AVOID!

AVOID!! I've never experienced such an awful service and the product was also not in a good condition. I bought a small double divan ottoman bed nearly two months ago. I received no order confirmation email (they simply don't send one). Luckily I had noted down the order number after making the payment. My bed came after 1.5 weeks, however, the bed came broken, it looked like it had been punched through.. it was also dirty. The headboard was the worst as it was completely discoloured and had stains. I order a white headboard and half of the headboard was yellow. Both of there were obviously not quality checked and not in a saleable condition. I requested an exchange for a grey bed and headboard this time. It was near impossible to get through on the phone and emails were being ignored. When I finally got through on the phone they had organised an exchange. The eschange had finally come but they ignored my request for a colour change. I went ahead and assembled it anyway. Now, there were obviously meant to be pre drilled holes but now only do BedWorld not give any instructions on how to assemble the bed and headboard, they expect you to drill holes through the material yourself. When I finally assembled the dicans, the headboard was impossible to fix and the measurements for the holes where the headboard slots in against the divan was completely off by at least 15cm. I managed to get through to Bedworld and organised a collection for a refund. It has been a week and a half since they've collected my bed and I am yet to receive my refund of £340. I have not received any update on this either. Absolute waste of time and energy.

UPDATE - I rang Bedworld after nearly 3 weeks of them collecting my bed. After many attempts waiting more than 45 minutes each attempt, I finally got through to them and was asked "has your bed been collected?" They didn't even know that my bed had been collected until I rang and told them. I have no idea how this company operates. If I had not rang and waited 50 mins, I would not have received my refund.

bunk bed

bought a bed after reading reviews was very scared what was going to turn up but the bed came and it was fantastic there was a mark on the frame but they offered me an exchange or abit of money back which I accepted the money back as I could turn it to the other side of the wall I got the grey bunk beds which has double at bottom single at top so easy to put up delivery driver was good help even helped to take upstairs. fabulous will order again from here

Avoid this company

Placed an order for bed delivery and paid extra for weekend delivery, all looked fine. Then they contacted me on the Thursday to say it would be delivered the following Monday. When I said it was a weekend delivery they said "oh yes, so it is" and they could deliver a week later. Said that was no good and cancelled the order. They said they would refund me, but took about three weeks and chasing up numerous times to get money back. Also they don't answer phone calls so you have to email and hope they respond. Totally useless.

I really wish I’d read these reviews…

I really wish I’d read these reviews before ordering my bed and headboard. Please do not order from AAA Beds or Bedworld. I have never known a company like it. I have paid for a double side opening ottoman bed and headboard in good faith but it’s been a disaster from the start and it’s been very time consuming, frustrating and upsetting. I have been left with a bed that the mattress falls off of when you lift it up and no headboard. The first headboard arrived (late) and it was grey instead of white and had black pen marks across the middle and the replacement one was soaking wet, filthy dirty down the sides and had orange water stains on it. I quickly unwrapped it and then I had to run out in the road to stop the driver from leaving! When I told him and showed him the state of the headboard he didn’t look surprised or bothered about it at all. He put it in his van and went on his way. They now have both the headboards and I’m left with nothing. I’m still waiting for a reply to the last email I sent and despite putting my phone number on every email I’ve sent, no one has called me.
I just want to forget about it all now and accept that I’ve lost my money, buy another headboard from somewhere else and replace the bed when I can afford it but I can’t let it drop out of principle. Why should a company get away with this. I feel obligated to officially report this, claim my money back and warn others. I have honestly never been so stressed about a purchase before!

Trundle bed Scotland

I ordered a trundle bed for my grandchildren, delivery delayed slightly due to covid 19,but was ok with that. Cheery delivery driver called to tell me he would be with me within next 30 minutes which was perfect. Everything was fine with bed really pleased, does the job I needed.

