One of our concerns was call quality on slower networks, but Zadarma has been surprisingly reliable. Even when team members are working from places with weak Wi-Fi, calls are still clear and stable. That consistency is huge for us.

We’ve been quite a penny monthly for over a year now, and the experience has gone from bad to worse.
The core issue? Their PBX system glitches form time to time and initiates multiple calls (3 to 4) instead of a single outbound call (considering there is a single Dial-out via their own VoIP Client. This isn't just a minor glitch; it's a business-critical failure that risks landing us on spam lists and damaging our phone number reputation. Furthermore, attempts by their engineering team to fix this issue, leads to our Outgoing calls to using Dubious Caller IDs from all across Europe.
What’s even more frustrating is the utter lack of meaningful support. Every time we report the issue, we’re met with copy-paste responses like:
“It only happens to this number; try another one.”
“This is not an issue.”
“Please copy/paste call logs into this chat.”
These responses are not support; they're stonewalling. It's a textbook example of victim-blaming, pushing responsibility back on the customer instead of acknowledging and fixing a clear technical failure on their end.
We even had to solve part of the issue ourselves using our own time and resources, without any effective help from Zadarma. And now, with the problem worsening, we’re staring down the possibility of being blacklisted for spam because their system malfunctions (this is days after we've managed to restore reputation for our phone numbers).
We expected a professional-grade VoIP solution. What we got is a buggy service and a support team that doesn’t seem to care.
Avoid Zadarma if you rely on consistent service and competent technical support; and especially if you've got 1000+ dial-outs a week. If that bug (that seems to be system-wide now) would affect you, expect customers who end the call (maybe they're in a meeting or can't talk right now) to receive 2-4 additional calls, generating customer rage.
Thanks to them we're starting to get complaints form our existing, paying clients.

We onboard freelancers in different time zones. with zadarma we assign temporary virtual numbers to our contractors so they can speak with clients directly no need to use personal phones. when the project ends, we disable the number. it keeps things professional, and we maintain control over communications.

I strongly advise against using Zadarma for any professional purpose.
After my business line was suddenly blocked, I submitted all the required documents (ID, proof of residence, business registration, etc.). Despite full compliance, the line remained inactive for over a week, with no alternative solution offered and no clear communication.
Support only responds with automated messages like “please wait in the ticket,” without ever escalating to someone who can actually help. No serious handling, no temporary workaround, no real follow-up.
As an entrepreneur, this caused a direct disruption to my operations. I was left with no choice but to escalate the matter to the relevant regulatory authorities.
Zadarma offers no reliability, no continuity of service, and no responsiveness. If you rely on your phone system to run a business, look elsewhere.

The service has only got worse since Bulgarian Telecom was taken over.
Now, I can't use my mobile phone for caller ID.
Please be aware that if you rent a virtual phone number that has previously been used for fraudulent purposes, you may be placed on a wanted list.
Zadarma doesn't care at all.

