I've ordered from 32 Degrees for years
I've ordered from 32 Degrees for years. Every order was delivered within a week, exactly what I ordered and great quality, including baselayers, vests etc. I recently clicked on an ad that looked like them, but went to a site called softwhimsy.com.
This is a scam site and my order never arrived. All of these one star reviews I am guessing we're orders from the scam site.

I ordered from the website, i was careful to select my sizes and colors. The ordering platform toggled my size selection back to small (default), but the product description for my purchase still showed large. Very misleading. I sent them screenshots to demonstrate the discrepancy. Their customer service is an unrelenting, patronizing AI bot that repeats the same hootycackle in every response. No exchange was offered. Sorry 32, but never again.
Slowest shipping/fulfillment ever... Great Products
Slowest shipping/fulfillment ever! I'm on the West Coast and the shipping always takes the maximum number of days that 32 Degrees states (9 BUSINESS days after the day the order was placed) to receive.
If not for slow shipping, I'd rate a 5-Star. The products are nice quality, especially for the price. Sizes run a bit on the large side, but I now account for that and order XS.

Absolutely Disgusted by 32 Degrees – Avoid at All Costs
I am beyond disgusted with the way 32 Degrees has treated me as a customer. Their behavior is not only unprofessional but outright dismissive and disrespectful. This entire experience has been a masterclass in how to alienate a customer permanently.
It started when I received a promo code (their own employee admitted in writing) that was “accidentally sent to all subscribers.” The code initially worked but was deactivated when I went to place my order. Instead of honoring their mistake, the company strung me along with generic apologies, empty promises, and a ridiculous “resolution” forcing me to spend more money than I had planned for my very first order—just to get a paltry $10 discount.
To make matters worse, I was promised a callback within 24–48 hours by one of their supervisors (DJ), which never came. When I followed up, I was handed over to yet another supervisor, who blatantly contradicted their own team’s earlier statements. The so-called “Customer Experience Manager” capped this nightmare by stating that the promo code was unauthorized and they couldn’t honor it—despite their own employee admitting it was their mistake. The lack of communication, consistency, and basic accountability is beyond belief.
This company has wasted my time, ignored their own error, and treated me like I’m the problem instead of addressing their blatant mishandling of the situation. Their “solutions” have been insulting at best, and their refusal to escalate the issue further demonstrates how little they care about their customers.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not shop with 32 Degrees. This company doesn’t just fail at customer service—they outright refuse to fix their mistakes or provide fair resolutions. I will never give them my business and strongly urge others to avoid them.
On the one hand
On the one hand, their clothes are GREAT. I absolutely love them. I've ordered, coats, shirts, pants, socks, underwear, etc., and am happy with all of their products.
On the other hand, it is ALWAYS a crap shoot as to WHEN my goods will arrive. Their shipping is absolutely the worst I've ever encountered. So if you don't mind waiting, sometimes for weeks, the products themselves will more than likely satisfy you. Just DON'T hold your breath waiting for them.
Customer service run around
I will start off by saying that I really do like their products but their payment process and resolution tactics leave a something to be desired.
I have been actively emailing customer service representatives as their chat feature does not work. When I receive a response from them I immediately send a follow up email and it takes a day or more to get their next response which leads me to believe they are not answering from the US. Each response is almost the same resolution, which is nothing. I have asked numerous times to be called which has been ignored.
I placed an order with a coupon. It was applied to my order and I checked out. I was then charged the full amount. That is illegal.
Their email responses keep saying that the coupon was not valid. Their last two responses said it was only for employees. I had subsequently tried to apply different coupons to their site and those will not apply and clearly say they are not valid so if the code was not supposed to be used, the site should not have allowed it as they clearly have the ability to control it. I have requested to pay the amount I authorized and have the rest of the money I paid credited back to me. I requested the matter be escalated to a supervisor to make sure this is handled and received the same response only difference is they offered a free return of the merchandise. I also wrote to them on messenger and it took 3 days for a response which came at 10pm and stated the same information and added with that being said we would like to offer you a resolution (but did not offer anything). I then received another message within 30 minutes that said since we haven’t heard back we are closing this ticket. You can’t make this up. They did not honor the posted price which is common business practice. Most importantly they charged an amount different from what was quoted and authorized which is fraudulent. Buyer beware.

I am so happy that this company exists! I bought a long puffer jacket from 32 Degrees about 3 years ago when all of my friends were wearing expensive black north face and patagonia puffer jackets as a trend. I don’t have that kind of money, but I didn’t need to because 32 degrees sold them for 1/5 of the price. Noone could even point out that my jacket wasn’t designer from simply seeing me stand near the other jackets. That jacket from 3 years ago still holds up, but I needed a new one due to a weight change. I finally looked at all the other products on the site and I was shocked to see so many different types of clothes, at unfathomnably good prices for 2025! I purchased many different types of items this time and still spent under $150. I haven’t been able to go on a shopping spree like that in years! I love every single piece that came, and my free scarf that 32 Degrees awarded with my order is so soft! This store is a Godsend. I’m telling everyone I know about it. I know 32 Degrees is out here changing lives, helping people stay within their means and still stay warm, fashionable, and mentally well! Top 5 favorite brands out there! I’m so grateful! Customer for life here, or as long as 32 Degrees stays around!

Your suggestion that I should have reviewed the sizing guide is insulting and blatantly ignores the facts. I did consult your guide, and based on YOUR WEBSITE (screenshot attached), your men’s size small is listed as a 7–8, which, by standard sizing rules, translates to a women’s 9–10. You failed to list this information clearly, yet you somehow place the blame on your customers. How is it my fault if YOUR website fails to provide accurate sizing information?
Your condescending tone and refusal to resolve this issue demonstrate a complete lack of accountability and disregard for your customers. Instead of resolving this easily, you’ve ensured I’ll take every opportunity to make others aware of your rigid policies and dismissive approach.
This situation could have been avoided entirely if your business prioritized customer satisfaction over rigid, unreasonable policies. I strongly urge you to reevaluate how you handle exchanges and how you communicate with your customers.
Not sure why reviews are so low
Not sure why reviews are so low. I ordered in late December and received my order in a reasonable amount of time. One of the leggings was coming apart in a seam and customer service was exceptionally helpful to get a replacement pair.
As for the clothing, the material is extremely soft. The base layer items I got are thin but very warm and great for layering- just what I expected.
I will be ordering from the company again.

Have Ordered for Years
I have many items from 32° in my wardrobe including base layers with crew, mock and turtle necks, & sneaker socks. Every item has been of excellent quality and made with soft fabric that washes well. I find the base layers are a perfect weight - thin but not flimsy - and are not bulky under other clothing. Additionally, compared to well-known name brands, the prices are reasonable. Recommend. Recently, I ordered ladies’ pants in several colors. One came snagged but I contacted customer service and received a response in under 24 hours with a resolution that exceeded my expectations. I’ve read others’ less than glowing reviews but, in my experience, this company has been great. I’ll continue to shop with it until/unless I personally have a reason to stop.

I purchased a coat the first week of November for a Christmas present. The coat was a size too big and I requested an exchange but was told that I to do within 45 days. Only company I’ve ever seen that doesn’t extend for Christmas. I’ll never purchase anything from them again.
