Absolute Joke

JUST WALK AWAY!!!! If you are approached by anyone from this company you have every right to just walk away without giving any of your details they do not have any powers of arrest or contact with the police as I was made to believe!! I was approached and intimidated by two “officers”, tricked into giving my details after they told me I was only being given a “warning” NOT a fine they then proceeded to print out a fat £120 fine. I am a full time student and a young carer so I am not made of money and since I wasn’t able to get the £120 together before the 10 days I have now been lumped with either a £150 fine or I have to go to court where I could possibly get a criminal record and a £2500 fine. I accept littering is now a crime and this is what they are trying to enforce but the fact I wasn’t allowed to pick up my cigarette and look for a bin elsewhere shows that these people don’t care for the environment at all they are only looking to catch unlucky people in the act to make their commission.

One star is one to much…

One star given as it won't let me give none. They follow people who are smoking banking on them dropping it. Manchester is a dump as it is and they don't even pick the litter up. Robbing scum of the earth

Absolute bunch of scammers

Absolute bunch of scammers. Don't understand how this fraud could continue, unless it's a Tory party donor company. I threw a butt in the drain and got fined £150, despite telling the moron that I didn't throw it on the pavement but he had it in to make his commission out of me.

Liers and horible

I been issued with a £150 fine for putting 1 strawberry in a flower pot as was with mold and i suffer from hepatitis b and cant have mold. I explain the situation and removed the 1 strawberry. I also shown that i had rubish in my bag that i didnt litter as was for the bin. The strawberry is a biodegradabile product and really tought is ok to put in in the flower pot. Didnt trough it on the floor or pavement. They issyed the fine and told me that i can email them or call to explain the situation and they may cancel the fine. I contacted 3GS qs instructed by the ladies that issued my fine but they dont accept complains and they answer was must pay no matter what or go court were i can end up paying £2500 fine.
They are an absolute joke and they should have a complain section. How council employ this people ? Disgrace

Feel unsafe, live on the dirtiest street on Waltham Forest

This is a joke!
They can't make anything but trouble!
The area where I leave does not have provided bins to dispose the waste, so the garbage is to be left on the street at the right time( Mon, Wed or Fri between 6am-9 am).
The problem is that the waste is not collected early that day, sometimes later in the evening or even next day. This situation gave this "experts" the right to fine me for illegal dispose of waste. Basically they are saying I am not disposing my garbage bags at the right time or day of the week.
I explained them once, I even took pictures (doing now a "detective" job...), that I left- dropped the waste legal but it was collected late. Even if I am a corect citizen and always looking after the environment, I learned something new, and I am not joking. Never leave tags, stickers or anything having name and address on it. This is bad but this is how it's work!
The 3rd fine is a nice one, £ 400...
I feel unsafe, I still live in a dirty area, this is the worse company to deal with environment.
Shame! I must leave from here because of them!

I live in a shared household and we are…

I live in a shared household and we are about 4 tenants in the house in Walthamforest. Our bins haven’t been emptied for ages, and to prevent the waste not to overflow and for the foxes not to open the bin bags, the shop downstairs who manages our household moved our bins to the busy main road to be emptied. I received a letter from 3GS that they seen my name in the bin and therefore fining £400. I am so upset because I didn’t move the bins. I explained that to them a million times and they choose to ignore it. I’ve received the second letter now that if I don’t pay I will be going to court. Can anyone kindly advise what to do? I am so upset and it is causing me anxiety. Why am I forced to pay something I haven’t done?! There’s no way to appeal it either. If I go to court would I have to pay additional fees? This is driving me crazy. This is what you get for being a good citizen.

Update December 2023
I never paid and didn’t get any issues so guys don’t be scared and don’t pay.

Fined me for dropping a cig butt in a pile of rubbish I was sweeping around my shop (May I add other peoples rubbish) to put in the bin.
Recorded me and read me my rights.
I asked him why he was picking on someone like me who is doing something about the constant fly tipping and mess rather than the people actually doing it. Looked very smug and could see him mentally spending his commission.

He was parked outside my shop on double yellows on the corner of a dangerous junction so I reported him.

Bunch of Neanderthals

Wish i could leave no stars

Wish i could leave no stars. My son was in Manchester piccadilly and gave a few crumbs to a bird. Some big goon from 3gs pushed a card into my son's chest and gave him a £120 fine. The bird had flew off with crumbs so know litter was left behind. First time he had been to Manchester and asked where the sign to not feed the birds was. It was a long way from where he was sat and high up on a lampost. Why dont the council put these bullying clowns on an illegal gypsy campsite and slap ridiculous fines on them. They would pooh in their pants. Just a bunch of thugs and Manchester council should be ashamed of themselves for hiring them.

