I paid for a group lunch and asked the others (6 friends) to Zelle me their share. My bank (Capital One) put a hold on the second payment and later locked my entire account. It took me 7 phone calls... See more

How can you sue Zelle
How can you sue Zelle? Their services are atrocious and they money won't release into my account.
Transfers are NOT available in minutes
Transfers are NOT available in minutes. Days later and my money is still in the cloud.
Zelle customer service: Hang up and call your bank.
Such contempt for the client. Welcome to the new normal. Give us your money, now go away.
Zelle sucks
Zelle sucks. Tried to send money to my sister and it was a comedy of failure. Don't sign up. Avoid. and zero customer service. they actively stop you. F#$K you, Zelle!
Zelle sent messages saying that other…
Zelle sent messages saying that other party could not be identified, verified, and took my money anyway . Twice , the second time they sent a message saying I was going to be refunded and I would receive my money back in two business days . I never received it , then I called to have my bank refund it . My bank refunded it two or three days later . But they did and investigation and took the money back and stated the payment went through. Then said it was fraud and there no recovery and when I called customer service , it's a recording that tells to call your bank . My bank is chase and then chase kept telling me call zelle. They basically lied to me and stole my money.
full of crap
full of crap, too much security questions.... just trying to put in my new debit card but it would not let me... i already volunteered to give them my social security # but still these IT guys are very strict in their protocol....
Don’t send money using Zelle
I would give Zelle less than zero stars if that was an option. If the recipient claims they didn’t receive funds, Zelle offers no customer service support and/or has inadequate, if any, accounting controls. Money goes into some ozone and there is no one willing or able to help.
Terrible!!!
Zelle is horrible!
Zelle is horrible! It will let me send money and will not let me accept money!!
Tried 8 times to receive money from…
Tried 8 times to receive money from another bank from a friend and it failed each time. I even tried to request the money and it was blocked. I have my number and email registered with my bank. Called my bank and was told nothing wrong on their end but it looked like trouble on the other end. This sight should have worked the way it is stated to work but i wasted my time so no i have to do a bank to bank transfer. Thanks for nothing. The dates vary. But the first time use is date of experience.
Absolutely Horrible
Absolutely horrible! Zelle used to be awesome, but as of late it has just been a nightmare. I’ve been using it for Facebook marketplace transactions for a while now and recently they all keep getting denied and or put on hold. This last one was a $1700 purchase to which after the trusting seller left their item with me the Zelle payment did not go through. The matter was resolved, but damn what a letdown. I scanned their QR code so there isn’t anything that could have gone wrong in terms of incorrect info, and I had more than enough in my account to cover the cost. Zelle has ONE job, it’s it is now absolutely terrible at it. Stay away from Zelle if you’re sending to new customers
Terrible Stay Away From Them They Have…
Terrible Stay Away From Them They Have Rights to Band You Permanently From Zelle if you Send Big amount of money to senders and received big amount over $100 they will permanently band you stay away from this horrible company or use cashapp or venmo
I was banned from zelle
I was banned from zelle. No one can tell me why other than I violated the terms. When I asked the bank, they said I need to contact zelle, Zelle said to contact the bank. Neither could say what terms were violation only that I'm permanently banned and I should read the terms.
5 days and still no money
I used Zelle to transfer money needed immediately for a home settlement. 5 days later and the money still has not arrived. Don't expect immediate.
Zelle blocked my payment and didn't…
Zelle blocked my payment and didn't tell me the reason. Why do I even need to deal with zelle? In other countries I can send money instantly with no hassle or blocks. So my payment gets blocked for "security" reasons? I never asked for this security. This is just an excuse to inconvenience me. Is it illegal to transfer MY OWN money? Should I be turning myself into prison?
Worthless app
Worthless app, this is one of those apps that need a class action lawsuit against it for false advertising, fraudulent business practices, I wouldnt even give it 0 Stars, When you have an error it just keeps running you in circles and tries telling you that it's your bank's fault which it is not. Most useless app ever. It's enough to make people want to switch their Banks or not use a certain Bank just because it has Zelle as their only means of transferring money..
What the heck is the point of a money…
What the heck is the point of a money transfer app with a $500 limit?? Literally defeats the purpose. At that point just use cash app or venmo. Zelle started out by fulfilling a much needed service, the sending limits defeat the entire purpose of the service. 0/10 will never use again.
App vague and useless
USLESS, will never use again.
Paid rent in Sep, 20 days later, pmt returned for wrong address. Wrote to landlord who said address is correct.
Re-set app, checked w/my bank and sent Nov pmt, Now I see that the app is non-compatible w/IPad or Android because it's "too old" even tho I have current OS for both.
Real PITA.
Customer Service guy hostile
Tried to fix an issue with Zelle where they denied payments of customers for seemingly no reason (causing me to lose out on $100+ of sold products) and when I called, the guy had trouble understanding what I was explaining then got worked up somehow and decided to yell at me and hang up.
Horrible experience and I will never use Zelle again!
*I did call back and had a better experience with a woman who actually listened to what I was saying, but overall experience was garbage, I do not treat customer service people unkindly and do not take well to being screamed at for no reason on the phone by a stranger.
Use beware, super shady practices
I was selling some things getting ready for a move. Someone wanted to use zelle, I have zelle set up through my bank, he tries $1 first, I get a text message on my voip number telling me I received a payment. ok, sure, it works. he then sends me 300 via zelle. get another message, on my voip number, telling me I received another zelle payment. dude leaves, next day, someone else tries to use zelle. they get a message that they cannot send me as my number is a voip. (googlevoice). uh, what? I then go to access the money that zelle let them send the morning before, and i got confirmations. they tell me I can't access the money because I have voip. WHAT?! then why did you allow them to send it and tell me it went through the morning before?
I called Zelle. they hang up on me. I call again, they hand up on me. I call again, this time they transfer me to Chase bank blaming it on them. DUDE I just told you, I"m trying to use the app not a bank, but they don't want to take responsibliity for their system flaw.
Luckily i message the dude and he bring cash, but come on zelle, but for the honest dude, I would have been out a bunch of money and your response is to not address it. I will NEVER use zelle again. there are too many good ones to deal with a company like this
They stole my money. $150
I sent my niece $150 to help her get to payday. The next day, she attempted to send it back cause she got paid. The money disappeared from her account but never arrived in mine. It has been months. She has called them multiple times but they keep telling her that I did receive the money (I did not), and then that they will investigate and get back to her. Which they never do. Do not trust them with your money. They will keep it.
