Just returned from an amazing trip to Uzbekistan.
Well organised tour, very experienced guide who was very informative. We packed so much in to the two weeks creatively, cullenery and archetectually.
Isha, Khurshid and Kim made a great team the ladies I travelled with really gelled and we had good fun along the way.

If you are thinking of going somewhere to explore the crafts and the history of a country go with Aahilya and you will not be disappointed. They give the best experience with knowledgeable guides and show you amazing places in a very safe way. Meet authentic artists and master craftsmen, experience workshops with guidance, shop and eat in traditional ways. I am just returning from a wonderful trip to Usbekistan with them and I take home happy memories. This company will exceed your expectations.

This company is exceptional from the moment you show interest in a holiday to getting home. Their attention to detail is second to none and very personalised. As a lone traveller I felt looked after throughout. Our holiday was textile and culture focused, with wonderful workshops with local artisans and excellent tour guides. Lots of extras were provided, even a Tee shirt so we could take part in Holi, the throwing of coloured dyes. I would highly recommend Isha and her company.

Nothing was too much trouble for the company and the accompanying guides throughout the tour. Travel arrangements and guidance was clear and comprehensive. The itinerary was very considered given our limit time in India, local guides were informative and knowledgeable. Magical memories

This was my first trip to India. The tour was very well organised with an interesting & enjoyable mix of hands on workshops, visits to observe skilled artisans at work and the exploration of several unesco heritage sites, including the magnificent Taj Mahal.

The tour planning was polished and there were several unexpected & thoughtful touches which made the trip particularly special. Isha our guide was exceptional. I would highly recommend Aahilya Holidays.

This tour was a wonderful experience. The support staff were knowledgeable and travel arrangements went smoothly with great communication along the way. Everyday was filled with unique cultural experiences and Isha's background information and her warm personality contributed to a once in a lifetime experience.

Incredible tour organised with utmost care and attention to detail. Great balance of culture and hands on workshops. Nothing was too much trouble for Isha who personally accompanied us on the whole tour from pick up at the airport. Excellent local tour guides from Jaipur and Agra who brought history alive for us. I have just returned from an amazing holiday in Rajastan with Isha and Wendy Dolan leading it. The holiday was extremely well organised and provided an interesting and varied experience.
The accommodation was comfortable and at times completely overwhelming with its grandeur and situation. There was a lot of travelling but there always enough stops to make it comfortable.
The workshops and visits were always interesting and there were several interactive workshops which I loved.
This was a very special holiday which I would really recommend to anyone interested in Indian textiles and embroidery and I will cherish my memories for many years to come.

Provided a holiday experience of a lifetime. Every little detail had been considered and provided. The Director of the company accompanied us on the tour, assisted by a textiles specialist, an area specialist and local guides. The accommodation was out of this world and the activities were of a very high quality. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Our trip to Gujarat was excellent. We had an outstanding team of leaders, who were very knowledgeable about the area, especially about the textile traditions of Gujarat. The itinerary included visits to the studios of internationally recognised textile artists and we were able to do workshops in painting on fabric, block printing, shiburi style tie die and traditional embroidery stitching under the supervision of these artists. It was an exciting and inspirational experience. In addition to the textiles, our visit to Bajana Ass Sanctuary was great fun. As well as the asses, we were amazed at the diversity of the birds we saw there. This was definitely a 5 star holiday.

This was a wonderful trip looking at and learning about the textiles of Gujarat, as well as gaining understanding of the people's lives and traditions. It was superbly organised by Aahilya. We stayed in great hotels, were fed really well and were looked after every step of the way. The workshops were great fun. Isha and Wendy did a great job leading the trip and Gautam, the guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The memories and experiences of this holiday will last a lifetime. Thank you!

We Also visited and stayed at a Safari camp
Where we saw an array and abundance of such beautiful birds on the plains - it just blew you away
Seeing them in their natural habitat .
It was a real treat, so peaceful- it was good for your soul!!

As A tour operator, we were looked after so well. Isha is a great organiser and made sure everything was just perfect for our tour. Wendy Dolan accompanied us on our textile trip as well as Gautam a textile expert. It was the most wonderful experience the colours the smells the food the company ! A wonderful holiday in Gujarat. My third trip with Aahilya, and as always organisation and variety of activities was great. The workshops meant we had the opportunity to try the complex embroidery and tie-dye which makes this area famous. Our tour leaders and guides were interesting and added so much to the trip with their local knowledge and experience. Aahilya holidays are a truly immersive experience of life in India, alongside learning new skills from the local experts. I strongly recommend this trip to anyone interested in textiles, not just looking but having real hands on practice.
