It looked amazing when it was received. Only disappointment was it was not delivered directly to the address given, but sent to the post office and had to be picked up.

Do not use this company!
Do not use this company I wish I had seen this reviews before!
My order was delivered 8 days late at the wrong address and the company refuses to give me a refund unless I send them a picture of the items that never made it to the recipient.
Useless customer service who ignore your emails… save your money and do not support these scammers.
They should shut down this company it is a total disgrace, shame on them!
I recently had an unpleasant experience…
I recently had an unpleasant experience with Yorkville’s, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I ordered a cake from them for a special occasion and paid an additional $8 for a personalized message to be written on the cake. Unfortunately, upon receiving the cake, I discovered that the requested message was not included.
Naturally, I reached out to their customer service department to address the issue and request a refund for the $8 I paid for the message. However, I was met with a disappointing response. The company refused to refund the amount, citing their policy or providing an unsatisfactory explanation for their mistake.
What added to the frustration was the poor customer service I experienced throughout the entire process. The representative (Preetika) I emailed with was unhelpful, unsympathetic, and seemed disinterested in resolving the issue. Their lack of professionalism and refusal to rectify their mistake only further exacerbated my dissatisfaction with Yorkville’s.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against using this company for your cake needs. Their failure to deliver on a paid service and their unwillingness to provide adequate customer support is simply unacceptable. There are plenty of other reputable bakeries that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a superior level of service.
In conclusion, my experience with Yorkville’s was incredibly disappointing. I paid extra for a personalized message on my cake, but it was not included, and the company refused to refund the additional amount. The customer service I received was subpar, leaving a negative impression. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your cake orders to avoid the frustration and disappointment I encountered with Yorkville’s.
Also, Yorkville have used my name on their website and fabricated a 5 star review and a comment.
I have asked them to remove the review or take appropriate action to rectify the situation.
Terrible company...
Terrible company.... DO NOT USE!!! They are thieves, dishonest and scammers. Products on website look OK but in reality when they eventually arrive (if they do) are cheap alternatives and they even charge for items that are not even delivered. It is a shame that you even have to give this company a 1 star review.

Ordered a birthday cake and received a damaged cake. On top of it, they sent an entirely different cake. Worst customer service and no refund. Mark the product as fraud and taking legal action
Disappointed recipeint - bad product, bad customer service
My boss recently sent me a basket, champagne glasses, wine and a board. That was fine and packed well. There was also a huge bouquet of flowers which were worse for the wear. The box was opened as soon as it was delivered and half the flowers leaves were falling off, brown and very wilted. I’m assuming it sat in the hot truck for awhile. The problem really started when I tried to reach their CS, quality control. My only intent was to let them know how the flowers looked, I even sent pics. I was not looking for a refund or replacement, it was just an FYI. I made it clear my boss sent the package and I did not want to tell her and make her feel awkward. The response I got was asking for the order number when I placed the order and another reference to me being the person placing the order. I responded with she did not read the email, I was the recipient not the one that placed the order. Not one mention of the situation of the flowers or any apology. The response she sent me then became argumentative and she accused me of not reading the email. I wasn’t in this for a back and forth match. A web site that boasts "luxury items" now not only has bad products that they don’t stand by but their customer service is nowhere near what it should be at the prices they charge.
Scam company
For the gift basket, I specifically paid extra and requested to upgrade wine bottles and instead they replaced it with two cheaper bottles of wine. Paid extra for gourmet items and instead they gave a cheap assortment of nuts and crackers. I also paid extra for a balloon which didn’t come in either. Emailed them for a refund but they said I wasn’t entitled to it because of their “substitution policy”. Do not ever order from yorkvilles

They never deliver nor refund your money. The custoner service told me why did you order from us if you are not happy about i???? What is this.
Heartbreaking Experience from a company that’s supposed to make special occasion, special.
My bad I didn’t check reviews first. Well, sending a surprise to someone from another side of the world is surely challenging but I thought this company would help me with that goal. But no. I’ve arranged and paid for my order 2 weeks in advance just to make sure it will be there on time. The courier canpar attempted once and didn’t even call the recipient. When i asked them, they said the drivers don’t have phones with them, like really? At this time? Then they said they will deliver it Monday. (The birthday was Friday before that). And mind you, my order had a cake on it, so it will be spoiled for sure. What’s worse was this company didn’t even do anything to help. It’s so frustrating for me because a lot of businesses in my country has good service and they will try to help and rectify their mistakes. I expected more from this company who should be helping making special occasions, special. But they only caused frustrations. I was from another side of the world and imagine stressing out at 2:30-4:30am just to solve a problem that they should have solved. They don’t care at all. They are just after money. And looking at all the bad reviews here, they don’t really give importance to clients. So so so bad. Such a bad experience. I hope nobody else goes through what I went through. It’s heartbreaking. LDR is hard enough as it is, and these kinds of businesses are supposed to help solve some problems, but no. Oh well. I’ll see what I can do and have this reported, but if not, I hope they get what they deserve for frustrating people who trusted them.
Not a good place to shop for known quality
So far not very impressive. I ordered a custom basket but because it’s a very important order I asked to be called so I could verify whether some of the items I ordered would be sufficient like bread/cracker cheese ratios and I wanted more info about the cheeses and chocolates. I was not contacted and they just shipped my order. Even though it was free same day it’s now “in transit” - is it refrigerated or just going bad in a warehouse somewhere? I’m utterly disappointed. I’m going to do everything I can to cancel this order and get my CDN$230. Just because I prepaid, it wasn’t a carte blanche. I did state they needed to contact me BEFORE putting it together. In the order notes!
Damaged and Late
Gift basket was damaged and late. Contacted customer service and they said sorry, but nothing we can do for you.

