It looked amazing when it was received. Only disappointment was it was not delivered directly to the address given, but sent to the post office and had to be picked up.

Ordered cake for my sister’s birthday…
Ordered cake for my sister’s birthday cake was delivered a day prior to requested delivery date. Cake was nothing closer to as it was shown in photo charged premium money for pretty basic cake.
TERRIBLE SCAM
Received a fruit basket 5 days late. The box was water damaged and broken. The grapes were moldy and liquidy and got all over everything. Customer service refused to help.
Ordered a fruit basket--- Still hasnt…
Ordered a fruit basket--- Still hasnt arrived 6 days later even though the web sight says 2 day delivery-- it finally arrived after 7 days. some of the fruit already spoiled
Mother's Day order completely ruined
I put in an order for Mother's Day to be delivered to Texas. The order arrived two days after Mother's Day. The cake was dried up as were the flowers. When I presented the photos to Yorkvilles, they informed me that I could not get a refund as they cannot guarantee the quality of their deliveries if shipping takes more than one day. It took SIX for the package to travel from California to Texas. The Pony Express was faster. They also fail to label their packages as "PERISHABLE" so that UPS knows there is a time limit on them. Since they allow you to make these purchases KNOWING that they will be ruined upon arrival, I would advise NOT using them. They will simply take your money and deliver trash and then tell you it was your fault for not picking express delivery...
HIGHLY EMBRASSED to almost tears
I was initially drawn to Yorkville by their seemingly attractive prices and the variety of gift baskets they offered on their website. Without bothering to read any reviews, I impulsively decided to place an order for a basket, assuming that the quality would match the appealing presentation on their site. However, this decision turned out to be a horrible and heartbreaking mistake.
The contents were far from what I had expected based on the description and images online. The basket was intended as a thank you gift for someone special who did a major favor for me, but instead of delight, it brought about a sense of major embarrassment and disappointment to me as the buyer. The discrepancy between my expectations and reality was so stark that it almost brought me to tears.
The majority of the contents were completely different from why I ordered. The cute basket that caught my eye - was even substituted. Also, the on-line basket was professionally put together, there was nothing cute about the finished product that was received.
When I reached out to the company to express my dissatisfaction with the product, their response only added to my dismay. They nonchalantly mentioned that substitutions are not uncommon in their business. While I understand that substitutions may sometimes be necessary due to stock availability, shouldn’t such replacements at least be of equal or better value?
It felt like a lack of consideration for customer satisfaction and a disregard for delivering on promises made through their marketing.
In conclusion, my experience with Yorkville was nothing short of disheartening. From the initial excitement about affordable prices and appealing baskets to the crushing disappointment upon receiving a subpar product, this encounter left me deeply dissatisfied and regretful of not heeding cautionary reviews before making a purchase.
Champagne hamper _ 50th birthday_ disappointment
I ordered a champagne hamper for my brothers 50th birthday, upgraded with a few addons. Due to some confusion it was delivered 4 days later even though I spoke with a customer service agent day before delivery. Majority of items were substituted and they were not good substitutions albeit quite different to what should have been. Very disappointed and on top of that the balloon was burst when it arrived. Recieved a generic email when I sent email on quality of products for such a high cost. The purchasing and sourcing team need to relook their substitutions. Won't use again.
Mark from England
I have used Yorkvilles twice now and both times they have delivered beautiful packages which were loved. I ordered a present for my fathers 90th birthday in November last year and it arrived on time with no problems. I recently ordered a birthday present for my daughter for a couple of days ago and although it was not delivered on the day due to a mixup it was delivered the next day with no problem and my daughter was thrilled. I contacted Yorkvilles when the parcel didn’t arrive on the day and they were helpful polite and efficient. It was sorted out for me immediately. Brilliant service!
Efficient sales but Rubbish in the execution of delivery.
Disappointed to say the least - ordered in good time and paid for gifts promised for delivery BEFORE Xmas Eve.
After much to and fro and failed (4) non deliveries and B...S*%# about “the customer being out”.
Its now the 2nd of January and my sister (who is a Spritely 89 years old) is taking a special trip out of town to collect the Xmas gift herself!!!
Learnt my lesson do NOT use this company EVER AGAIN!
An absolutely amazing experience
I only read all the bad reviews after I ordered and was very worried that the birthday cake for my son would arrive too late or would be damaged.
But the whole process was great. I accidentally entered the wrong address when ordering. I corrected this mistake by email and received feedback the same evening. I received an email when the cake was on its way and was able to track the driver until delivery. The cake was beautifully and elaborately wrapped and looked really great.
Thank you so much for an absolutely amazing experience.

Scam - Should of read the reviews
Should of read the reviews. Didn't deliver the goods and told me to contact the delivery company directly. I've asked for a refund but the customer service is atrocious. Avoid this at all costs. How is this company not been shut down yet? Fuming to say the least. One way to disrupt my Christmas.
