Garage flowers are better

I ordered flowers to be delivered on a certain date which they were. My daughter called me the next day saying how droopy they were and how the petals were discoloured.
After contacting the company I was asked to send photos (3 in total) which my daughter had sent. The company then asked for another photo which I couldn’t provide. I was then told they couldn’t do anything without this photo. They do not take responsibility for their goods or offer refunds. Stay away.

What a con. Do not use.

What a con. Very disappointed. Customer service ignored the main content of my complaint and were not really interested in customer care. Eventually was offered a £10 credit but refused this and asked for a refund instead as I would never use them again.
I only got that after sending a photo showing the chocolates were nearing end of best by date. Supermarket or even garage flowers far superior for a lot less. At least you can see what you are getting.

Late delivery

I asked for flowers to be delivered on the 29th January and ordered them 2 to 3 days before. They arrived yesterday the 3rd February. I phoned the company 4 times and got the impression they couldn’t care less about their customers. I will never use them again, it has been a horrible experience. They do not deserve the business.

Wanted to send flowers to France and…

Wanted to send flowers to France and date set for 24.12.24. This was confirmed and then I was emailed saying the gift would arrive 03.01.25. Guess what it's now the 05.01.25 and still no flowers delivered. When I complained it was a very poor response. Avoid

Don't bother wasting your money

Don't bother wasting your money.

I placed an order early this year and paid for a bigger bouquet. They eventually agreed I did not receive what I paid for, thus all they could do was provide £10 credit which wouldn't expire for use on my next order. I agreed.

I've tried to place an order today and there is no £10 credit! Surely this is illegal. I have provided them with proof and hope they can resolve my issue ASAP. I'm holding my breath though.

If you have to place an order, play through PayPal for extra assurance. Frustrated is an understatement.

I wish I had read the reviews of 123…

I wish I had read the reviews of 123 flowers, before I ordered.

One star, for arriving on time. The medium bouquet, of roses and 2 lilies, was actually- just six white roses in a box.

This I could have got in any supermarket or garage. So feel cheated and wouldn't use this again.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

Unfortunately my review is solely at this stage based on customer service and process being against consumer law. I’m unable to review the actual flowers as despite selecting a delivery date for my mums birthday - these flowers did not arrive.

I would strongly advise anyone looking to order flowers, avoid 123 / Prestige completely. They believe that blanket T&Cs floating in the back pages of their website cover them from any standard consumer law - and have zero customer service skills at even trying to make a situation a more positive one (like flowers not arriving on the day agreed).

I needed to order some last min flowers and went to two other flower services before finding 123’s site. The first site actively flagged that the flowers would not arrive on time, the second site allowed me to get to point of sale and then had a pop up that communicated the the flowers would not arrive by the date needed due to the address being in Scotland. That’s when I tried 123 - I inputted the delivery date and it gave me the selection available for that date and location. I went through the whole transaction process and at no point did it ask me to accept / say that the date was a condition of T&C’s. I paid the extra for express and was impressed that the florist was a 7 day a week service.

I received my confirmation and invoice (including delivery date) and was told I’d receive another email when the flowers were sent - which I never did.

On day of delivery I waited till midday, and then sent an email to their team, clearly explaining the flowers were meant for delivery today. I received a reply with a tracking number, but no acknowledgement that the flowers should have been arriving that day. When I checked the tracking, it said they were due to arrive the following day. I responded to 123 and again explained these were needed by today, and asked if they could escalate to ensure something arrived today, even if it meant resending. Instead of a helpful reply I was told to wait until 7.30pm as they still “might” arrive - not good enough for a service that most use for an occasion. I asked if anyone from the team would even be available / able to help that late, to which point I received a very dismissive reply telling me I’d accepted the T&Cs and that deliveries to Scotland take longer - clearly they knew this all along but accepted the order anyway.

I knew I had not accepted any T&Cs, nor was there any prompts / alerts around T&Cs. I even went back through the sales process and invoice to double check.

