1⭐️ Disappointing service

1⭐️ Disappointing service. My parcel was marked as delivered but wasn’t received, and the proof photo didn’t show delivery to me. Geekcore insisted on a police reference number before helping, so I’ve had to raise it with my payment provider.

Updated 23.01.2026: Geekcore have stated they “believe” it was delivered based on GPS/photo and are refusing to progress the issue unless I provide a police crime reference number. I find this ridiculous for a low-value missing parcel and completely unreasonable to expect customers to involve an overstretched police force. Under UK consumer rights, the retailer is responsible for ensuring goods are delivered to the customer, and I do not believe a police report should be demanded as a condition of providing a refund.

UPDATE - 26.02.2026
After a lengthy and frustrating process, Klarna has now resolved the dispute in my favour and issued a full refund.

The parcel was marked as delivered but was never received. I was initially asked to provide a police report, which I did not feel was reasonable given there was no clear evidence of theft.

This matter could have been avoided had Geekcore followed UK consumer law, which states that goods remain the retailer’s responsibility until delivered into the customer’s possession.

The issue was only resolved after I raised a formal complaint and escalated the matter. While I appreciate the eventual outcome, the process was unnecessarily prolonged and stressful.

Hi Vikki,

Thank you for your review, though we’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and disappointment.

According to Royal Mail’s tracking, GPS location, and delivery photo, the item was delivered to your doorstep. When a parcel is marked as delivered and subsequently reported not received, this usually indicates that it may have been stolen - something that is, sadly, on the rise nationwide.

In such cases, we always ask for a crime reference number from the local police force. This isn’t to delay or avoid helping, quite the opposite. A crime reference number allows us to escalate the issue through the proper channels and potentially recover losses or hold couriers accountable. It also contributes to local crime data that helps the police identify patterns and prevent future thefts.

We are keen to support you and resolve this matter, but without a crime reference number, we are unable to take the next step. We’d still love to help if you choose to report the theft and obtain one, we’ll take it from there with urgency and care.

Kind Regards,
