I got a company registered in UK without any hurdle. Pricing was transparent and everything went great. I submitted the wrong documents multiple times, but the team (as far as I can recall via the email chains: Marianne, Ciara, Jinny, Averil, Judee, Jeany, Ryan, & Madel) sorted it out with me and guided me every step of the way.
Another thing I like about Your Company Formations is that I filled out a query about 4 months ago and said that I might go with someone else, they didn't try to upsell me or rope me in. That made quite an impression and perhaps the reason I came back.
Now hopefully, my business bank account is also sorted soon ;)

I paid for company formation with this company and I regretted it from day one. The company is very slow and are quite happy to charge for everything whether or not they've actually done anything dont even think aboht getting a refund. Calling them is also an absolute nightmare and they find every excuse to charge you. You can actually do everything they offer online yourself through companies house amd you'd find it alot easier, stress free amd way cheaper. Thisnos by far rhe worst company I've used amd will not recommend them to my worst enemy

A solid, relatively smooth process with a resonable timeline
I recently used "Your Company Formation (YCF)", primarily for their privacy service. The end-to-end process is decent, but I want to lay out a realistic timeline here to set expectations. It’s not that they are slow, but there are a few steps involved and these take time...
* Day 1 (approx 21:00): Initial order placed and the company formation details submitted
* Day 2 (07:45): Received the Credas invites for ID verification - these were completed around 09:30
* Day 2 (16:20): Confirmation that compliance checks were complete and that (presumably) the company creation request had been sent to Companies House
* Day 3 (14:00): Notified by Companies House that the company was officially created
So, you are realistically looking at around 12 working hours from start to finish. Keep in mind that a significant chunk of this time is taken up by the AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks. These are required by law for formation agents, even though you wouldn't need them if going direct to Companies House.
A couple of practical tips:
You will need to provide a Companies House Verification Code. You can actually sort this out before placing your order with YCF, which will definitely speed things up.
The web interface is perfectly functional, but it could do with a bit more clarity. It would be really helpful to have clearer details on the status flows, just so you know exactly where you are in the process and what the current status actually means.
Overall... if you need the privacy features they offer the process is reliable and straightforward enough.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my case has been handled and would like to formally express my complaint.
I have now been waiting for three days without receiving any meaningful update. I have not received any information by phone or email regarding the status of my request. Whenever I ask for clarification, I receive the same standard responses instead of a clear answer to my questions.
I have repeatedly informed you that I do not possess the documents or requirements you keep requesting. Despite this, the same issue continues to be raised without any attempt to address my actual situation or provide an alternative solution.
What disappoints me the most is that your service was not like this in the past. Previously, customer inquiries were handled professionally and efficiently. At this point, I feel that my concerns are simply being ignored.
I have invested a significant amount of time trying to resolve this matter, sent multiple messages, and made every effort to cooperate. Unfortunately, all of this has been for nothing, and I have made no progress whatsoever.
As a result, I am requesting a full refund of all payments made and the immediate cancellation of my order/service. I no longer wish to continue with this process.
Please confirm in writing that my order has been cancelled and advise when I can expect the full refund to be processed.
I regret that it has come to this, but given the lack of communication and support, I see no other reasonable option.
I look forward to your prompt response.
