Since January 2025 Zing has blocked my account which I have £1000 in it. Zing asked me where the money originally came from. I sent them all the proof the asked for. The next email I got from them was about my account being temporarily suspended as part of a routine review process and they said will may take up to 30 days, I waited a month and nothing. After a month I started emailing them every week about my account and they keep telling me the account is being reviewed and someone will contact me about it. I
am very worried as this is my savings for the month. I have no access to the app and I have no access to transfer this money to another account so I can pay my bills. I am on maternity leave and now I am on unpaid maternity leave and I have no money to pay my bills. I got an email from them saying that Zing is closing and they’re telling me to withdraw or transfer the money. How can I do this when I can’t access my account and can’t transfer money to another account so I can pay my bills. I’ve wasted so much time emailing them and they keep replying that the account is being checked and I have to wait. Unfortunately I will have to complain to the FCA and the Ombudsman Service

Why can't I send to normal uk banks like halifax and clear junction it's always saying failure to send try again this is wrong

Had zing while was on holiday last year but now I have been trying to access my account via the app to be told they can’t verify my details so I can’t access the money in that account. I have been emailing the support team for over a week to just get an automated reply back .

Zing are closing down but have abandoned their existing customers in the mean-time.
If you are travelling overseas and need to replace your phone then the App will not accept a new Passcode (it just says something went wrong) and ZING do not have a number you can contact them on.
They do not respond to e-mails to support or complaint e-mail addresses. Even if you have emailed them several times.
It's pretty serious when you are travelling and were dependent on their service which cannot function without the App.
Worse than poor. It's irresponsible. Not only are they closing down, they have let all of their personnel go already and provide no support for their dodgy app.

Shocking company which is no wonder why it's closing down soon
The service is really poor , super monotoned and never straightforward.
There are barely any perks or features that stands out.
Opened monzo instead and I can honestly say this is the copy cat version of them but 10x worst. AVOID ! AVOID ! AVOID !

Absolutely terrible. I used zing last summer and everything seemed ok (even though I only used my account while on holiday) I had recently been using it again and had transferred money over to my zing account. Over a month ago I tried to used my zing card to withdrawn funds and it didn’t work. I then tried to log on to my account but it came up with a message saying ‘this account has been temporarily blocked’ but no reason why. I then checked my emails and noticed they had also emailed me the same thing and to my surprise I also noticed I had an email from them saying they were closing and I have till April to withdraw any funds because they close my account! Seems abit of a coincidence that my account has been blocked at the same time they decide to close down…?? I have £500 in my account which I desperately need back and all I keep getting is automated replies from zing with no help at all. I had tried re entering my zing log in details for the app and now it’s saying my ‘identity needs verifying again’. This has been so frustrating as there is no number to ring and no one to physically talk to to resolve it. I even went into HSBC hoping they could help as zing is part of HSBC and they couldn’t help me with anything to do with zing. I really need this money back is it’s part of my savings and I have things i desperately need to pay for and they are withholding my money and not trying to help me withdraw it at all. Appalling!!

Great service nothing was ever a problem. Customer care was always excellent.
It is a shame that Zing/HSBC won’t stick with this business after all the effort that has been put in..
Sad to see a 5 Star service go

Hello my I’m Leonard Maricel Pintilie i want to now why my banking account is not working

They have closed my account without any reason, I don’t recommend

First deposit made to zing of £1000, they locked my account, unable to spend or withdraw money and keep getting ‘under review’ from them, been over a week and no questions asked or reason given, referring to FCA as this is not within the bounds of acceptable behaviour. Please stay clear
UPDATE:
Responded to request below to be told the email wasn’t registered to the account (it is and is showing in the account in app)
Requested my number to contact me - they haven’t
Tried to connect via app, still ‘under review’
Money still not accessible
UPDATE:
Money finally available after a number of weeks of trying, the only reason qouted was that I tried to move the payment app to my other phone - how this can take three weeks to resolve I do not know

I moved all of my money Across from my usual bank to my zing account on Friday night as if lost my bank card for the other account and the money hasn’t arrived in my account. Zing are telling me that the money is with a third party while they conduct an investigation as to where the money came from originally. I have sent all the proof they asked for to prove it’s my money and they won’t release my funds. Can’t get a straight answer out of Zing about where my money is or who has it. They just keep telling me to wait. They won’t give me a time frame as to when I can expect this to be resolved. I am so worried as that’s my money for the month. To pay rent and bills. I have no food in the house and a child and pets to feed and they don’t seem to care. I’ve seen that Zing is closing down so I’m worried now. In response to Zings reply as already stated I have emailed zing already and they just keep telling me the relevant team is dealing with it. They won’t give me a time frame of when I can expect my money and they won’t give me anymore information. It’s like taking to robots. It’s a waste of time me emailing them again. I spoke with the FCA yesterday to raise a complaint.
