Fun warm atmosphere being taken round Loch Ness loop by Kev. Fun and knowledgeable adventure - highly recommend!

Arranged a rental for a 2 day coast to coast event from Kev at 42 Cycling and after chatting to him about the route which was over roads, gravel, forestry and a little bit of rough stuff here and there along the Great Glen Way and he recommended the Trek Domane. I was thoroughly happy with the bike on the route. It almost felt as it was custom made. I've actually cycled many sections of the route before being local and the bike carried me through a lot of them at new PR's without breaking much of a sweat.
In addition Kev provided me with a few cycling tips that where new to me which where usedul and an all together professional and friendly service. From what I seen inside the hub the other bikes he had looked to be of a higher standard than you'd expect to find in a rental place.

Kev was very well prepared and suited us up very nicely for the Loch Ness 360. We had a wonderful experience. He was extremely helpful. We had a bike chain issues during the ride and he met us and made it right. I would definitely recommend!!

My sister and I (fit - fifties) took the Inverness to Loch Ness bike tour with Kev. He is full of energy and leads a great ride! We really enjoyed the small group (5 guests) and personal attention from Kev. He provided biking backpacks with first aid kits and water bottles along with helmets for the ride. We had the option to order a box lunch in advance and there were food and drink options at the Loch Ness stop for purchase. Most of our group opted to take the Loch Ness boat tour (separate cost, paid on the spot) which took us down the loch to Urquhart Castle - the deepest part of the loch and really cool to see the castle from the water. My favorite part of the ride was through the forest along Loch Ness - gorgeous area! This was a nice little ride on an excellent bike - could make it as challenging or easy as you want with the different modes. Kev is super interesting ... be sure to ask him questions about bagpipes and the Black Watch! Highly recommend this ride if you are staying in Inverness!

Taking on the challenge of cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats was no small feat, but Kevin from 42 Cycling made every mile feel achievable — and even fun! Right from the start of our challenge he was full of energy, humour, and give genuine support and advice that kept spirits high even on the toughest climbs. His motivation, encouragement, and expert guidance were invaluable throughout the journey.

If you're thinking of tackling a big cycling challenge, or even a smaller day tour I can’t recommend Kevin @ 42 Cycling enough. The TOTAL package! You won’t regret touring with 42Cycling no matter your experience level, they have a ride for you. After all, cycling is the meaning of life (hence 42 if you hadn’t figured that out…props to the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and Kev’s history as a veteran of the Black Watch). The wonderful Kev from Level 42 cycles really helped us out at the Loch Ness Etape 2025. Neither of our bikes went on the plane. Mine was coming on the next flight but alas my friend's wasn't. Kev organised a bike for my friend to ride and assisted me with problems I was having putting my own bike together. He even gas a lift to the restaurant where we were meeting out friends! Thank you so much Kev - we will definitely recommend you and keep an eye on what trips you offer.

Excellent day out with Kev building my confidence downhill, turning corners, balance. I have to say since this training day I have improved my confidence and my commute to work time has reduced which is a great result. If you are a nervous rider, like me, hands on the brakes downhill then Kev is your man

We have rented 4 Top E-Bikes @ 42Cycling.vom today and Kevin brought all the other stuff (helmets, gloves, rain-wear, backpacks, bike glasses etc.) with him to guarantee a perfect trip. He recommended us that nice trail over the Great Glen Way from Fort Augustus to Invermorriston with nice & stunning views on the Loch Ness. Good guy and very reliable company. If you travel to Loch Ness and go on a bike ride, 42Cycling is the No. 1 & premium option.

We had a wonderful day with Kevin! Amazing experience and wonderful guide!!! He showed us the most stunning environments and spent a really good day!

Fantastic Tour!
From pick up to drop off, a great ride with scenic stops along the way. Plenty time to take in the surroundings and enjoy a local cafe. Kev42 providing local info and good humour.

It was my thirth cycling tour with kev ,this time was to the Glen Affric ,he asks , and than , he knows how to give and get the best for your ride ,mountains ,lakes, scenery ,great views ,fun .
