I went to zizi in resorts world today

I went to zizi in resorts world today, I ordered lasagne, when eating their was a burnt bit inside,I just thought it was a bit of burnt pasta, when I ate it I had the most awful taste in my mouth and something popped like it was a cochroach or large spider maybe, I spat it out, they took the price of the lasagne off our bill, I wouldn't go vack again, their kitchens need looking at!

Zizzi

Zizzi - Stratford upon Avon
The manager was so rude! He had no idea of customer service! Huffed and puffed at every request, barged into me
Sat at the table and then pulled a face at the bill request - took ages and then gestured when we had vouchers! No way would I pay full price for this food! Other serving staff were very accommodating and feel so sorry for them having to work there!

Meal Out

Visited Zizzi at Port Solent for a family celebration. Whilst the food tasted OK the portion sizes have dramatically reduced and prices increased which does not reflect value for money eg 2 large cokes for approximately £12.00 and not even 1 sliced mushroom as an additional topping (£1.75). I would only visit again when I can use my Tastecard 2 for 1.

Great Food and Customer Service.

My wife and I were both very impressed with the quality, choice of food and drinks at Zizzi, Fosse Park. Great customer service from Jodi, who, although very busy, had the time to explain the menu to us in great detail. We were not disappointed with our choice, and we shall certainly be going back to enjoy the 'Zizzi Experience' again. Thank you Jodi and the Zizzi Team, Fosse Park.

Visiting Leicester branch

Visited the Leicester branch and had the 3 course meal for 2 also had a bottle of Chardonnay. We could not fault our service, a member of staff told us there had been an issue with our starters and they were being remade, so they removed our bottle of wine from the bill. But we didn’t notice any delay, all of the staff were lovely, apologetic and very attentive, the food was absolutely delicious we could not fault it. Well done Leicester, excellent caring staff and fantastic food!! We would highly recommend and will be returning.

Awful overpriced food

Visited Zizzi, Stratford Upon Avon. We shared the cheese fonduta with dough crusts. Delicious but the portion size has been reduced since the last time we ordered it. Why? It's not cheap at £8.95. For main course I had the lasagne which was absolutely dreadful. It consisted of mainly pasta sheets with a minimal thin spread of minced meat between each one. Some tomato sauce drizzled round the edges and a ridiulous amount of bechamel sauce on top. In other words lots of the cheapest ingredients and definitely not "rich ragu" as the description states. At £17.95 I would expect more. Marks and Spencers ready meal Lasagne for under 4 quid is better quality and tastier. Will not go back to Zizzi and would not recommend to anyone.

Rude staff

**Belfast restaurant**

Was told that the restaurant closed in 2 hours. We were slightly confused as we've never had a meal that lasted two hours. Waiter stood cross armed and tutted loudly when we sat. Sister asked for cheese and tomato pasta and was told they had no pasta. She changed her order to risotto to have it repeated that they had no pasta, for a rice dish. When the kitchen called over that risotto is rice, he turned and said "it's ok, they're being difficult."
We decided that our money would be more welcome at another restaurant so we left.

Staines Zizzi’s….

Staines Zizzi’s….
The waiter was affluent enough and hospitable. The pizza though was nasty, terrible dough and plastic cheese (food for the masses) very expensive for what it was 👎

Abysmal service

Abysmal service
rude manager attitude
Meal forgotten/missed
Not asked if wanted desert. Eventually asked if wanted more drinks but still waited 25 minutes for them.
Waited ages to try and get staff attention to ask for the bill no one around so i Went to bar to pay bill where a lady who looked like she was the manager rudely and abruptly told me to go and wait at the table. 3 hour visit only got mains and 2 drinks with extremely lengthy waiting times in between, i was told one of the chicken dishes would be taken off the bill because of the wait but it was still on there…. At that point I couldn’t be bothered to argue about it and just wanted to get out of the place. And no it was not a busy time of day.

