I reached out to VRBO due to an issue with a rental; I had not stayed at the rental at all and stayed at another location where I felt safer and more comfortable. Since the owner/host was not responsive, I decided to reach out directly to VRBO before contacting my bank or a legal representative. Nerea Vu responded to my inquiry within 24 hours and within a week had resolved the issue to my satisfaction. The resolution shows that the company and its representatives are concerned with clients' experience and are willing to listen.

Booked a rental for 1 night on booking.com and it was double booked, someone was already there when we arrived. Called the company and they gave me the owners number who was completely useless and basically said it wasnt his problem because on his site there was only one booking which was not ours, we had to get a hotel that wad almost double the price so I am still waiting on a refund for the original rental and compensation for our hotel and travel as we had to get taxis to the property and then back after we found out it had been double booked, caused an unreal amount of stress, and especially travelling with two disabled people and almost missing the reason we needed the rental in the first place!!

They kept the property on booking.com and Air B&B after I booked it and dramatically increased the price. After a few weeks I see that they cancelled my reservation saying it is no longer available (I assume that means that they found another customer who paid more, but I cannot confirm that). This has meant that prices has increased on other accommodation and has caused me to lose money. I had to send them 5 emails about this matter (and booking.com called them) before they responded and then a week later decided to cancel. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The biggest disappointment ever! After 2 weeks of the onboarding process, calls and other discussions we went online. We received almost immediately reservation from Airbnb. The problem was that the guest was not charged a cleaning fee and service fee. So we talked to YR and asked for an explanation. For a huge surprise, we were told that because we already had properties in Airbnb and we ''only'' synchronized the calendar with YR, we must manage the Airbnb by ourselves and YR will manage the other channels. ...and on the other channels is YR as a host! This is not legally true because they do not have a contract with owners but us. Within the 2 onboarding weeks, nobody ever said to us about this. So we did not even start and we already disconnected from YR and are not suggesting cooperating with them. Lost of time.
