake. A cake is such an emotional gesture specially when someone is ordering from so far, how can they just make the experience so bad. I did not even request for a refund, all i wanted was the right cake to be delivered. Please go for other sites but not this one if you want to order a cake for your loved ones :(
I did not even know they have sent the wrong cake, only when i saw the pictures, i realised its not the cake i ordered.

What an appalling company
What an appalling company. Substituted a tonne of stuff I ordered (and I’m sitting in England) for a gift basket for my brothers birthday. Didn’t tell me. Won’t say what they have substituted and whether same retail cost. I just have some suspected robot called Steven from their “ CSR” quoting terms and conditions at me. Funny thing is they cannot actually do that. Substitutions have to be reasonable. And unless they can prove this (I have asked for evidence which Steven the Robot refuses to provide) they are in breach of contract. Steven the Robot cannot stop quoting their terms and conditions which point to the contract being between Yorkville Canada and me. Thing is, There is NO company called Yorkville Canada on the business registry for Ontario and the company is not defined in their terms and conditions. So there is no contract there. Anyway. Bunch of ghastlies. Keep away and choose someone else. Anyone else.
I ordered a cake with some add ons and…
I ordered a cake with some add ons and it was 10 days before the date of the delivery and then on the day of the delivery, different add ons were delivered. When I reached out to the customer service, the assistant was so rude Olivia and said you checked on the terms and conditions and hence we will not argue with you. I asked her why was the recipient or the order placer informed about the change of items, to which she was unapologetic and ended the conversation. I felt so bad. Such a horrendous experience.

Awful !
Awful !
They sent spoiled cake ... most of the items i ordered were missing ( none of the cheeses arrived ) most of the fruits were spoiled but also onky 2 types out of 10 that i have ordered and paid for made it !!!!
Customer service is a nightmare
And my order was not delivered on time
Please save your money ,they should be out of business NOW !
Never again...
A less-than-one-star review for this company. Their product quality is shocking and their customer service the worst i've encountered. I received as a gift the chocolate-covered strawberries with same-day delivery and they were delivered rancid and melted and blatantly mishandled by the delivery service, they were completely inedible and good only for the green bin. A request for replacement was met with demands for additional fees, and a refund was refused. Never order from this company, they are truly awful, a complete scam.
This company is the most disrespectful business entity..
This company is a fraud. Do not buy product from them. I bought a cake and it was received in nasty pieces,2 days later . Overpriced for the quality and extreme and disgusting rude customer service.
DISGUSTED, SLOPPY, IGNORANT UNSAFE PACKAGING
I live in Montreal & my sister in Ohio ordered me a Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake for my very last birthday (as I’m diagnosed w/advanced stage 4 terminal cancer). It was sent from Toronto the afternoon of May 24th & was out for delivery 11:37am May 25th. The cake was NOT delivered on the 25th by end of the day as was supposed to be. I called the courier company 8am the next morning (26th), to ask why it had not delivered the previous day. They said there was a drastic failure on part of the shipper & the delivery label was partially covered w/brown packing tape & my full name, street or phone number & postal code were partially or completely covered. At that time T hey took all my delivery information & it would be sent to the depot & delivery driver to ensure delivery ASAP on the 26th. The package arrived at 4:34pm, 48 hours after shipped. It arrived in a brown cardboard box, with the cake box inside and a very tiny 3”W x 5”L poor excuse of an ice pak taped to the top of the cake box that had completely melted, it was so small, it would melt within hours in any kind of heat. The outer brown box had the attached partially covered label along with two other labels (HANDLE WITH CARE & THIS SIDE UP with arrows point up). Once I opened the cardboard box I saw a wet topped, caved in cake box lid from the now tiny, heavy melted ice pak. I opened the cake box and shockingly saw a cake that had NO kind of plastic cover over it to secure it in place or from touching the sides of the cake box as well as the cake being totally smashed and squished to one side of the cake box. I took 6 photos of the label, packaging, cake etc & contacted Yorkvilles both thru the phone number and complaints email address with attached photos. I’ve NEVER received a return call & the email reply from the company was extremely dismissive, rude, in-compassionate & totally lacking of any responsibility for the covered label, inappropriate packaging or temperature control & placed ALL blame on the purchaser. They took ZERO responsibility for the way the cake was labeled or packaged without ensuring proper safe temperature of the product with a possible 2 day shipping time . It was not packed in a cooler box, it was not packed with a full size ice pak nor was it covered with any kind of plastic cover to secure it. They stated in their email that when shipped ground it could take one to two business days & they take no