Signed up for the bonus of spending £5 and get £30 back which I received on the 30th day.
I also signed up my friends using my referral link and they got their £30 too.
But I never got anything from referring??? I am owned at least £120!! And before a bot replies to this review, it has been more than 30 days.
All my friends met the criteria and got paid using my referral link, yet I got nothing!
I knew it was too good to be true. Customer service are useless bots, even the actual humans you speak to, are bot like and useless.
I could provide all my friends details and their mobile numbers that they used to sign up and the live chat agent said wait 30 days, despite it being longer than 30 days.
Don’t bother with their refer a friend scheme as it is a scam. You don’t get paid.
Avoid…

They never pay registration bonus, even though you have met all the criteria long ago. They can only tell you that they will normally pay within 30 days. You can imagine why they put “normally” in the wordings. Totally lier. For a banking service, honesty is the upmost thing

I signed up using a referral link with a £30 bonus after your first transaction. I did my bit, but they wouldn't pay the bonus.
Edit: it wasn't because I'd not waited 30 days. It's because they said I hadn't followed a referral link. I'm also not the only one who's been cheated.

I opened this account as one of their first 10,000 customers, getting a "Founding Member" badge. It seemed like a competitive and smooth way to transfer some foreign currency - I sent some AUD to Australia (I'm Australian), and used it to make a payment on a French mortgage in Swiss Francs (I'm also French and worked & was born in Switzerland).
All up less than £10K.
Then, out of nowhere, they blocked my account without any explanation. The only recent transactions are £600 from one Zing currency wallet to another, and 2 incoming payments from myself totalling £600 two weeks prior.
Unfortunately I am also a (Premier) customer of HSBC and the Zing account freeze has caused me untold misery as it has somehow propagated.
I am also a long-term shareholder of HSBC and I must say it's difficult to understand why they have such blatant disregard for their customers. How about just picking up the phone to talk to your customers? Instead, a wall of silence, not even a single question, your own money taken hostage and zero accountability from Zing.
I really should attend the next shareholder meeting and raise some of these issues. Zing&HSBC seem to lack any social conscience or common decency.
I could not have been more disappointed.

This card is unbelievable, took 2 weeks for my wife to top up her card, keeps refusing any debit cards try to use to top up. Tried to pay for gift vouchers from Harvester restaurant refused 6 times when queried was told to look at reasons , these included drugs, pornography, people smuggling, sure Harvester would be pleased to hear about that. Managed to top my card up previously with £700 for holiday but transferred it back to my bank as concerned couldn’t use abroad . Will never use again, will go back to Caxton they know what they’re doing only switched for the £30, Don’t touch with the proverbial barge pole

I enrolled in the Zing card for my Daughter and myself for our holidays this year and it proved to be a great asset, very easy to use and easy to convert between currencies and to transfer money between accounts.
Good exchange rates when changing currencies on the day with low charges
I would highly recommend the Zing card and App as it’s easy to use and to link with your bank account.