Absolutely abysmal and shocking…

Absolutely abysmal and shocking customer service. I would never use this place again.
On the 12th of January, I placed an order around 3:00–3:30 pm through Just Eat. The app showed an estimated delivery time of 35 minutes (maximum 40 minutes), which was the only reason I placed the order.
By 4:30 pm, my pizza still didn’t even show as being prepared. I called the restaurant to ask what was going on, but the phone connection was extremely poor. I could barely understand the person on the line — the only word I caught was “drivers.” I hung up assuming they didn’t have any drivers available.
At this point, I couldn’t wait any longer as I needed to leave work to pick up my child. Still, there was no sign of my delivery for another half hour. I felt completely trapped: if I cancelled, I would still be charged; if I wasn’t there when it arrived, they would take the food back and I’d still lose my money.
I called Zizzi again to ask for an update and was spoken to in an extremely rude manner. I was told, “Why are you calling Zizzi? You ordered through Just Eat. Stop calling Zizzi.” This was completely unacceptable — my food was supposed to come from them.
Nearly two hours later, someone finally called saying they were outside with the order. The delivery driver was extremely rude and hung up on me after I explained that I had been waiting all day and had to leave to pick up my child. He even said it wasn’t his fault that he arrived after two hours — as if this was somehow my fault for ordering.
As if all of this wasn’t enough, my order was then marked as “delivered”, even though it was never delivered to me. They still took my money for a service I did not receive. How can you mark an order as delivered just to take the payment when the food was not handed over?
Is this really how you treat paying customers, Zizzi? Absolutely shameful. Shocking behaviour, disgusting attitude, and appalling customer service from start to finish.

"Allergy at table" when I am a person with an allergy

Lovely atmosphere, great food and great service, 10 out of 10 for catering for Gluten free even though you don't really advertise that so many items are available as gluten free options. I was with a group and noticed the bill was headed up with "allergy at table". It would be nice if this was changed to simply say *Allergy* or "person/s with allergy"

Refused to provide advertised offer

A group of us went here for dinner. 3 courses plus drinks. The service was alright. The food surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. However it all soured when we went to pay the bill.
The BLC code was rejected by the computer. The server agreed that was incorrect, but apparently only a manager can override and there wasn't one on duty. We were told to contact customer services the following day which we did expecting a reply with an apology and at the very least the difference back as a gift voucher. We received no reply. Frustrated we contacted our local trading standards who agreed to take on the case on our behalf. This did get a response. However the response was basically sorry, but not sorry and it was dismissed. Very poor indeed.

Diabolical service.

We called at the Leamington Spa branch and we were the only couple there, and although there were 4 staff that we could see wandering around and chatting away to each other, we still had to wait over 30 minutes from ordering to actually receiving our food. Although the food was ok having to wait so long is not acceptable, just pleased that they were not busy. We always tip when dining out, but this time we didn’t bother. Will not be returning.

I visited the Braintree Zizzi for my birthday with family in October. The service was poor and slow even though the restaurant was empty.our food arrived before our drinks so we had to ask for drinks and we also had to ask for cutlery too. Me and my mum both had the ravioli di Capra. It is a dish I always have when I go to any Zizzi. It tasted off and sour and my mum agreed. We did let the waitress know how unhappy we were with it. A day later we both had upset stomachs and nausea which we both believe was from the sour tasting ricotta filling in the ravioli. Unfortunately won’t be returning to a Zizzi now.

Disappoinied in Zizzi

We ordered spaghetti pomodoro which came lukewarm on a cold plate and were very disappointed. The pasta was tough and chewy, and we sent it back. Apparently, you have changed the pasta, but this was unacceptable. The replacement was hotter still on a cold plate and was just as tough and chewy. My wife left half of hers, but I struggled to finish mine. The server Jana was very pleasant and with the managers agreement did not charge us for the food. While this is appreciated it spoilt our day.
We do love Zizzi, but this experience has left us with a question mark over whether we should visit again. We did visit on 19 November with a party of six and it was perfect. I understand that the pasta issue has caused other complaints so you need to do something about it, or you will lose trade and serve the food on hot plates.

Disappointing Experience

We visited ZZ’s in Lancaster for my sister’s 40th birthday, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Both the food and drinks were disgustingly overpriced for the quality and portions you get.

The lasagna I had was completely flavorless, and my sister’s beef ragu honestly felt like a pot noodle slapped on a plate—hardly the comforting, hearty meal we were hoping for. The pizza was very poor quality as well, with a crust so thin it was barely noticeable.

The children’s dishes were the worst part of the meal—totally bland and unappetizing. The children’s Bolognese had no meat in it, and the portion size was so small it seemed more suited to a mouse. We had to ask for condiments like salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese—just a disgrace for the price we were paying.

To top it off, the service was painfully slow. Dishes came out at staggered times, so by the time one of us was finishing, the next person was just getting their meal.

On a positive note, the staff were friendly and polite, but that couldn’t save the experience. Overall, I wouldn’t return, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend ZZ’s to others. Very disappointing for a special occasion.
