The car itself was fine. However, the staff was quite rude - it felt like any request was a burdon on them and they just wanted us to leave when we came to pick up the car. Also, they tried to charge us for missing fuel and damage because their status report was wrong. Luckilly, I had proof for the fuel level, but I did not take a picture of the area where the damage was since it was pretty small, so we ended up paying for that (60% extra of our original payment!). The fact that they had a problematic status report of the car in which the fuel and mileage were off did not make them question whether their damage report was wrong too. I had a back and forth with them. While they were responsive, they didn't seem to understand how these things are related. To me, it felt like they were just trying to charge us extra. I will not be returning.

Terrible service – avoid at all costs!
I paid money for a confirmed reservation, but AAcars Thessaloniki cancelled it without informing me because they “didn’t have enough cars.” No communication, no apology. Completely unreliable – never again!

I send them this message: Dear AAcars team,

Let me make one thing absolutely clear: this is not about the money. Whether it was €18, €60, or €600 – that is not the issue here. The issue is that I made a reservation with you, relied on your confirmation, and expected a car to be available for me today. You failed to deliver on that promise.

Instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, or trying to offer a proper solution, you chose to respond with arrogance, denial, and disrespect. That says everything about how little you value your customers.

Calling my review “ridiculous” and accusing me of lying only confirms what I already experienced: your customer service is worthless, and your company should be ashamed of the way it treats people. A professional company would admit their mistake and make it right. You did the opposite.

I will not waste more time arguing with you. But rest assured: I will continue to share my honest experience so that other travelers know exactly what kind of company you are dealing with.

I had a very disappointing experience with AA Cars Thessaloniki. The car I received was visibly worn, with multiple existing damages and warning lights on the dashboard. Communication was poor, and the staff acted unprofessionally, even pressuring me to sign a damage report for almost invisible dents that were clearly pre-existing. After returning the vehicle, I was charged extra without prior notice or proper explanation.

For a smoother rental experience, this company needs to improve transparency, vehicle maintenance, and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend AA Cars and suggest others look for more reliable providers.

SCAM – Police & Bank Report Filed
This company scammed me for money never gave me my money back and even threatened me when I confronted them. I have filed a police report and a dispute via Mastercard/Visa. Beware – do not trust them.

Avoid AACARS Thessaloniki – Scam Alert

We booked a 2-week rental with AACARS and they canceled our booking just because we missed their airport pickup shuttle – even though their office is less than 10 minutes from the airport! We offered to come directly to them immediately, but they flat-out refused and still charged us in full.

This is shameless and unethical. No flexibility, no customer service, and no intention to actually help. Instead, they used a tiny delay as an excuse to take our money without providing the service.

If you value your time, money, and sanity – stay far away from AACARS. This feels like a deliberate scam. Rent from a reputable company that won’t invent reasons to keep your cash while leaving you stranded.

booked a car from discover cars .com which I ended up with AA cars. Paid for the car everything was ready as soon as I landed at 11 and was going to pick up the car then they cancelled the car at 11 exactly. Got there and blamed discover cars, then called them directly and then they said it was AA cars that cancelled it. I said suggested AA cars but if you cancelled right then the car is here then I can rebook it, then they said no we don't have a car here so that's the mistake.

AAcars Thessaloniki: Never again.
When returning the rental car, a scratch was noticed which I was able to refute with a photo clearly showing it was already there when I picked up the car. To my surprise, a few days later, €400 was charged to my credit card—without any communication whatsoever.
It wasn’t until four weeks later, after I had sent an email describing the situation as fraud, that I received a reply with an attachment: a damage report and quote prepared by AAcars themselves. That’s like a butcher inspecting his own meat.
You’ll never see me at AAcars Thessaloniki again.

My opition about AA Cars in Ingolstad. we have bought a car from them for over 18000e, they been saying to us that the car is fully functional and has no problems and its in good conditon. First of all when i drove to my Mechanik to only change the oils as soon he got the car up than everything showed half of the car has broken parts and most of the parts has to be changed and the costs its minimum of 3000 euros for only parts. Sale contract was made not legally and its says in it that we car if fully functional and has no defects. We are waiting for the response from AA Cars about what we going to do with it now. If we will be able to sort out the is with the Dealer i will remove my NEGATIV comment but if we wont get it resolved with them we will be going to the court as the car has old defects that has been hidden and the car has also TUV illegaly made as its has new TUV but the car in this condition that it is will never pass any TUV legally. AA Cars the comment is all about the BMW 420d that u have sold.
If anyone wants to see some proof i have lots of pictures of the defects that the car has , lots off hidden defects has been found only when the car was picked up. There is probably much more hidden inside.

AA Cars - I hope we can resolve the problem without going to the court way and if the get the problem fixed i will gladly remove the comment.

It was a relief not to be pressured into buying extra insurance. They explained my options but didn’t push anything unnecessary. I felt respected and in control of my choices.