2 beds both poorly made

Bought a gas lift divan with headboard. Pistons were installed incorrectly so the base didnt shut which we worked out after a while, still didnt work properly so we have taken them off completely. Also the headboard does not allow the base to lift!!! So we have to choose between a headboard and using the storage underneath. Poor design do not waste your money!

Ordered a second one ONLY because we originally decided the boys would have matching beds. The 2nd came with the wrong colour headboard...waited around 2 weeks for a replacement after much chasing and then the holes dont even line up so we've had to just stand it at the back against the wall. Honestly give up with this place, cant get it right even once!!!!

Flaunting H&S manual handling & Covid 19

I'm dumbfounded by the delivery.. it turned up at nearly 9pm with only 1 person in attendance. One of the boxes was 48kg so he asked for assistance. During this period, he should have been wearing at least a pair of gloves but there were no covid 19 safety measures in place. I'm 5ft 3 and 8.5st, not the strongest and I'm now in agony on my neck and shoulders... needless to say I was very uncomfortable with it not confirming to social distancing measures, especially as we have been on strict lockdown for nearly 3 months to protect ourselves.
This is a company who clearly have no concerns about the safety of their staff or customers!

STEER CLEAR!!!

Paid £250 for a storage bed. The fabric was worn and absolutely thrown on as if done in the dark. Underside not even cut neat or even tried to make neat. Bed flimsy and poorly made. The opening part of the bed was held together by 1 screw and when you pushed it down to close either corner still popped up, never sat flush. When there was no weight on the bed it flipped back open! Said I would get a call 24/48 hours when being delivered I didnt, they just turned up. Requested a collection and refund it was so rubbish, still waiting a week later. Said I'd get a call again 24 hours notice for collection, got a call out the blue saying driver was on his way, bed wasnt even wrapped for collection so I asked for them to come the following day, 2 days later I'm STILL waiting. Customer service rubbish, just fob you off or ignore you. I will NEVER buy from this place again. Tried to review on their website they just remove it and only keep positive reviews! Dodgy!

Please don’t buy from this company

Bunk bed ordered was missing instructions, and had the wrong size fixtures needed.
Quality of bed is awful
I bought the mattress recommended for the bunk bed by aaa beds (where no measurements are given) and the depth exceeded the saftey standards of 15cm.
Customer service can’t help you at the weekend as managers don’t work at weekends and as the bed was from a “3rd party” who are closed at weekends, there’s very little they can do to help in a timely manner.
I wouldn’t trust this company with caring about the safety of children. Irresponsible and worrying.

Customer service useless

Customer service useless and just come back with excuses rather than any thing helpful, if they come back at all. Colour of bed ment to be charcoal but looks green instead. But the worst part is I chose a specific bed due to the deeper storage being clearly stated as 11 inches and when checked it was only 8 inches. This meant the extra £100 I spent on the bed was a waist.

I ordered my bed on the 3rd of November…

I ordered my bed on the 3rd of November 2019. I then got a call around 2 weeks later saying that my bed was not in stock (even thought it said in stock when I ordered) and that it will be delivered in a few weeks. I agreed. My bed was eventually delivered over a month after I had ordered it. They delivered the wrong mattress (king size mattress instead of a double). I called them and they promised to send me the correct size and also refund me some money back. After another week, they delivered another mattress but a wrong size again. I then called them again and complained and asked for a refund for my mattress as they had continuously got my order wrong. They promised again to refund me but all I got back was £30. They eventually delivered the correct mattress on the 4th attempt. This is unacceptable and the customer service even worse. I will NEVER use this company again.

Ordered my divan base last week on the…

Ordered my divan base last week on the understanding I would get a call 24 -48 hours prior so I could arrange delivery time or at least have some one there waiting at my home as I Work as any other normal person .. No phone call until today to tell me that he was at my home with bed delivery man was very rude and uncooperative I had to leave work to get it as he had just dumped it in the hallway under the stairs of my flat .. Nice bed but will never use them again