Ordered a gift that was never even shipped as it was out of stock but learned this about 3 weeks after the fact. Will NEVER buy through Yorkville's again.
Delays and Terrible Customer Service
On checkout the order was guaranteed to be delivered one day before my daughter's birthday. Now, almost a day late, the new delivery is between 1 and 2 days. So the package will be 4 days late by the time it arrives.
The company would do well to not guarantee a service that it does not have the control of.
The customer service agent responding to my queries had the tone of one who did not care at all, which only spoilt the experience further.
I will not be shopping at Yorkvilles again, purely based on this terrible experience.
Lesson learned
Lesson learned, should have checked reviews before ordering. Upgrade wasn’t as requested and the substitute packaging was designed for two bottles of wine which caused the recipient to think one bottle may be missing. Embarrassing for us both! When I complained the agent was on the defensive from the oft. Be warned!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND REPORT THEM TO CONSUMER PROTECTION
If you are reading this and have been scammed like we have, here is my recommendation:
Get a chargeback from your credit card company and continue to REPORT THEM to Consumer Protection Ontario. (Google "consumer protection Ontario filing a consumer complaint).
With enough complaints, those working at Consumer Protection wake up and shuts these guys down. I'll also be writing to the the local Councillor Michael Thompson who (as of this date) covers the area that their business is registered in.
Like others here, we had paid for upgrades which they had replaced with much cheaper products breaking their own terms and conditions and refused to refund the difference.
"CSR Manager" (Customer Service Management - The Gift Group) Valerie was the rudest manager I have ever come across and must be used to customer complaints. Takes 0 action to actually resolve the issue and dismisses the complaint completely. Is not willing to provide further details on the product substitution as they clearly know they are in the wrong.
Please continue to warn others about this scam company on social media.
Very disappointed
My bad luck! Didn’t read the reviews. I ordered good fortune basket worth $39 to wish my sister. To break my heart, very poor state of the plant, received almonds from a cheap company instead of pistachios, low quality chocolate instead of Belgian chocolate. To conclude, there was no metal box. Instead a hamper basket. The look of the items were no were near to the picture displayed. Very very disappointed.
My bad for not reading the reviews…
My bad for not reading the reviews before I ordered. Ordered a gift basket from their US site and paid for an upgraded wine product. When gift arrived at recipient, it had a far inferior bottle of wine than I the one I had ordered. Raised a query with customer service who cited it's their right to substitute as they see fit but their terms and conditions state all substitutions would be of an equal or greater value. This was not the case and when I queried this with the customer service agent, I was told they would not offer a refund for the difference. Upon learning this I raised a dispute with my credit card company and upon letting the customer service agent know she responded with "Congratulations to you an Amex then". What a sarcastic and rude company.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do not order - they have been reported to Anti-Fraud at Canadian RCMP. Ordered a basket - it was not shipped, nor did it arrive on time. Website directs you to fraudulent information. You cannot call or get in contact with anyone. The number on website is circular responses and hangs up. Address is a house in Toronto.
Undelivered Gift Basket
I ordered a Christmas gift basket to be sent to a relative in ON. In spite of the fact that I provided an accurate address as well as a phone number, it was never delivered. I was told by Yorkville's that an attempt to deliver was made, but according to the intended recipient, no delivery notice was ever made nor was a phone call made. Yorkville's refused to reship without charging me an additional $40, nor would they offer me a full refund. I am contacting my credit card to receive the full refund. This company is a fraud and their delivery carrier is also a fraud.

If I could give these guys a -10 I would. Worse company ever. Problem with delivery not getting to destination and they have done nothing to help. I didn’t order from Canpar. I ordered from them and would have expected some help. I’ve spent endless hours on phone with carrier. Because Canpar said it was delivered Yorkvilles said order complete. Yet it had been delivered to another city and different person. Addresses differed by a long shot. They still wouldn’t acknowledge that they should be helping me locate this. Don’t deal with them. It’s a scam Delivery expected dec 23. Still not delivered. Perishables will be expired by now. What an embarrassment.
