Hello, many apologies for this. As this is the first we are hearing of this, we have checked the DPD tracking and can see that this is currently at your local DPD delivery depot. We have contacted DPD and asked for a delivery update but we can see the delivery date is showing as Monday 13th February. Avoid! Very disappointed.

Shocking to say the least, purchased a few bags of sweets from Zapsweets, it came for them to be delivered by DPD, i knew i wasn't going to be in that night so i had changed my options (3 days prior to delivery) to be either delivered to a neighbour or left in my greenhouse in my back garden. The parcel was launched at my door and a poor photograph taken. I return the next day to find no parcel at my door.

Stolen? Driver taken it? Who knows.. Complaint to zap sweets who left my waiting for a reply for over 18 days only to be told that dpd have adknowledged the parcel was delivered within their delivery policy? This company literally condones parcels just being launched at your door. It's mental.

Never again will i be purchasing from zapsweets or using DPD, absolute joke. Companies never taking responsibility these days, just the norm.

50 quid down the drain.

Was sold large tub of chocolate over a…

Was sold large tub of chocolate over a year past it's best before date! Stale and lacking in flavour. Emailed as soon as i noticed and sent proof but still had to argue for refund. 3 weeks in and still waiting on a so called update as to why this happened. I would think twice about buying from here!

You can clearly see from the photo proof i sent a BBE 10/21! That is over a year!!

Also impossible to do a taste test
when the goods are still with me!

You obviously have not looked at the photo i sent. Clear as day dated BBE 10/21. The code area stated above is 1216. If your stating the opposite that would mean 1216 is the BBE so 6yrs past their BBE?
Shocking service and now trying to wriggle your way out of it!

Hello.

Thank you for including the order number. I can see that this order was successfully refunded on the 09/01. The goods were sent directly from the manufacturer and we passed this complaint onto them as a matter of urgency as we don't manufacture or handle this item. Their QC department are investigating this as we write this and performing a taste test as well as a full trace back to the date of manufacture.

Please be aware that the goods were not 1 year out of date, they were labelled as 10/22 which we believe may have been a labelling misprint but await confirmation.

As mentioned above, this was successfully refunded a number of weeks ago so the item in question should now have been disposed of. We apologise for the inconvenience caused here. Once the manufacturers have concluded their full investigation, we will also send you a copy of this as requested in the e-mail chain we have running with yourself.

Reply to edited review - The manufacturer keeps a retained sample from every single batch that they make should they need to do a taste test. The taste test will be from their own retained sample, not the goods that you have.

The manufacturer has also confirmed and stated the best before code is stated at the top of the label, the numbers you are stating are at the bottom of the label which the manufacturers confirms is the juliane code area of the label and not the BBD.

Delivery was terrible

Delivery was terrible. Excuses of not being able to find address that the firm (DPD) had delivered to on many occasions.
