A well curated 7 day tour of Istanbul in November 2025. A great balance of workshops and site seeing. I particularly loved the detail in which the tour covered the mosques. Our guides were very well informed which made the whole experience so more interesting. Travelling with a historian who is a specialist in Islamic architecture was such a treat. Helping us all to understand how Islamic architecture can be discovered all the way along The Silk Road. Absolutely fascinating.
Aahilya Holidays are very well organised and every care is taken for your comfort and safety. I am looking forward to travelling with Aahilya Holidays again in February 2026. This time it will be Morocco! Watch this space. 😍

Our trip to Odisha in India was extremely well organised and took us to places we would never have seen normally. We saw so much of interest and participated in fascinating workshops with local experts, giving us an even better insight into how complicated some of these crafts are. This was my second holiday with Aahilya, and I've already booked the next one.

Excellent tour- well organised with a wonderful environment to make anyone travelling solo to feel comfortable. Tour guides were very knowledgeable to enhance the fantastic trip. I will definitely book with them again.

I had a very interesting, enjoyable holiday. We were extremely well looked after by Isha, Kurdish and Kim. We learnt a great deal about the Mosques from our Turkish guide who again took great care of us.

This was truly a memorable trip, filled with unique experiences and opportunities to learn. Richa and the Aahilya team do an outstanding job of planning and preparation, such that participants never have to concern themselves with logistics of any kind. All of our attention could be focused on soaking up the incredible culture and surroundings. It was thrilling to be able to get hands-on with textile processes - and elephants!

Richa organized an amazing tour for our group that was chock full of first time experiences. The guides were all very helpful and informative and well versed in India’s rich and complicated history! We were kept informed on upcoming activities so well prepared with what to bring and when. I can’t choose my favorite activity. There were very many and all wonderful. Thank you Aahilya!

Accommodations were geared to American expectations, so we could start each daily excursion refreshed. Our guide knew how to navigate between our cultures with humor, and was great at making sure we were ready for each day’s excursion. We were able to experience truly local culture and crafts that would not be possible with a large group or a typical “bus tour.” I could tell so much had to happen behind the scenes to make this such an enjoyable experience for us.

I really enjoyed my holiday to Vietnam with Aahilya Holidays. We covered a lot of ground from North to South. The people are very welcoming and it was interesting to discover some of their traditions and their culture. The hotels we stayed in were comfortable and convenient for different restaurants. The food was of a high standard and plentiful! My fellow travellers were lovely and great fun, we shared many happy experiences. Isha was wonderful organising everything to make our holiday very memorable. The local guides were knowledgeable and tried to fill our time with as many experiences as possible.
We saw a lot of crafting skills and if anything I would have liked some more hands on experiences which may be possible on future trips to Vietnam as this was Aahilya Holidays first visit.
I would certainly recommend this holiday and being part of a small group enabled us all to get to know each other, which was lovely as a single traveller.

Fantastic experiences, food , local guides, and beautiful hotels. Everyone welcomed us and I felt totally safe as a single traveller.

We went to Vietnam with Aahilya holidays. I had never been to that part of the world before and was surprised by what a fantastic country it is. Aahilya holidays took us to so many places. The tour guides were very knowledgable and we were made to feel safe and looked after. The company was very accommodating to all our needs and we had an action packed, experiential holiday of colours, culture and most importantly, food all tied up with lovely fellow holiday makers.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, and I felt well cared for the whole time. It was wonderful to go to the village for embroidery, but for me the highlight was definitely the block printing. I would recommend Aaliyah to anyone interested in local crafts and food!

Each country visited has been an unforgettable adventure. I love textiles, art and architecture. These trips have introduced me to so much; fulfilling my every requirement. The depth of knowledge that the guides have given us, from history to culture has been so amazing. We have been taken to such special places they will remain in my memory for ever.
The company researches so carefully the hotels, restaurants and venues. I have never been disappointed with the accommodation and service in any. Staying in such exciting places from majestic forts to jungle retreats. Quite stunning.

This tour exceeded all my expectations! Our small group quickly jelled & our textile workshops were fun. We learnt so much from our caring & excellent guides -it was very intense trying to absorb all the history but the architecture & textiles were soooo beautiful. Highly recommended!

Our tour of Uzbekistan was planned and delivered with thought, efficiency, flexibility and fun by Isha and Aahilya holidays. All our travel, hotels, coaches and meals were up to my expectations. Our local tour guide was not only friendly and fun, but so knowledgeable and open to explaining our plethora of questions.
Our workshops, design and creative experiences were thoroughly covered by Kim our tour co- host. Overall, a wonderful immersion into Uzbekistan's history, culture and people, while travelling with a lovely group, and wonderful tour leaders.

I had a wonderful time in Uzbekistan with Aahilya holidays. We had a group of about 15 people and travelled around. All the hotels were excellent and the transport was great. We had a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who made the trip an experience of a life time. This is my 4th holiday with this company and it won't be the last one I take with them.
