PLB new battery
Very impressed with a one week turn-around for a replacement battery in my PLB1. But not mentioned on their website this firm do not do the work so you are better off going direct to Spares Marine in Dartmouth who charge £1 less and they are the ones who do the work.

It does state on the description of our services that they are done by Spares Marine, which are a subsidiary company of ours, however we apologise if this was not clear upon purchase.

Best chandlery in the Solent
I'm a long term customer of YouBoat; their customer service is fantastic, their prices competitive and all the staff have an excellent knowledge of their products. There are a LOT of chandlery's dotted around the Solent, but its YouBoat I always choose.

Overpricing
Wasn't impressed to see when i collected my fender socks that the price sticker had been overpriced by £2 increasing the price. I think that the policy you have is not good overprinting by over 10 percent to something you originally paid about £8 for, guess what, I won't be using you again or recommending you.

We apologise for any confusion, but this sounds like an anomaly where the incorrect sticker was applied to the outer packaging, which was then corrected by the shop staff. As you had already paid online, this had no affect on your order. We aim to provide the highest standards, both online and in-store and unfortunately missed the mark on this occasion. Purchased a new drysuit and base layer. They shipped the products very fast and sent with a reputable courier whilst other retailers were sending 48 with Royal Mail in the middle of a strike! After trying on I needed a smaller size so they sent these immediately. They fitted perfectly so sent back the first order. They were so helpful with price matching and delivery - thoroughly recommend.
