January 2019. I first contacted this company in…
I first contacted this company in January 2019 in regard to a loan that I had in 2003-2008, I knew I had paid PPI so it was a matter for them to verify the details with the loan company. Negotiations commenced and finally in late August 2019, I received an offer from the loan company. Although the negotiations seemed to take a long time, I can appreciate that correspondence between the loan company and the claims company was probably quite protracted, the loan company obviously not wishing to make payments too quickly. However, I am satisfied with the offer and the work carried out by Your Money Claim on my behalf and would recommend them.

We did not pay the tax deduction, your bank paid it directly to HMRC.
We have advised, as did the compensation award letter, that you can look to recover the deduction from HMRC.

1.6 “Compensation” means the total of any sums reasonably offered by the Company as a result of a Claim, including but not limited to, tax deductions, gestures of goodwill, interest, reductions in borrowing and/or arrears, and repayment of premiums
This clearly defines what compensation is, and that the fee is chargeable on the overall award.
Further, it is also clearly explained, both within the compensation award letter and the email sent to you, how you can recover the tax deduction from HMRC.