It's a SCAM!
It's a SCAM!! They have no means to confirm if the delivery attempt was made, and they will keep asking you for delivery charges even though they tried delivering on the wrong address. Their customer service is terrible and unresponsive. Avoid this place. You will regret it!!
I ordered an Oreo cake the cake…
I ordered an Oreo cake and the cake arrived in a severely damaged condition, likely due to mishandling during the delivery process.
The cake was placed inside a large carton for shipping. However, it appears that the packaging was insufficient to protect the cake during transit, resulting in significant damage to the product such as frosting smearing, all the Oreos fell off from the top.
I sent them a complaint email and they only replied after 3 days and their explanation was completely rubbish.
Never order from this company.
stayed away... traumatic experience
I sent my sister's cake to the USA... I'm sorry if your suppliers behave like this. In the UK I would get an apology and a refund, but in the USA I didn't even get an apology. You are far from a civilized European service.
You order a round 6-inch cake, they send a square cake with cream, you order Spanish wine, they send French wine. The service is terrible, the delivery method is terrible, almost 90 F and they put your cake in a box without any cooling and leave box in the California sun on the driveway. If I had known it would look like this, I would have stayed away from them. Of course, they have terms and conditions that they don't have to stick to the order at all and they can give them whatever they want without any apology.
Did not deliver my order at all
Did not deliver my order at all. I had ordered a cake two days before the date I wanted it delivered and not only it didn’t come on time but it didn’t come at all. Communication was very poor, I wrote two emails asking what was going on, since they were giving me no updates whatsoever, and after the second email I sent they informed me that my order had been completely cancelled due to problems with the card I paid with. I am not sure what problem occurred since they did take my money no problem. So if I hadn’t written that email, they would have kept me waiting like an idiot. Utterly ridiculous and completely unprofessional. Do NOT ever order from this website if you don’t want to be scammed.
Scam
Did not deliver the cake that I ordered, my order was for a red velvet cake and what I got was a marble cake. Customer service was not helpful and I didn’t get any sort of compensation for what happened.
I could easily get a marble cake at the nearest bakery or department store so I am very upset about what happened. They need to close this bussniess
A bunch of scammers
Absolutely useless company with zero customer care! Avoid like the plague!!
I ordered a basket with two bottles of wine and chocolate for my Nephew's wedding. I live in the UK so thought this would be a good way of getting the gift to him and his wife.
I received the Canpar tracking info and all seemed well until it showed that the package was damaged so couldn't be delivered! I then contacted Yorkville's via their hopeless email service and am getting nowhere. They sent me a photo of the delivered item sent by Canpar. Problem is, and the photo clearly shows it, they sent it to the wrong address. Also, according to Canpar the gift is still sitting in their Calgary centre? It's clearly not my gift they were checking.
I've tried to explain this to the person on the email called "Archie" but he simply can't comprehend what I am trying to say. I'm convinced he's not a real person but some AI (algorithm) that I have been messaging?
Thus, so far, it's impossible for me to contact Canpar about the parcel, seeing I'm sitting here in the UK, and it's impossible to get through to Yorkville's because they can't grasp the situation.
Please, please don't waste your money trading with this company!
Thieves
I have to say this company needs to be investigated for theft from customers. They charge high prices for items that they end up substituting for extremely lower quality products without notifying the customers. They call it “substitution policy”. So instead of getting a $200 item they send a gift worth of $20. It’s outrageous that this company is allowed to operate
Terrible customer service
I was very disappointed in the customer service when the food basket I ordered was delayed two days. It was for a grieving family and I didn’t want them to receive stale food. They wouldn’t even tell me if their couriers refrigerated it. The courier (Canpar) wouldn’t answer the phone or return my calls. When I gave the manager feedback about the “typically arrives in 1 day” being misleading and I would have paid for the 1 day service if I had known, she brushed me off saying typically means typically. A frustrating customer service experience at a hard time for my close friend’s family. I would never recommend this company.
Would give this zero stars if possible
Would give this zero stars if possible. Huge rip off and no customer service whatsoever. I spoke to both Olivia and Valerie and both were pathetic, sad individuals (Valerie was a particular brand of horrible human being). I paid for a lot of expensive and quality items which they substituted for cheap subpar items. Not only that, they guaranteed my next day delivery and it got “held up”, so the chocolate covered strawberries and grapes I paid for were mouldy and inedible on arrival. When I complained they kept sending me links to their substitutions policy, despite me asking them to escalate to someone who matters, several times. By the way, the substitutions policy explicitly states that they will only substitute the odd item with items that are of equal or greater value. Nowhere does it say they will substitute ALL expensive items for cheap, lousy items. So they are happy to breach their own policies and defraud people, completely blatantly as well. Disgusting pathetic company. DO NOT USE
