The course is really well set up, easy to follow, and interactive. I can tell my German has significantly improved after completing the B1.1 course. Waiting for B1.2, and then I will take the B1 Prüfung, and I feel like this course is sufficiently preparing me.

After passing the telc A1 exam using this course as my main study resource (along with a separate practice exam booklet I purchased), it was an easy decision to continue with the A2 material. I've just completed the A2.1 portion and their course builds naturally on what’s covered in A1, going deeper into grammar and vocabulary. I’ve noticed a clear improvement in my listening and reading skills/confidence as a result.

I strongly recommend this course and will be purchasing their B1 material next.

I want to give this course more than five stars! I have completed the A1 and A2 courses, and I love the way they are presented, and the coursework and materials are superb. I have enjoyed it so much, I feel like Luzi is a part of my family now, as I have a lesson on almost every day. I am about to start the B1 course and I cannot recommend them enough. If you want to learn German, come and do the course. Much better than other platforms out there, and I have tried a few... Vielen Dank Diggas, und bis zum ersten B1 Unterricht.

Took the A1 Your German Teacher course and I highly recommend it. It's very well structured and easy to understand. Both Luzi and Johannes are great at explaining everything. I'm looking forward to A2 with them.

I discovered their youtube channel few years ago and i found their videos really helpful. I wanted to take up a A2 level course and since I was already familiar with their way of teaching I purchased their course. They are really good at teaching and the way they design their courses is really amazing. They offer the best at a reasonable price and anyone can easily trust them. They offer coursebooks, videos, workbooks and even separate books just for practicing grammar. And its super easy to connect to them in case you have a doubt. I am really grateful to Luzi and Johannes for being such reliable teachers.

Great course and all the fundamentals are clearly explained. One differentiator of this course is, the tutors bring out the concepts in a step by step approach- they nicely build concept after concept. Work sheets and online tests give the students a boost. Thank you so much.

This is a one stop course. You learn everything from alltag Deutsch to Prüfung Deutsch. The teachers are amazing and their methods help me remember complicated things much easier and for longer.

I cannot recommend this course - and Luzi and Johannes - highly enough. The lessons are clear and fun. I have enjoyed all the videos and completed every single worksheet. All so helpful and really nice to have the structure and system so clearly laid out. I even came to enjoy (and pass!) the tests, and think the bit of nervousness was kind of good in fact. Thank you so much guys. I'm going to take a month to go over the material and read/talk myself and then will be back for B1. All the best with your preparation of the B2 course!

One of the reasons i like your course is because its convenient to learn anytime of ones choice. I study on the bus going home or to town while waiting for the train because i have the book downloaded on my phone. when going to the supermarket, I first go to the topic where i need to know words to use when there and it helps to memorize and store it in my brain

I've just finished level 2.1 and I am incredibly impressed with the quality and structure. All levels from A 1.1 to A. 2.1 so far , are exceptionally well-designed . The explanations are clear and concise I feel less overwhelmed by complicated German grammar rules. I will be continuing with all the remaining levels .

I recently completed the A1.1 German course and couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The course was exceptionally well-structured, making the learning process smooth and manageable. Each lesson built logically on the previous one, which helped reinforce key concepts without ever feeling overwhelming.

What truly stood out was the balance between grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice. The content was clear, engaging, and paced just right for beginners. I appreciated how practical the lessons were, I could see real progress in my understanding and ability to use basic German in everyday situations.

This is my fifth course A1-B1 and each has been outstanding. The guys do such a great job explaining everything, followed by very helpful worksheets and additional study guides. I'm standing by for B1.2! Thanks again Luzi and Johannes! You guys are great!

I started studying German many years ago in high school and took a couple decades break. Well, I'm back at it and after a lot of searching I came across the YourGermanTeacher videos on Youtube to supplement my self-study. I did a lot of research on formal course options for self-paced study and I found that the YourGermanTeacher courses were spoken very highly about. I immediately purchased their complete A2 course and off I went.
The course books are great and the worksheets are a great addition to confirm what you're learning. What's better yet is the interaction with the teachers. When they say that they respond to comments in the lesson chapters - believe them. I have found their responses to be incredibly quick and helpful in providing additional context and explanations to go along with the lesson videos.
I have no hesitance in recommending YourGermanTeacher to others wanting to begin or enhance their German learning experience. I'm on my way to finishing the A2 course (which I'll do over again) and I can't wait for the B level courses later this year.

Hands down the clearest exposition of grammar in any language I have ever had the pleasure of engaging with. Prompt, respectful answers to questions. Generous in their business dealings.
I recommend these courses without hesitation or qualification.

I recently completed A1+A2 bundle and I am very grateful to both Luzi and Johannes for this wonderful course. They have an excellent teaching style that makes it easy for even the difficult language learners to grasp concepts. There are plenty of exercises to reinforce what we’ve learned. And whenever you have a doubt, even if it seems to be a silly one, just type it in the comment box and they are very prompt in responding to them. The course is very well structured and overall the user interface is easy and cool. My only regret is that I won’t be able to do a B1+B2 bundle of YGT as it hasn’t been rolled out yet (only B1.1 has been released as of now). I strongly recommend YGT courses for aspiring German learners.
