I have to admit I personally didn't read all the details entirely when the vehicle was purchased. A purchase agent handled the initial transaction. I now see the company does state 2 to 5 weeks for delivery and they are within their rights. I apologize to Abetterbid for the rating and hope I can give a higher rating if they honor the time limits.

The car was advertised as having minor damage, but that was completely false. I relied on their auction listing, their EPICVIN report, and their overpriced transport service, and every single one of them turned out to be misleading.
The vehicle delivered was a total junk, nothing like what was advertised. The VIN report they provided was useless and failed to show publicly available information about the car’s real condition.
To make matters worse, the transporter brought the car anyway—causing even more damage to the gear—and refused to communicate properly. I repeatedly asked for his phone number so he could describe the actual damage before delivery. He never provided it, and he was the only person who could have prevented this disaster.
Avoid this company at all costs.

They have so many fees that CoPart referred to as "predatory and unfair". Due to this is ballooned a $25k truck to $31.5 after all of their fees, which is absurd. Once cancelling the sale due to the high price not realizing it would be so much more, they proceeded to force me to remove my negative review, before they were willing to negotiate a refund. "Requiring the removal of a negative review as a condition for refunds or settlement offers can be considered a questionable or potentially unlawful practice under consumer protection standards." They then proceeded to steal over $3k of my money to allow me to forfeit the vehicle and in their negotiation became extremely derogatory. This is word for word from their email "We have reviewed your case with management and are prepared to offer you a refund of $2,000 from the $5,000 paid for the relist and cancellation fees, contingent upon the removal of the negative review on Trustpilot." In which it took over a month to even receive the refund.

I wish I had never chosen them. They force you to use their shipping. They do not provide you with the paid invoice from Copart or gate pass pin. Making you to send the insurance info for the vehicle for what? For trying to fool you down? Hahahaha. I’d pay a few $ more and choose Autobidmaster for example or maybe even consider to work with w8. Autobidmaster will ALLOW you to pick by yourself. It’s illegal to make you using the VERY hight transportation. Autobidmaster - a better price for shipping, w8 - a better price for shipping, mercury - a better price for shipping. For what I should choose a better bid? For trying to make money on me? The worst experience I have ever had. Rude customer support. Stay away. Just save your time and go with someone reliable. When you call them they say - it’s a rule we have and trying to make you an idiot. Dislike to listen, interrupt you and sigh. I am begging you to choose someone but these guys. I hope you see my point of you. They respond differently regarding the shipping to their customers. Why? Idk. They told me: you cannot choose your transporter but you can email us their insurance so we can look into it. But they lie. The do not fulfill their promise…

Oh God no, The worst vehicle buying experience of my life
I purchased a vehicle through A Better Bid and the entire experience has been extremely stressful. The truck I received was not as advertised and when I tried to follow their buyback/refund process, the company repeatedly refused to send the refund before pickup. I have documentation of dozens of emails asking for standard proof of payment (FedWire trace or IMAD number) before I release my property.
Instead, they continued to demand that I sign away my rights and release the vehicle first with no verified payment. I was told many conflicting things over several days, and the refund process kept changing.
At this point I have had to involve my state Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for assistance because I could not get clear or consistent answers from their team.
This has been an exhausting process and I would strongly recommend anyone reading this to research very carefully before using this company.
Edit one: is this before or after Ms Eves response of
Hello!
The management reviewed your case once again. You can skip signing the agreement. However, the vehicle must be delivered to the location first and the yard must confirm the vehicle is received and is in the same condition. After having a confirmation, we can initiate wire transfer.

Thank you for your response. However, your own statement confirms that you are conditioning a refund on surrender of property before payment is issued or verified. That practice directly contradicts standard consumer protection and refund procedures required under U.S. commerce and contract law. This matter remains under active review with the Missouri Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Have a great day
Respectfully.

The pictures in the auction are not clear nor precise.
I just bought a truck and from the fir impression the truck in the pictures looked good without damage but when I received the truck I could realize that the truck has body damages and dents all around something that wasn't shown in the pictures.
This company should to take more precise and accurate pictures specially from the damages of the car and also express in the characteristics if there's something wrong with the vehicle like if the a/c or heater are working or not, if has the engine light on or any other lights on on the dashboard, if windows and sunroof is working, etc, etc
I other words notify the customer all the things that are impossible to know with just some pictures which aren't even clear to sight.
Talking about the customer service, was awesome they always help me answering all my questions on manner and time.

I did not end up buying a car here, but I tried and their customer service was excellent. When I needed help, they answered the phone promptly. When I needed to refund my deposit, there was a button on the app to do it. Very positive experience overall.

