ZELLE worst app, banking feature, always down

ZELLE has got to be the worst feature, app, bank link of all time. I use Zelle 5-6 times per month. I have an app, but usually go to my Wells Fargo website. The past 12 months, it is down like 60% of the time. It is 2024, not 1999. Why is Zelle constantly down? Explanation?

Theese zelle guys are dumb ass…
They don’t know that which account they want to block.

I reported a scam which i sent money to a person and recognized that this is a scam and the zelle team blocked my account they are dumb worst terms and agreements.

Use Venmo, not zelle

My bank changed from visa to MC. Could not remove the old card and Zelle kept saying unable to add new card and to call my bank. Call the bank, they show that the new card was added to Zelle and everything was fine on their end. After trying multiple times again, to add card, no luck, I call Zelle customer service. On hold for long time. Finally get a guy that tries to help, but has to transfer me to “ next level”. The phone rings, a girl immediately says “ can you hold”. I hang for 20 minutes and hang up and call back. Finally get someone on phone, she says my address does not match what I am putting in. I have lived here 5 years, so address has not changed. She reads the address to me in file, same address I put in and the same address I told her. She finally tells me to find another money app and asks if there is anything else I need. I hung up on her. So, forget Zelle, not worth the hassle. I am going back to Venmo who I never had any problems with anyway.

Zelle is is not convenient at all

Zelle is is not convenient at all , you do a poor job, if I need my money in minutes it should not matter what time of the day it is ,if you’re not going to deposit the money in minutes don’t take my money out my account in minutes, the money should not be deducted from the account until it’s going to be deposited. Don’t take my money out my account only to hold it , and not deposit it into the account I sent it to, please before you send your money, Apple Pay and cash app is still number one in my book , Zelle you have to do better or go out of business

NEVER USING ZELLE AGAIN

Tried to send by Zelle some money to my friends daughter. Daughter lives in Cedar Key FL and was totally wiped out. Zelle was nothing but trouble including locking me out of my own bank account. Instructed me to go to my Bank. The Bank tried and was told to me give another phone number to call. Called the number to be told go to bank! I am standing in the Bank. Finally a Bank manager called and got things straighten out. Zelle NEVER AGAIN.

If I could give zero stars...

If I could give zero stars, I would!
I tried to send money to a friend of mine enrolled with both email and phone number, using his email. First time, the money is put on hold for up to 24 hours and then payment is blocked. So I tried again, using this time his phone number, same thing happens. I can't cancel the transaction either. In the meantime I decide to pay another friend who also is enrolled, guess what? Same thing happens. Now I have 2 payments on hold, processing for another 24 hours that I can't even cancel. The thing that makes me wonder is that many have this great opinions of Zelle, just because it is owned by well known banks, when infact it is also subject to so many frauds. I am having a bad experience now, not being able to pay my friends. I never ever had these kind of experiences with PayPal or Venmo. I will never use Zelle again.

I needed to send money to my brother…

I needed to send money to my brother pretty quickly and thought this would be a good option. Its linked to my bank and my brothers bank and we were both enrolled in it so should be simple right? Its a good thing this wasn't a life or death situation because its been 2 days and still no deposit into his account. Not sure what the hold up is, I can't cancel anymore so I know its progressed to some degree. My bank says it will be available by october 1st, if I had known that I would have just sent it via mail. Not very impressed and will not use again. Should have checked reviews before using, silly me.

Zelle Security - Farce

It seems that Zelle's screening process for its members may not be as rigorous as one would hope. I was recently duped by one of their users, from whom I bought some lights. To my dismay, no action was taken to recover my funds. I strongly recommend that if you're considering using Zelle, ensure you have a high level of trust in the recipient. This will help you avoid potential scams and feel more secure in your transactions.

Beware

I sent Zelle to a person standing in front of me and he never received the money and it came out of my bank account. I contacted my bank(chase) and filed a claim. Never heard back. I called Zelle but they sId they could not do anything because I used my bank account. I will never use Zelle again.

This is a money scammers app and steals…

This is a money scammers app and steals your money. Accounts are hacked and people gets calls pretending to be their friend or relatives and ask for urgent transfer to zelle, once initiated your bank account is accessed and monies transferred out.

Horrible

Horrible. It would give me the money people had sent me so I called my bank. The bank said to call zelle so I did. Then zelle says to call my bank! So I did again and my bank tells me to call zelle!!!!

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. After waiting 15 min I was greeted with loud music and talking going on in background as if the person was at a party. I couldn’t hear a single word they were saying. The next day I tried to call again but this time they repeatedly hung up on me.

My first and last time using Zelle

I initiated a Zelle payment through my bank, Capital one, on September 8. As of today, September 12, the funds are still not in the recipient's bank account. He received a notification on the app of the payment. He is a regular Zelle user. Zelle advertises very quick transfers, but Capital One says they can hold the funds for 1 to 3 business days. This is now day 4 and the money is gone from my account and has not shown up in the recipient's account. This was not a small amount of money and I am very nervous that I have been scammed or there is an issue with Zelle.

Poor customer support

I was on the phone with Zelle at least six times, including calling my bank three times and the sender calling his bank several times. I am a registered user and could not accept funds sent to me, and Zelle would only say to call my bank. I received texts from Zelle to enroll, and my funds would be released. My bank confirmed I was registered and to contact Zelle—a vicious cycle. The sender had to cancel his payment and use a different platform. The last call I made, they hung up on me. No thanks.

This platform has become a JOKE

This platform has become a JOKE. it used to be where you can transfer money instantly between banks to people. now, it takes over a week to transfer EVERY time. not only sometimes. another way the legacy system plays with common folks money. absolutely insane and we can't do anything about it. rediculous.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company f**king sucks. If you have issue don't even attempt to get help cause it's f**ing none existent. Unless you want to listen to an AI voice on their so called 24 hour help line. No matter which option you choose on their menu you can't talk to anyone it's frankly appalling. I'm to the point where I never use this again and tell everyone I come across to run from this s**t hole company.

ZELLE is a scam

ZELLE is a scam. They don't help in any circumstance of real fraud and actually flagged a recurring payment I made as fraud. as a result of their incompetence my bank account was locked and had to go in person to my bank to verify the account.
