Formerly a fantastic ISP we were proud to resell, and the connectivity itself remains great, but the customer service side has always been the weakest link and it has got progressively worse. Technical support has always come across as a bit abrupt but effective, but communicating with sales is an exceptionally frustrating process, often waiting days for replies on simple queries.
We’ve been a customer with A&A for nearly 14 years and would never think of going anywhere else.
At the beginning they helped us get a broadband connection just before Christmas when our existing ISP went into liquidation. We contacted several ISP’s but they were the only one who said they could get us connected quickly before Christmas.
Since then the service has been flawless, any issues (with BT/ Openreach) got quickly sorted for us and they have the best customer service with emails and phone calls being answered quickly by very helpful people and not AI.
We’ve now upgraded to full fibre and a VoIP service. The transition was completely hassle free, no downtime, no issues and consistently getting the speed we’re paying for.
With our old ADSL connection, A&A never increased their monthly price in 14 years. Very impressive.
Here’s to another amazing 14 years with A&A!
All has been smooth and speeds are exactly as advertised consistently.
Customer service and communication is well above average!
By far my favourite ISP and I wouldn't think of going elsewhere.
The best ISP, bar none. We were with A&A for 4 years and had flawless connection and customer service. When we moved, we foolishly thought we'd try out any other name as they're cheaper, and Openreach is in a good state these days.
Turns out, no. They're all absolutely useless. None of them can seem to get internet at our new property, and it's impossible to get through to customer service. A&A though, not an issue, and not only that, but with 4x our 'maximum available speed' because thank god, they still offer G-Fast if you want it.
They have the absolute best customer service in the business, and despite higher costs (which don't rise every year), I'd pay double their fee for the half the service they provide.
I'm cornered. In a good way. They've not let me down in over 4 years of service and they've earned themselves a customer for life. Do not hesitate to go with A&A if you can afford it.
i've tried them all over the years - started out with BE Broadband (RIP), then BT (never again), then Sky (never again), then Virgin Media (never again), then AAISP.
I literally kept VDSL on AAISP for 4 years, despite having faster speeds advertised from other providers, because they
a) pick up the phone when you ring the UK number
b) know what they are talking about when you ask them a question
c) reply to emails if you send them
d) have an active IRC channel (yes, really) if you want it
e) give you proper static IPv4 address(es), no double NAT bullcrap
I've since moved to their fibre service, and it's just as good as the VDSL but faster.
worth.every.penny should be the what 3 words address for their office.
Moving abroad in 2020, I wanted to keep my UK phone number for security reasons, as many services including my online banking rely on SMS OTP for verification *sigh*.
Saw that A&A offered a low cost SIP contract, and a transparent one-off switching fee. All my questions were answered in advance using the live chat on their website, and the documentation was extremely helpful in setting everything up. And MFA as standard everywhere.
Now, 5 years on, it just works. I receive SMS, including OTP, to my email with no noticeable delay. I can receive incoming phonecalls via SIP in the Linphone app. And I can still make outgoing calls to my grandparents so they can recognise my number. All for less money than I spend per year on toothpaste.
Thanks A&A, here's to another 5 years (or 10 or 20 or...)
So far, so good. Everything went smoothly with the change over and had no issues so far. Very Helpful.
Flipping adore these guys. They are awesome at service quality and there’s no “have you tried turning it off and on again?” They monitor everything and put those tools in the hands of the people who that talk to customers. 1000/10.

I love the multiple ways you can contact them, even IRC! Their commitment to privacy and transparency are commendable with static ip being a great selling point. Was having inconsistent vpn behaviour for work on BT, no such issues with AnA, and happily using own kit to connect. Love it.
Excellent service as ever. Quick, accurate, efficient. Does exactly what A&A promises, and easy access to technical monitoring tools is a game changer. Gradually migrating the bulk of our connections to A&A
Not sure how they do it - competitive pricing, leading products and amazing customer service. The support team are so helpful and patient - not there are many issues to resolve. AA are my go to team for broadband. They provide us broadband in London and the south coast.

I've come back to as.net.uk twice from other providers and appreciate the efficient, simple nature of their line. I started with VDSL and have moved onto FTTP, both have been excellent services for my household. A clean connection and low latency. I appreciated static IP and IPV6 address allocations and highly technical information on their portal. information about underlying carrier outages and latency monitoring are a few of the great services provided. thank you AA.

I've been a customer for over 15 years and been very satisfied with the service over that period.
Problems and issues crop up as they do for any ISP, but the way A&A investigate, communicate and keep track of fault resolution is nothing short of excellent. Few ISPs can consistently offer this level of technical competence and transparency, which is something I need given my reliance on Internet connectivity.
Whilst they are not the cheapest, you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little more for competence and peace of mind than a cheap-as-chips deal with a lesser provider who immediately try to palm off any issues as "it must be your router".

Superb VOIP telephone system over Starlink. I would recommend Andrews and Arnold to anyone living in a rural area with a degraded landline.
We were cut off by BT in error when we requested removal of our poor broadband, they disconnected our landline by mistake.
The company were very helpful, configuring our new phone system for us pre-delivery. Their tech support have been great and we now have a phone system spanning the House, Annex and workshop.
The line is perfectly clear and only costs £1 a month for the number usage (No line Rental).
Our Bill this month was £2, beat that BT!
Wish we'd done it sooner.
I've been with A&A for a little while now and have had zero problems. Switch over went well and I doubt I'll switch back to anyone else in a hurry. I've had a few techy questions while setting up extra IP addresses for web hosting and instantly got to speak to tech support...no long phone queues and questions answered straight away. Refreshing to speak to actual people. A BIG 10/10 from me !!!

Excellent customer service. Responsive, knowledgeable, considerate. Moved housed and was well worth staying with AAISP
I've been an A&A customer for ten years, their service and support has always been top-notch. I've now switched over to fibre broadband and am looking forward to many more years of service!
I'm a long standing customer and have recently moved from their ADSL service to fibre. Their service has been very reliable and the move to fibre super smooth. Technical support, on the rare occasions I've needed it, has been first rate and very prompt. I've dealt with many tech / telecoms companies over the years but this one really stands out
Having trusted AAISP for many years now both at home, my business and a charity I help run, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to anyone reading this. We have broadband, domain hosting and SIP telephones and it all works very smoothly- if there is ever a problem then the support service is superb: they answer you quickly and sort out the problem keeping you up to date throughout the process.
