Bought my voucher with no problems. It was very easy.

Very straight forward to go in and buy an offer from 5pm , bought a hotel voucher , once received voucher , I called the hotel and now booked in St Andrews .Very easy website , quick service . Thanks

Took too long for voucher to be emailed to me and didn’t like all the annoying pop ups that came with it. After completing purchase, I had expected to get voucher within seconds.

I booked the Woodlands Glencoe Luxury Hotel Lodge Stay for Two through 5pm.co.uk because it was advertised as a discounted deal. However, after booking, I checked the company’s own website and found they were offering an early season discount at the same price of £349 — the exact amount I paid on 5pm.

Unfortunately, 5pm also adds a £9.99 admin fee, which meant I actually paid more than I would have by booking directly with Glencoe. The main reason I use deal sites is to save money, so this was disappointing.

It was also advertised at £259 for our dates initially, but the price increased by £100 at checkout. 5pm advised that prices are always subject to change, which I understand, but it still felt misleading.

Overall, this was my mistake for not checking the hotel’s direct website first. I would recommend others compare prices before purchasing — in this case, booking directly would have saved money and hassle as I also need to print the voucher for check in.

I made a booking for Westerwood hotel. Money was taken from my account and I received a voucher. 2 days later I get an email cancelling my booking with no explanation. It is impossible to phone 5pm. The email addresses supplied did not work and bounced back. Very poor. I will not use them again.

I love using this site and normally have no issues with it however I don’t seem to be able to access my vouchers and I haven’t had them emailed to me either. Hope they come through soon as our experience is only two days away.
I am editing the review now as I have no been able to access my vouchers- thank you for your assistance. Perhaps I was asked to review my experience before the vouchers were ready??
