Booked an activity through yumping

Booked an activity through yumping. Were not provided with a time or location just a date. Tried contacting the activity provider. They did not respond until 9pm the day of the activity and they did not even provide the activity we had booked and had no record of the activity being booked.

Have tried emailing and calling yumping to request a refund. Nobody responds to the emails and the phone has been telling me I’m first in line for 30m now.

Do yourself a favour and avoid.

We booked a trip called "dolphins in…

We booked a trip called "dolphins in the Cíes Islands from Barco 8H" through Yumping. When we got close to the date and contacted the company, they said that the yumping price was wrong, and we had to pay additional 260EUR. Further, the boat would be much smaller than the Gallar 13-50 mentioned in the add. There were no dolphins or large catenants to see on the trip.

Scam alert

Last Friday I booked a boat for Monday morning, paid full price in advance and was told by email to call the provider to arrange the delivery. The disgusting surprise came when I was told by the provider that they did not work with Yumping, that Yumping was offering boats without checking their availability and that they were full for the date I had booked. I have sent several emails since then, both through the website and directly to their complaints address, and five days later haven't heard anything from them. I am afraid I am not going to have any other option but to report it to the authorities to get my money back. This way of conducting business is not just a poor service, it looks more like a scam.
Update September 6th: today, after more than two weeks and four emails without reply, I have received a call from a person claiming to work for the Quality Control Department, asking me to explain (again) what the problem was. After explaining the situation, she has told me that my review was too hard and that I had to retire it if I wanted to have my money back. I told her that they should refund the price before, and she has claimed that “their system didn’t allow it” and has invited me to report them to the Authorities (which, of course, I am going to do). The lack of seriousness and business ethics of the company is amazing. To be continued.

False advertising on yumping (later resolved)

I have paid for canyoning in Parco del Levigliese, activity advertised on their website (yumping.it), and when i talked to the company which organises the activity they said they are not on yumping and that they are falsely advertised. I’ve completed 2 forms on yumping’s contact page and sent them emails but nobody responded. If anybody from yumping support team sees this please reach out.
Edit: Salvatore de Felice from yumping.it reached out via phone after a couple of days and in 2-3 minutes the problem was solved. I will be forever grateful for him👍

Do not book with them

Another case of booking with an operator who does not work with them and not processing our refund.

Awaiting a refund

At the moment one star… The activity I booked is not available!?!?.
I request a refund. If you are able to process my refund quickly then I would certainly leave a positive review to show that you are legitimate, you do care and you do take action when required. Yours in anticipation.

Don't trust them with your money

Paid for a horseback riding excursion, and got an email the next day saying that the experience isn't hosting on their site anymore (they still, as of writing this, haven't taken the posting down). Instead of refunding my money, they told me my money is now in an online "wallet" with their site. I replied saying this was unacceptable and I wanted a refund to the card used. Four emails later, and I still haven't even heard a peep from them. Stay far far away.

There was no booking

There was no booking. I booked a quad biking session and on my confirmation email it told me to contact the provider. They told me there was no booking and that they stopped using this company some time ago. Thankfully I’ve paid by credit card. Frustratingly there’s no phone number to call so I will have to wait for a response to my email as to whether I will get my money back quickly.

I want my money back

Booked a kayak experience. I then called to arrange a time to be told they do not work with yumping. Yumping called later and offered to organise an alternative. Never heard back and €100 are out of my account. Tried to call and sent emails but impossible to contact them. I want a refund!!

Misleading information and poor service

I booked a canyoning activity through Yumping for August 2nd, 2025. Major disappointment:
❌ False availability: The website showed the activity was available on Saturday, but the provider was only available from the following Wednesday
❌ Hidden requirements: No mention that the activity is conducted exclusively in Spanish and non-Spanish speakers are refused for “safety reasons”
❌ No verification process: Yumping clearly doesn’t verify actual availability with providers before taking bookings
❌ Poor customer service: Difficulties getting a refund despite their obvious mistakes
Result: €270 paid for nothing, ruined vacation plans, and unnecessary stress.
I strongly advise against using this platform that doesn’t guarantee the reliability of displayed information. Better to book directly with activity providers.

Terrible

Terrible! Booked and paid for a kayaking outing with my grandchildren that was not available on the day for which I booked and paid. I have repeatedly asked for a refund via email with no response. Avoid this site at all costs.

Scam activity website in Ainsa, Spain

This website "yumping.com" is a scam. A family member booked a 200€ activity in Ainsa and upon arriving the address given on the website was fake and they weren't responsive via phone either.

Please book activities like these by calling first, or directly on-site to verify the place is legit. Most activity planning places in Spain don't allow booking via websites likes these with prices this cheap.

Be careful with some of these positive comments because they appear fake and misguiding on purpose.

It appears as if scammers use this business' name "Yumping", which is based in Madrid.

AVOID at all COSTS. VACATION RUINERS.

Super bad experience. Absolutely no follow up on our requests.
Phone NEVER answers whether in English or Spanish or.....
Some of the people they sell through their website aboslutely REJECT any booking made through them. I got scammed today for 210 euros after booking a fishing trip with them and Happy Hooker in Tenerife.
On my way to the police station.

❗Scam alert ❗
I made a booking through Yumping, thinking it was a reliable website. In the end, the local provider confirmed they had no connection whatsoever with the activity and with this platform.
I lost my money and never got to do the activity !