Found a vechicle I wanted to bid on.It said I had to give a refundable $400 deposit. I gave them the deposit but when I went to bid it showed the fees they were going to charge on a $275 vechicle was almost $1,000 on top of my bid. I didn't bid and went to request a refund of my deposit. It said I had to agree to their terms to complete the refund. Reading it it sounded like they were going to charge me $249 in fees to get my refund. I didn't agree to that and started a dispute with my credit card.

I purchased a car through their platform, which was listed with a clean title via a Copart auction. The listing stated that the winning bidder would receive California Clean Title or Clear Title transferable documents. The car runs perfectly and has no damage — it does not meet the criteria of a junk vehicle by any reasonable standard.
However, A Better Bid — acting as the broker — processed the transaction and unilaterally changed the title status to "junk" with the California DMV. This designation was not clearly disclosed prior to the purchase. When I contacted them, I was told that this is “what they do” and that it was supposedly stated on the vehicle page. I reviewed the listing thoroughly; there was no clear indication that they would brand the vehicle as junk. Now I am left with the burden of trying to revive the title through a costly and time-consuming salvage process — all for a car that is in excellent working condition.
This practice appears deceptive and has serious implications for resale, registration, and insurance. If a clean or clear title is important to you, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Transparency is critical in these transactions, and I did not receive it here.

Beware! A better bid has falsely advertised a car by selling it as a clean title when, in fact, it was a salvage title. I had brought it to their attention thinking maybe it was just an honest mistake and I can get a quick, easy refund. I provided pics of the screenshot showing that they listed the title as clean and the title itself where it is listed as salvaged. First I spoke with Olivia who became argumentative with me and had advised me to take it up with motor vehicles. It is clearly not the DMV’s problem since they did not sell me no car. After going through my emails I found that I had previously dealt with Eve. When I advised her that I'll be taking them to small claims court, she responded by saying they will buy the car back and that would be the way I would retrieve my “refund.” I agreed. I can’t do anything with this car and wanted my money back. I waited for about a week for them to pick up the vehicle from the body shop. I contacted Eve again and told her that its building up storage fees as it is sitting on the premises of a body shop that doesn't belong to me.Eve had advised me that if I can arrange for it to be towed back and provide them an invoice on they would reimburse me. There for I set up the tow and got storage invoice and forward them to her. I was immediately called by Olivia who stated ABB she will not pay any storage or towing fees. After explaining that Eve agreed to this she became argumentative and belligerent, stating “You will get nothing” and hung up. They are unprofessional and falsely advertising vehicles. Their in ability to take responsibility for their mistakes is unethical. The fact that they cannot communicate with in the company reflects their incompetence. Be aware that you may not get what is actually listed on the site.

I think a lot of these reviews are fake. I recently looked into buying salvage cars through a better bid. I had one in mind and signed up for their annual membership for 50 bucks. It was only until after I signed up with the membership that in the car posting it said export only. Not even five minutes later I reached out to their customer support to ask for a refund as this was extremely misleading. I explained my situation and what happened and they basically told me tough loss and it’s our policy. If you are going to buy a car through a broker go through auto bid master, they are the same price even though their membership cost more. The overall rates they charge come to about the same price as a better bid. Terrible, terrible terrible just seems like they’re all in it for the money and not worried about helping you get your title transferred and aren’t willing to help a customers out with a simple mistake

The ability to order a vehicle was quite simple but there were a few things I did not like which is why I am only giving a 3 star rating and won't be ordering through the site/broker again.
1) I don't believe it makes sense for a "buy it now" price to have auction fees added when the vehicle was not purchased via the auction.
2) I don't like the fact that Copart allows the buyer to pick up their vehicle but A Better Bid forces you to use a transporter and pay extra fees.
3) I find it ridiculous that I purchased a vehicle late night but that night was still considered as part of the pick up days. There is no option to pick up a vehicle at 10 or 11pm so why would that even be counted instead of rolled over to the next morning?
4) I used A Better Bid as a broker in hopes of getting a clean title vehicle as it was shown on Copart, but upon arriving at the website I realized it's an acquisition that will still end up becoming a salvage title. Which means I should have just saved myself some money and avoided a broker altogether and purchased a salvage via right on Copart that I could pick up for almost free. It was a waste of money and time.
5) I paid all my fees almost immediately yet shipping was still delayed for some odd reason and the time/date kept changing, yet I was still charged storage fees as if it was my fault. I am 32mins away from Adelanto and could have picked the vehicle up quicker and for far less than charged.
6) Allow vehicles to be paid for via debit/credit card instead of forcing wire transfers. It's too much of a hassle.
All in all, the website/company has potential to be great but there is a lot to work on. I'd start with adjusting the auction fees and shipping situation.
