Bought tickets for my 2 grown up…
Bought tickets for my 2 grown up children for principality stadium they did the walk. The flyer and the drop they really thought it was brilliant and I really enjoyed seeing them from across the river 😀 because the photographer and video wasn't working but still really enjoyed
Stadium walk and flyer Cardiff
Great experience on the stadium walk and flyer. Great knowledge from our guide, amazing views. The walk was very enjoyable as was the zip line. I didn’t know what to expect from the zip line so it was shorter than I’d initially expect but still an overwhelmingly positive experience all around, makes for a good gift!
Velocity Zip line
Staff were helpful and friendly, explained everything well and put you at ease. Velocity is 5* and such a cool experience, I would highly recommend.
The only one niggle was a very long wait on a small amount of food. So be mindful if you are restricted for time. However it was a Saturday, maybe they were short staffed.
Overall it’s a great day out, highly recommended!! 😁
Brilliant experience and great staff 👍…
Brilliant experience and great staff 👍 👏 👌
Fantastic views and staff are amazing
Principality stadium experience
We done the principality stadium walk and flyer, the staff were amazing. Our tour guide Mark was really great from start to finish full of interesting information and facts about Cardiff and the stadium. The rest of the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Very expensive…£95 for 2 of us for 50…
Very expensive…£95 for 2 of us for 50 minutes on bounce below and 30 minutes on underground golf…when me and my son can go Alton towers for a full day for £60 won’t be going back
The price for the crazy golf is ridiculous when it’s nothing special
Amazing experience!
We visited the London Zipworld Helix - what a great experience! All the staff were super friendly and the slide was amazing along with the views! Highly recommend!!!
The staff was super helpful
I booked the quarry karting for a stag do. However due to it being January they cancelled due to poor track conditions. (Which is totally understandable.)
I phone them up asked them if we were able to change the activity due to the circumstances. The woman on the phone upgraded us to another activity called the canvans. It would was more expensive than the original activity we booked However they did not charge us for it. I would highly recommend doing this as an activity and booking with zip world.
A truly memorable experience
We went in January and took advantage of a discount. It was a murky day, chilly with low cloud. We were pre-booked and arrived early. The staff were all incredibly welcoming. They were attentive, obliging, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a truly memorable and fantastic experience. Thanks to all concerned for being so brilliant!
Its my second time visiting a zip world…
Its my second time visiting a zip world site. We have done Aberdare and the stadium walk in cardiff.
The stadium walk was breathtaking, we picked the perfect day, (new years eve) we could see for miles. We were not rushed, we were informed of all the landmarks from the member of staff. (I forget his name.)
I recommend the stadium walk over the zip line, it was truly fantastic. We could see the Brecon beacons, Bridgend and the other direction was the sea and cardiff Bay.
Value for money, yes! Stadium walk is worth every penny!
The Caverns were a great experience
The Caverns were a great experience for 4 people, clean facilities, friendly staff. Optional camera equipment and ability to download the footage fairly instantaneously via a link is really well thought out.
Attended santa at zip world tower…
Attended sabra at zip world tower tonight we were a large party.
The staff were so friendly and accomodating to us all. The Santa was fantastic and the Grinch was on top form and entertained the kids and adult's .. he was brilliant .. the elves were fab too especially Tiffany who jept us informed throughout our visit. Ruined by over-zealous Health & Safety
Ruined by over-zealous Health & Safety
You can't make claims like "The fastest zip line in Europe" when everyone is governed by their weight - They have a Red/Amber/Green scale and if you weight over about 14 stone (into the red) then they stick a parachute on your back which significantly holds you back speed-wise. I barely broke 40 mph and as you have guessed it did not live up to the claims and the hype.... which is fraud in my book.
I was so slow at the end I just 'coasted in' even without doing what they told we had to do, which was to hold our arms out to create wind resistance to slow us down - Just completely not needed wearing a whacking big parachute to ruin the experience.
So total rip off, fraudulent and does not live up to the claims it makes - Save yourself the money and spend it elsewhere, like Alton Towers etc
Aero Explorer potentially dangerous (in my opinion).
Did four experiences at various Zip World locations.
Aero Explorer is potentially dangerous. Before you start, they tell you to lift your knees so you don't twist an ankle on the landing platform (or words to that effect). The fact they tell you this speaks volumes. The issue is, the 'ride' is up to 30 miles an hour and swings the rider about. I only saw the landing platform at the last minute, didn't lift my knees quickly enough and somehow (I think I was swung out and back in) my ankle connected with bare wood; definitely badly bruised, possibly fractured (with hindsight, should have had it x-rayed). Reported this to Zip World who don't seem interested in establishing exactly what happened and insisted I must have "[gone] over it on the rubber matting cover" (I didn't - I'm old enough to know the difference between banging my ankle and going over on it). Unfortunately I didn't opt for the head cam so was unable to prove it (and Zip World must know that).
My husband also didn't like this ride and felt the landing platform was dangerous.
Re: the other rides -
Velocity - this is a long process (approx 1.5 hours for a couple of minutes zip line). There is the kitting up and safety briefing, the shorter zip line, the truck up to Velocity (about 20 mins), the queuing and then being connected to the Velocity equipment. Personally I found it a bit disappointing. For some reason everyone else seemed to shoot off a lot quicker than me and I didn't feel like I was moving at 100 miles an hour. Also, I felt the head cam should have been facing forward rather than pointing at my face as the video doesn't give a concept of what the rider is seeing. Be aware - it also has a microphone.
I did enjoy the Fforest Coaster and the Underground Golf.
Experiences staff were all friendly and cheerful.
Voucher extended policy - not for families
Voucher extended policy. My mother bought vouchers for Titan for my wife and me.
My wife has become pregnant in the meantime so can’t use the voucher.
Zipworld will extend her voucher but want me to pay £40-50 to extend mine.
This does not portray family values and a progressive friendly business.
In comparison Virgin Ballon extended for 2 years for free.
I’ve been to multiple sites and enjoyed the experience, but this has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth
A year on since our visit to Zipworld…
A year on since our visit to Zipworld with a group of adults with disabilities. I left a review September 2024 about the parking rip off, when we received a parking fine, even after displaying a Blue Badge on the mini bus.
It's appalling to see 12 months on that nothing has changed. Review after review still reporting these appalling charges and absolutely no response from Zipworld.
Shame on you and your management for your 'no comment' attitude to your customers.
Go early & have nothing else planned
It is a brilliant day out don’t get me wrong, but the waiting around constantly is what can ruin the whole mood.
We paid £78 for 2 Adults just to sit waiting about constantly. Not because there is a lot of people to check.
It seemed like the are not organised enough how how many people they let enter.
We paid a lot of money for our time to be wasted. If it was cheaper then is would be a perfect day out but I’m
Not giving my money and extra time to wait about for the min groups when we have paid for the challenge + full course.
It’s a shame because we drove down from Leeds to experience this and will not be returning again just because it has wasted our time for not that much of an adrenaline rush. The waiting about bores you to much.
Staff are lovely , helpful & give very clear instructions for safety
If i could do it would have given them…
If i could do it would have given them not a one star, we whole family had bad experience with their customers service in wales zipline would not recommend anyone. We went from london and wasted our time there in debate with staff whole day was ruined because of this .