responsibility for damaged or spoiled cakes sent ground. First of all the cake would have NEVER been edible even after 1 day with the 80* (26*C), never mind 2 days with the way it was packaged with ZERO items to maintain safe & proper temperature as per HACCP and Food Safe Canada policies or without any secure covering & or labeling that says DO NOT TIP .. PERISHABLE. Also, if I didn’t call CanPar the next morning to ask why the package didn’t arrive the first day it was out for delivery, it would’ve never been delivered AT ALL as they didn’t have my street number, postal code or ph #, so the courier company couldn’t make contact with me. Now with knowing and seeing how the cake company arrogantly deal with complaints and their complete lack of caring about accepting responsibility for their totally avoidable mistakes, it would have been the best outcome because they would have had to give a full refund if it didn’t arrive at all. I’m will to bet the cake wouldn’t have even been good 24 hours later UNLESS it was shipped frozen like a rock because of the non-insulated packaging and lack of temperature or stability controls. Still, placing a cake, in a cake box, to be shipped another province away by courier with NOTHING to stop it from sliding around or to stabilize it except for a shiny slippery cardboard cake base and the cake box itself. They also said it says on their website they “highly recommend” upgrading your shipping on perishable items to guarantee same or next day delivery. They DO NOT offer same day for Montreal. So even if it was upgraded it wouldn’t have been delivered until the next day (25th), the label still would have been blocked so it still till wouldn’t have been delivered within 24 hours and it still wouldn’t have been packaged securely and or with temperature control so their point is moot. They take ZERO responsibility for the shipping label being covered by their employee or for the instability or lack of temperature control. In 3 emails they repeated the exact same recommendations from their website about taking no responsibility for damaged or spoiled items. As a kind gesture they’ll offer a 50% refund for the cake. NO REFUND AT ALL for the shipping costs which was the main cause for the failure due to the covered label. This was a total failure by Yorkvilles on so many levels. DON’T ORDER FROM HERE ..HORRIBLE UNSAFE & DANGEROUS NON-FOOD SAFE PACKAGING. RUDE UNCARING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
If I can give zero stars I woul!!!
If I can give zero stars I woul!!!! This company doesn’t care for customer service they simply want your money. Our products came in wet and the cake was smashed up and the flowers clearly were dying and they needed to send them out. I’ve never seen worse customer service in my life!!!! Even when you show photos and tell them the problem they won’t help you and they won’t even try to win you as a customer!!! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS FRAUD COMPANY!!!!!!! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO GET SHUT DOWN AND NOT STEAL FROM ANYONE ELSE!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I’m EXTREMELY upset and not one person cared to even help “as per their customer satisfaction” they give no guarantee of anything coming in good condition and the cheesecake we ordered was not correct. ALL AROUND HORRIBLEEEEEE!!!!!!!
If I could I would give them 0 stars
If I could I would give them 0 stars. I ordered a basket for delivery before Christmas it didn’t ship at all after several emails into the new year requesting a cancellation they only sent the basket after I said I issued a credit card dispute. So I ended up spending twice the money as I had to send a back up basket for the one that didn’t arrive until January 8th. They stated that my dispute was invalid because shipping is beyond their control, but if they don’t ship until January 5th when the item was supposed to be there on December 23rd how is that beyond their control. Don’t waste your time go with someone reputable.
Do Not Use This Company. They Will Rip You Off!
Do not use this company if you want to receive what you ordered and paid for. After carefully selecting a sparkling wine gift set with 9 items plus the sparkling wine, only two items were delivered as ordered. The rest were exchanged with cheaper items and two items were left out completely, including the greeting card!!! After complaining, I only got a rude message back, explaining that I accepted the terms and conditions, which state that items can be exchanged.
I personally question the legality of this clause, as it allows false advertising (delivering a product of lesser quality than paid for) and ultimately ripping clients off. I would be more than happy to take this further if there was enough interest and support. This company is not worth being in business and should not be supported. Stay clear of them!
Appalling service, do not use
A dozen roses were delivered to my 80 year old cousin in Chicago a day late (4 business days) and the roses had been frozen and so were brown and dying.
My cousin did not want to tell me as it was clearly an expensive gift but did so, sadly a day later.
Consequently, because of this and the time difference between England (where I live) and the US this was reported more than 24 hours after delivery but less than 36 hours.
The customer service representative first requested a photo of the flowers, which was sent and then said that as it had been reported more than 24hours after delivery they could do nothing. Sorry for the "inconvenience" !
