Very disappointed with delivery times to Ireland. I’ve been using Zooplus for about a year and times are getting worse. Latest order placed on 5th January has still not arrived. There is no excuse for this as we are all in the EU. Purchases I make from other EU countries arrive is days not weeks.

The fact that they are still using GLS for deliveries means that even with so many complaints, they still haven't taken any action.
I came here to file a complaint and to my surprise, this company's rating is 2.3.
Quite fair for the poor service provided. Avoid them.

It takes more than two weeks to deliver the order. They send an email saying it will be delivered within a certain timeframe, but they don't meet it. Terrible logistics service, I do not recommend them.

After paying for a self cleaning litter box worth about 350 euro, the product arrived with no plug! I called Zooplus and the offered resolution was 25 to go and buy my own - the adapter is very specific so now I’m left with a product that doesn’t work and a search on my hands. Spend your money elsewhere, this company are sub par with poor customer service.

Delivery is shocking I placed an order recently and took 4 weeks for it to be delivered. Is this going to be the way going forward. My cat needs specialised food and waiting a month is not acceptable. Gls are shocking, if zooplus want to keep customers they should change courier. Zooplus don't seem to care about the issue

It was the first time I have ordered dog food from Zooplus. I just read the reviews here after I have placed my order, so I was kind of prepared for a longer delivery time. After a week I have sent a mail to customer service yesterday. They couldn't confirm the exact delivery date, but I got a response quickly.
For a surprise GLS sent a delivery notification this morning, and it was delivered later today, so I have received my order in 8 days.

Have to echo the comments here about the terrible delivery service, lack of order tracking capability and poor customer service. We ordered on the 4th, its now the 10th and no sign of our order, or any communication about expected delivery date/time. We've now run out of the specialist food for our dog, and have to find a vet today for an (expensive) emergency supply. ZooPlus is not working in Ireland.

After reading all reviews I was a bit sceptical whether my order placed on 1st of January will be delayed considering some people are waiting for a month or more.
But it arrived within a week.I.was very happy.All arrived perfect 👍

GLS delivery experience is really bad.
They use GLS for delivery. Typically stuff gets delayed by about 2 weeks when I order from them. This time round, I've been waiting over a month and still no sign of the pet food I ordered.

I ordered over 200 euros worth of dog food which was never delivered. GLS was the courier and they sent me a meaningless email when I followed it up and told me to talk to zooplus. All I got from zooplus was an automated email telling me to check with the neighbors. I will never use this company or GLS again they have lost a customer for good.

I can't see a way to rate this company as zero stars, otherwise I would have. My repeat order of 20th December 2025 has still not arrived. Despite numerous attempts to contact Zooplus by phone and e-mail I have not had a reply. Ticket numbers are piling up all promising a response within 24 hours. GLS carrier are hopeless, all past deliveries have been very late but this is the worst.

I am now genuinely worried that my cat’s food will run out before the order arrives. This should never happen when ordering essential pet supplies.
I have been a customer for over a year, but unfortunately the service seems to be getting worse, not better — both in terms of delivery times and customer communication. Waiting more than two weeks with no clear information on when the order will arrive is unacceptable.
I really hope Zooplus improves its delivery reliability and customer updates, as this experience has been very disappointing.

Worst experience I've ever had with online shopping. Besides sending several emails with promotions, the codes never validate on the website at checkout, and the delivery is terrible. Emails saying it will be delivered in 48 hours and nothing happens. Horrible. I do not recommend it.

Stay clear – Buyer beware!
Ordered dog food on 12 December to get it before Christmas. It was shipped on 13 December via GLS. GLS tracking has shown no updates since 19 December, and it’s now January 5th with no sign of my order.
Multiple emails were sent requesting updates, but there has been no response, no support, and no communication from either Zooplus or GLS.
Delays or parcels going missing sometimes are understandable. What is not understandable is the complete and utter lack of communication from both Zooplus and GLS.
Shocking customer experience. Save your time and don’t order from them.

Zooplus used to offer excellent value for money and expedient shipping - making them the obvious choice for all our animal food.
Price increases have been very difficult to deal with - though this is industry wide. The main problem is shipping - which is now abysmal. I’m still waiting for my last order (16 days) and the delivery company they have chose to use is not responding to calls or emails. Be warned

I am ordering from Zooplus for the past while due to prices being a bit cheaper for specialist canine food.
Unfortunately, their delivery times are getting worse and it takes a minimum of 2 weeks or 3 weeks to get item delivered.
Their contact form is not working so only option is to ring, but you never get through. Very bad customer service.
No clear shipment details and they use Evri for delivery, so no updates or delivery status provided.
Update: Had to get in touch with Zooplus (online form isn’t working) and agent advised that item should be delivered within 2 days (after nearly 3 weeks delay). Unfortunately, It wasn’t delivered and had to ring them again to get a refund.
Glad I was able to get my money back but won’t be ordering again due to very long delivery delays.
