This is the third time we have used Steve. In fact we have used Steve for all our house purchases and re-mortgages. Steve always takes the time to understand not only what we want to achieve with the immediate re-mortgage but how that ties into our long term plan and vision. This ensures we get the perfect fit for our mortgage requirements now and into the future.

Due to increases in the house market prices and high demand we ended up with a difference of £50k on our house valuations from local estate agents, this proved difficult for the subsequent re-mortgage valuation. Steve persisted with us and took the time to guide us through three lenders until we got the deal that was right for us.

We can’t thank Steve enough for all his help and hard work over the years and especially on our recent re-mortgage.

Having approached other mortgage advisors who did not seem enthusiastic about taking our case on, (it wasn’t straightforward) we can finally say we have been offered a remortgage!

I can't thank Paul @ able mortgages enough for the support offered through out our nightmare house purchase! From the initial contact to completion he was fantastic. Our journey wasn't an easy one but the support offered was far more than expected. I would have been happy enough to leave an excellent review based on the advice he gave us on the way to proceed with our mortgage. He was clear and concise in his explanations, he listened to our concerns and made sure we understood all options so that we could make an informed decision. Where I feel the service excelled was that on top of quality mortgage advice he was supportive thoughout the whole process, we could call him up and ask questions, he always made time for us and nothing was too much trouble. It was the most stressful time and whilst he was always sympathetic and understanding his advise was always based on facts (it was mostly based on emotion for me!) and how to get the very best outcome for us. Upon completion we had a call firstky to congratulate us and then to remind us of some of the key points of the mortgage to make sure nothing came as a suprise! At no point through out the whole process did we ever feel like just a number or paycheck it was a personal service where we felt valued. I used a free advisor (suggested by an estate agent) for my first purchase, but having used Paul for this purchase i can see the benefit in paying for a professional (fee was very reasonable too!) We will see you September 2023 when our fixed rate expires!

Alice from able Mortgages was the best money spent in the entire house purchase, surprisingly the cheapest aspect but by far the best service.

Friendly, professional and on the ball!
When other advisors wouldn't even attempt to get us an AIP due to a finance company admin error, Alice had our AIP ready in 24 hours!

Followed by becoming possibly more excited about the property than we were, she played the bad cop with solicitors, survey providers etc. On the phone to them more times than I can count getting things done quickly.

Thanks to Alice we have gone from 1st viewing to moving in, in just around 8-9 weeks!