I'm joint Zadarma 3 months ago, because Skype will not work anymore, and looks like a good alternative, but from the beginning I just get problems, they ask me to verify my identity what I did and should take one that that but take several days, with no reason.
After I asked for refund because I had several days waiting and calling, they activated my account and said that my identification was confirmed.
Considering all the effort on the onboarding prosses, I decided to keep the account and get a try, everything was already paid.
During almost 3 moths I don’t have may problems, maybe some call connection instability a few times but nothing terrible.
Then I get an email telling me that I need to top up my account to renew my service and of course as any other service, 2 days before needs the found in my Zadarma account, I top up the quantity that was necessary.
When I did that and the total amount of my top up was discounted from my PayPal account, the Zadarma account ask me to upload a ID picture again as the first time and I did, but was I never image, was they was asking me for verification again, and before to be verified again (after less than 3 months) the disconnected my number, and block the calls (even if to call don’t need verification) and block all the services.
I believed that was a mistake, and of course I get contact with the support line, and they said that the verification prosses take 1 business day, and was Saturday morning, that means that on Tuesday (3 days after) if I lucky I will get my phone number and call service back.
I tried in a very different way to explain my situation and problem to Grazina from support line, and was to talk with a wall, that only repeat that technical support cannot solve this, and I need to wait the answer of the verification, that means to don’t have my phone number approved and authorized 3 months ago for 3 days or more.
When I insisted to can have a faster solution they copy the following extract of the contract in the chat line:
2.4. Services suspense and cancellation. Zadarma has the right, herewith not to incur civil responsibility, to deny Services providing, restrict or set limits of their usage, fully or partially suspend or break Services providing not informing the User about maintenance, modernization and (or) advancing of Services, or if the User is known to have committed fraud, or is bankrupt, or has given any reason to doubt his ability to meet their commitments under this Agreement.
What means that Zadarma can suspend all your service for almost any possible reason, because all the time they can doubt about anything, and you will not get support by phone or chat if this happens, even if there is a mistake of the system ot algorithm, and you will need to be without your paid services, even if you did anything wrong, until a different department, that you cannot reach by phone or chat, and only works form Monday to Friday, can verify as the first time 3 months ago, that everything his is ok, and just was a system security mistake or wherever they want to call to this situation, that I honestly believed that vulnerated the right of a phones service customer.
If you are thinking to joint Zadarma, please know that is not like Skye, cost a low cost service company with a poor support that can block your service for non-reason and not give you support if this happens even by mistake, what can leave you in a situation like my situation without phone line to call and get calls for 3 or even more days.

All the time I provided all the information needed and asked, I shared all my identification documents with less than one hour when the Zadarma teams ask for them, so please, take seriously this review and read it carefully, because the problem is not to provide or not provide documents that could be needed for any purpose, the problem is, any decent company, when need additional information or documents to by provided, give you an amount of time for that, but Zadarma. first block all your paid services, and then, ask you for more information, that in my case, was to provided the same copy of the same passport provided and proved 3 months ago, that of course anything change in my identification documents on that period of time, but I get without phone for an important time, even if I did everything on time and in a good way, but at the moment, I don't get any apology, or refund for the time without paid service, or any solution to the real problem, that Zadarma can block your account for any reason at any moment and leave you without a phone service even if you paid and provided all the information needed on time.

I'm often in meetings or on the road, and i used to miss important voicemails. Now, every voicemail lands in my inbox and I can listen from my smartwatch, phone, or laptop. just last week, I was hiking and got an urgent message from a client in the uk. I forwarded it to my assistant directly from gmail and she followed up immediately. without this feature, we might’ve lost the deal.

This service is a joke … I was waiting 3 days to approve my documents. I bought a number spent my money and it turned out it doesn’t work properly. I can’t hear anything when I call and nobody can hear me. They opened the support ticket for me just to close it days later! No one even tried to response for it! I just waisted my money!

We shouldn't use this company. It's a super lazy business model. They just copy competitors, but offer everything but worst. It's a bureaucratic torture to register, give them all the paperwork. And most likely ends in another 30 minute call with your payment protection plan, to retrieve just few dollars they try to steal. If you forget about it.
A waste of time, and a poor try of stealing forgotten balance from people who decide to just don't use this cheap copy cat, of other companies that truly cared about customer experience, and easiness.

I make several long distance international calls every month (as an individual not as a business), and had used Skype for many years. When Skype ended, the option of moving to Teams did not suit my needs. I searched all over to find a replacement and eventually settled on Zadarma. I have been delighted with the service and it is actually far better than Skype.

We paid for a virtual number and uploaded all the required documents accurately and in full. For the first two days, nothing happened — no review, no response. However, as soon as we requested a refund, Zadarma suddenly reviewed our documents within minutes and rejected them without any valid explanation.
All of our submitted information was 100% correct. We even re-uploaded the documents for a second review, and again we are left waiting with zero updates or support.
This feels like a manipulative tactic to delay the process and avoid providing service or refunds. Their customer service is unresponsive, their document verification system is either broken or intentionally vague, and the entire experience feels dishonest.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid Zadarma at all costs. There are far more transparent and professional VoIP providers out there.