I finally “in the small print” of the page at the very bottom found a T&Cs section - to which they have blanket terms that they basically think make them not liable for any issues. I responded again in email, as having worked in consumer law, I know this is a lazy “copy paste” of terms, and in no way do they over rule trading standards or the consumer rights act. I asked for the email to be escalated, and disappointingly a senior member of the team just repeated the “T&Cs” line - and told me to speak to my bank if I wanted a refund.

No accountability or care from a customer point of view that the flowers hadn’t arrived by the date they accepted - let alone their senior management being as uneducated on e-commerce law as the previous team member.

Through work and personally I send around 10 bouquets a month - I fully appreciate that things can go wrong sometimes, especially using third party couriers, but there are two things companies are able to control and that is transparency and customer care and 123 / Prestige have shown today that they value neither. I understand my bank will refund my money as 123 have clearly breached the order agreement, but it’s the hassle of now having to do a charge back when this could have simply been a refund via them and accountability.

I see many poor experiences with them in the reviews - it’s clear they are in need of training and an update on processes and marketing / communications. I hope that my experience helps others avoid having to have disappointment and the stress of emails and forms.

To the 123 team I say you never know what your customers are going through personally, and flowers are a huge gesture to try and brighten up someone’s day. People don’t need the back and forth of just trying to get what they paid for - nor should you be providing incorrect or misleading information so you don’t have to rectify or refund.

Do better.

Disappointed with international process and v slow delivery

Disappointed with international service. I ordered my flowers as per website then received an email saying I need to order from international page that was showing exactly the same bunch. Delayed over a week for admin to sort this out - fault was in 123-flowers systems and slow processes. Requested politely some discount or future voucher for delay - none offered. So regrettably now posting a poor review to warn others that service is poor and disorganised. Still waiting for confirmation that my international flowers will be delivered a week after ordering and paying.

Disgruntled customer

If I could, I would have given a '0' star, as this time they totally let me down by sending a wrong bouquet AND in a wrong size, but still charged £29.99 for a small bouquet!!!!!!!!!! Which was for a friend who has been ill. I have sent multiple emails AND phoned, but no response. This is just not good enough. Obviously the company doesn't want business.... No customer service or satisfaction. I actually feel as if the company owes me an apology plus a full refund due to the hassle this has caused to me.

Late delivery, sad flowers…

Delivery was late and by the time the flowers arrived the person they were intended for had gone away for a week. What did finally arrive was so underwhelming it looked nothing like the pictures. I would absolutely not order again and wouldn't recommend.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers

I ordered a bouquet of flowers, consisting of roses and lilies and also a personalised card for my girlfriend’s birthday as a surprise. My girlfriend text me to say that she had received a birthday card with another name on it from other people who she I’ve never heard of. Also with the Card was some lilies and roses that had seen better days. Then realised it must’ve been the order, which I placed with 123 Flowers. I called 123 Flowers and explain the situation, they replied saying if your emails we can sort things out. I emailed them with pictures of the flowers and the card. They replied saying that the Flowers look good. I didn’t mention the Card. After going back-and-forth email after the email, they offered me a £15 voucher for 123 Flowers. I am extremely disappointed in the service and the customer service. I would never use 123 Flowers again. And I will recommend that nobody else should too.

Very bad experience, the flowers arrived late

I will not order from them again.... I ordered a bouquet of flowers for a friend's birthday four days in advance and selected the arrival date. On the reservation it said it would arrive on the day selected, I booked it in advance. Even so, the flowers arrived late, the next day I selected. In addition, the flowers were not the ones I chose and paid for, and the text on the card was illegible..... Very bad experience...

Absolute Con Job misleading company

Absolute Con Job misleading company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Ordered the size large and it's half the size of their published size medium on their own website !!!

Tried complaint but some nonsense about a time stamped photos being used by them as distraction tactic.
I will report them to trading standards sales of goods act 1974. Items not as described.
