Bought my first set of Zeds for my rim-brake 2015 Cannondale Supersix as the company were one of the very few who could supply rims narrow enough to fit between the chainstays. Was so pleased with them that I later bought another set, which have done great service on my disc-brake bikes, currently living on my Fairlight Strael. Have had a couple of occasions where I've needed support and Lee has always been there for me. Very happy to use an independent British company and just as happy to give a five-star recommendation. Chapeau!!

I needed some new rim brake wheels to replace my worn SLR 0 after researching I decided to go for the Zed 50 mm Ultralight with ceramic bearings and pilar spokes. After a few hundred miles on them I have to say I couldn’t be happier. They feel very responsive, the braking has improved and the pickup is instant, I was hoping to feel a difference from my old wheels and I really have. The communication with Lee was straightforward, prompt and helpful. If anyone is thinking of upgrading or replacing their wheels you will not be disappointed with your Zed wheels purchase. Great set of wheels and great communication.
You can really feel the extra speed on the flat and down hill. Have done over 800miles since fitting and They have not missed a beat.

Excellent after sales service from Lee and Susannah. I needed some bearings replacement for my Zed wheels and they could not of been more friendly and helpful in identifying the bearing I needed and organising the payment and delivery. Could not recommend more highly. My front wheel is now spinning super smooth with the high quality ABEC 5 bearing. Thanks Lee & Susannah

From initial enquiry, to choosing wheels and extras, Lee has been fantastic. Excellent service, and the wheels are fantastic. I purchased gravel plus 50 wheels, upgraded hubs and spokes, £1000 total. Rode them for the first time on Saturday with Pirelli 45ml gravel RC tyres. Felt awesome over 120km Hampshire gravel- LOOK GREAT TOO :) Thanks Lee and team, I'll be in touch soon to get new wheels for my road bike

I was verbally recommended ZED by a collogue , and I can honestly say that once i had deiced what wheels I wanted , I sent off my order and Lee gave me a quick call just to quickly double check my requirements , and from then on it was a real breeze I was informed by email every step of the way which personally I found very comforting ,
The wheels were built and dispatched in a matter of days so 10 out of 10 for their speedy service, on arrival the wheels was very sensibly package and on getting them out of the box the Quality was plain to see , they honestly look and ride superbly , I know its a cliched saying , but these guys are genuinely small enough to care but big enough to deliver ,
So a true 10 out of 10

The after sales service and support is amazing and as it should be. I had a small issue on my 3 year old wheels - quickly resolved with the help of Lee - very efficient and personal service. This is so valuable.

This was a step into the dark purchase. Trying to avoid the cost of the main brands but not wanting to gamble on imports I found Zed Wheels. I was desperate for a set of lightweight carbon gravel wheels and the Gravel Max 40's fitted the bill. Fantastic price, built up by a small independent company was just the ticket. Yes they will take longer than in-stock ready to ship wheels at twice the price but when a delivery issue caused an a additional delay Lee was straight in with an alternative offer of 45mm deep rims for the same price, no quibling. The minimal branding is sophisticated, they ride great, look cool and sound awesome.

I’ve bought two pairs of wheels from Zed in the past, and I just wanted to say how much I’ve loved them — both in performance and build quality. It’s rare to find a brand that combines that level of craftsmanship with the kind of ethos Zed stands for. I really value what they do as an independent wheel builder, and it’s part of why I keep coming back.

I’m in the process of purchasing a third wheelset because of the trust they have earned.

In the past I’ve needed some support with a wheelset and Lee responded quickly and helped me with my needs without hesitation.

Second pair I've purchased from them my rim brake ones are 5 years old and still as good as the day I received them.
Just brought disk brake 40 ultralight and they are spot on. Done over 300 miles on them so far and I'm very impressed.

The team provided some fantastic advice when the wheels were first ordered (2022), and more recently regarding a service query helped organise spare parts to get me quickly back on the road. Brilliant product (000's of miles ridden on these wheels) and great to know the after sales service is spot on too!

Fantastic wheels with great people running it. I was looking for some help choosing a wheelset for some specific racing in France and Lee was amazing giving me really helpful advice finding the right wheels for me. Now that I’ve got them they feel great! I bought the Ultra Aero Disc under Lees recommendation and they’ve shaved a lot of weight off my bike and really changed the feel to make it more responsive and comfortable. Definitely a worthy upgrade !

Purchased my second set of wheels from Zed Wheels. My first set (rim brake) was getting a little worn after a number of years of use so Lee provided the options of either replacing the rim or purchasing a new set.
I've chosen the second option (and may replace the first set later). My first set of wheels have performed brilliantly; soaking up rough English roads as well as a number of trips over Flandrian cobbles.
The new set arrived swiftly after ordering (within a week).

Excellent communication from start to finish. Had a couple of rides on them now and found to be very fast and smooth rolling. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with the service I had from Lee at Zed Wheels. I ordered a pair of Superlight Aero Disc wheels but inadvertently specified the wrong freehub. I contacted Lee regarding my mistake upon which he sent me the correct freehub through the post and a pre paid return envelope. I don't think you can beat that for customer service. Thanks Lee.

Good communication from Zed after I had a problem with a freehub. Replacement parts were obtained and despatched to me on the day they received them.

Lee and Susannah from Zed were great at communicating throughout the build and sales process, and flexible about delivery while I was frequently away from home for a period.

I've yet to use the wheels but they look great and certainly are lightweight! I've ridden with another pair of Zed wheels for years already and am looking forward to trying these new ones too.

Ordered a Zed wheelset just a few weeks before heading off for a cycling trip. Was hoping to have them but I had left the order to the last minute. Lee bent over backwards to get the wheelset to me beforehand, with excellent communication via email at every stage. Proud to have purchased a beautiful, hand-built set of rims from a UK company.
