I booked a flat managed by Your.Rentals via booking.com in Calonge, Spain for one night in July 2023 (confirmation number 2122481570). I received via booking a message from the host to send her a damage deposit of €350, which I did.
First of all, the host didn't send the instructions to do the check-in which immediately made me feel uncomfortable given that I had already sent the deposit, etc. She kept dodging my calls and messages to get this information, and it wasn't until my parents and boyfriend called that she gave them the PIN code to access the key safety deposit (very suspicious from the beginning).
She then told me "the deposit is sent back after the inspection which takes place the first working day after your stay" - our stay was from Friday to Saturday, so this meant that on Monday that "inspection" was supposed to take place so I could get my deposit back that same week.
We only stayed one night, we were 2 adults and 2 kids, we checked-in late at 7pm, we had dinner at a restaurant and came back to sleep at the flat by about 12 am. We then checked out early at 8:30 am and we never went back to the property.
I messaged her again on the first week of August asking her for the deposit, and she kept saying the inspection hadn't taken place so she couldn't send me my money. She kept up with this excuse two weeks after my stay, and after that she just decided to dodge all my calls, messages and emails.
Meanwhile Your.rentals have acted very suspiciously. When the host began to ignore my calls, I contacted them and all they said was "we will send you her number" and I kept telling them that that wasn't the issue, the issue was this woman not getting back to me and paying me my money. Then they said they would send me an email "with information about the host's replies"- Which they never did.
By then I started to get very uneasy. It just seemed that they wanted to distract me, keep me waiting for their calls/emails, until I got tired and stopped asking for my deposit. So I decided to call Booking.com and open a case with them so they could review all the evidence and find a solution. Booking.com has been up until now after them for three weeks asking them about the deposit, messages they keep ignoring.
After weeks of not responding Your.Rentals sent a very random message to my booking.com inbox saying "The host says there are property damages and that's why she hasn't refunded you" First of all, they sent no evidence, no images nor any specification as to what was damaged. Plus after 3 weeks of my stay they could have had so many other guests who caused those 'damages'.
Booking.com gave them an entire week to send images of these damages and they still didn't reply. I submitted extra evidence to Booking.com with screenshots of the conversation between the host and I, emails, my bank statement to show I haven't received any refund, etc.
Thankfully my refund is on its merry way to my bank account because booking.com stepped in, however, I wouldn't for the life of me trust Your.Rentals again.

Amazing location in the heart of Peurto Banus, a truly hidden gem, the hosts were easy to communicate with and lovely.
Best place in Trogir, the owner had been really available for us and so kind. The room is really clean, modern and cute.

The staff was very helpful, pleasant and prompt! We had a room with a brilliant view and a terrace looking over the sea, and the room itself was great, cosy and functional.
The apartment is in the best location right in the centre of the old town Trogir, yet once you go into the room there is no noise and you could be miles away. Very classily fit out. Amazing shower with many jets. Was heaven after a weeks sailing. Wish we could have stayed longer.