Fined me on Private property

Fined me on Private property for dropping a butt and walking 1 step away from it before picking it up, after it was completely out. They targeted me because I caught the enforcement officers smoking in the same car park when I arrived. Wish I’d videoed THEM throwing their butts on the ground themselves. I was in a company shirt so stupidly gave them my details. Called to challenge the ticket and was talked around in circles by a lady with an attitude. She told me it was a criminal offence, I responded that I should go to the police to complain and appeal, she said the the police wouldn’t do anything. I said if it is a criminal matter, as she stated, then surely the police would handle it? She laughed. I asked her if their “officers” are students of the law or police officers, she said no. Makes no sense, I will try to fight it but I will probably have to pay. Had I thrown it and walked away, I’d understand. I stayed right beside the butt, waiting to pick it up. I pace a lot due to anxiety, the goons surrounding me didn’t help that and I got anxious, so I suppose they perceived that I was leaving the butt on the floor. No appeal process, condescending attitude from “customer service”. I will be going to the council to complain.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. They do not care about the environment and just targets vulnerable people without even offering them any chance under DEFRA guidelines. These scammers should be driven off the streets and exposed for the liars they are.

THESE PEOPLE NEED REMOVING FROM THE STREETS !!!!

I am in state of shock still .
Yesterday I was getting out of a taxi and the person I was with had a bag of clothes in his hand . A man stormed over and told
Me I’m getting arrested and demanded my address .
I did not understand what was going on . He then told me he had witnessed a sock dropping from the clothes bag . I picked it up which I presumed would surely be the end of the Matter .
But no .
He then followed me for around 10 minutes and told me he will get the police to arrest me if I don’t disclose my details .
At this point I started filming him
And have put the video on social media . Absolutely shocking .
He wanted to get me in trouble with police for a sock that accidentally fell from a bag which I was not even carrying .
Weird . Bizarre and pathetic .

Clueless with no organisation or processes

As many government hired agencies, they run on what seems to be absolutely no organisation, communication and no knowledge of the council rules.

My partner and I live in a flat above a shop, on a busy main road. We do not have municipal bins and when my partner bought the place, he was told that the bin bags are to be deposited near the public bins on the pavement just outside.

A couple of months ago, we both have received letters with an illegal fly tipping claim. Following days of back and forth, and catching two of their officers rummaging through our neighbours bin bags, we discovered that:

1. They weren’t even aware that this was the correct place to deposit the rubbish (verified on council website)
2. We deposited ours on a wrong day

My partner was then issued a fixed penalty of £150, which he paid.

Fast forward two weeks, and I receive a letter demanding a payment of £400 for the same “illegally deposited” rubbish and threatening prosecution of the fine is not paid.

We have then emailed them, attaching the photos of the letters and confirmation of fine payment. After receiving a “sorry if this caused any inconvenience” and assurance that both cases will be closed. Only to receive another letter, today, addressed to me, claiming I didn’t pay my £400 fine and my case will be passed on to the council solicitors.

After speaking to them on the phone, I was advised this was an automated letter and the fine has been withdrawn.

What systems do they use that allow for these “automated letters” to continue being sent out? I have severe anxiety, and have not even received so much as an apology for all the stress they have caused. Oh, and, obviously, they have no formal complaint processes!

Scammers legalised by councils

No stars is not an option, that's why there is one.

A few weeks back myself and my husband were woken by two men, at first glance, their uniforms looked like police uniforms and, as I came downstairs, I heard one cautioning my husband. I was worried as he hadn't been out for weeks. These men then said they were from 3gs. It was cold, my husband is 74 years old and in poor health. These men kept him outside for 30 minutes asking him about some garden rubbish and a black bag. My neighbour can confirm that the black bag was not there before these men came. They flashed some envelopes and told us my husband's name was on them, I was not properly awake and was concerned for my husband so didn't think to ask to see these envelopes properly, then they issued a £100 fine. Neither man was wearing a mask, one did not observe social distancing and, supposedly as a joke, threatened to kick me.
I have tried to contact them by e-mail to ask for proof of this alleged offence, no reply. I have phoned 3 times and all I get is a recorded message saying I can pay the fine on their website.
I have waited 15 minute on hold on the phone and not managed to speak to anyone.
I asked for all proof of the alleged offence but have received no reply.
I have also complained to the council, who have also ignored my e-mail.
Does anyone know how to get fair treatment from these bullies?
Due to my husband's poor health, I feel I have to pay this fine, although we are pensioners and it will be a struggle.
As someone has mentioned before, what has happened to 'innocent until proven guilty' ?
